Growing and coming along nicely, but looks to have some type of deficiency. I havenβt checked ph or PPM. Iβve been just letting it go on its own. Now I need to check and figure out whatβs wrong, but all in all this project is seeming to work out pretty nicely

I went to the settings and was able to change the strain name. I didnβt want to start a brand new journal since this one has already been able to document the trial and error parts as well.

LOL!!! I saw the title and thought you were gonna use the toolbox as the DWC rez, and it turned out to be the friggin grow box!!! π
I am following this grow fo sho!
So far the only issue Iβve come across is the reservoir for the DWC being too low. I switched to a coffee can and hope to see the seed sprouting soon. If not I will have to rethink and plan again. π€
I like the idea for your little project. I have had a think of your problem with the reservoir. What you could do is cut a hole in what is your base of your tool box where the res is sitting, just big enough for your net pot to sit flush with the base. Then get a bucket with lid or another tool box and drill a hole in that and place the toolbox on top. The bottom container is your res with the roots coming down from the tool box. All u have to do for water changes is lift your toolbox off the res. Long message, am stoned. But good luck with the grow, will follow.
@ivik80, thanks! This grow is mainly for fun and to show people the possibilities of these plants and how they can be fully grown in such a small environment π
I really appreciate everybody wanting to follow along on this grow. Itβs going to be fun!

Hey bro, this looks really neat, any way of lowering the bulb in there to start, think you need to minimise stretch and youβll be laughing. Iβm following and will be looking at doing my own as soon as you iron out the creases for me ππΌπ wishing you all the luck and canβt wait for your updates, youβre gonna get quite a few followers on this I think, keep us posted π±
I appreciate everybody's comments and those who will be following. The seed should be ready with enough taproot to be able to place inside the net pot. As far as for stretching, I want to just raise the the whole reservoir for now and lower it as she begins to develop more. Im still undecided on how Im going to train her, but I want to make it fun and as enjoyable as possible.
If you edit your diary you should be able to change the strain info. I've had to do it a few times because I didn't understand how to use the custom section on a mobile device lol.
I have to take my hat off to anyone who experiments with the possibilities of ghetto hydro. I have a diy, hydro grow at the moment and I have been mulling over for some time the concept of of making the tiniest possible set up that was still fully functional.
The idea of having it enclosed as you have is great as a concept but not very practical, however once you start down this road I'm sure it will take you to some very interesting places.
