Marrakesh | Purple City Genetics

ThePurpleAlchemist I've been super busy with life and getting a new job so I didn't document much of the end of the my last harvest or the beginning of this one so I'm a bit late to the party on this one! 😅 This baby is Marrakesh by Purple City Genetics. It's a cross between Moroccan Peaches and Canal Street Runtz. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty nice to me! I'm excited to see what comes out of this one. This is my first time growing anything from PCG but I've read good things about them and they just have a nice professional vibe going on. They have a lot of other strains that I would love to try also. I've topped her twice and went straight to flower. My last plant got a little too tall so I'm trying to keep this one short. I'm also growing 5 other plants outside this summer and a bunch of hot peppers/vegetables so I've been pretty busy with all that. Happy Growing Everybody!

ThePurpleAlchemist Not sure the exact week of flower tbh, it's most likely between the 2nd and 3rd week of flower. Buds are just starting to form and she's still stretching. She was super compact and short, like literally a ball of leaves pretty much so I'm glad to see her stretching a bit to open her up some before flower. I'm not sure if it's genetics or the new light I'm growing with since it's quite a bit stronger than my 100w one. Anyways, I'm pretty excited for this one to start flowering, she's got some nice parents so hopefully I get something nice.

ThePurpleAlchemist Did a defoliation and cleaned up her skirt area. She is coming along very nicely but stretched like crazy! I even flipped early to avoid getting too close to the light but still didn't work. I have a new 4x4 tent coming in this week along with a new light so I plan on moving her to that tent once I get everything set up.

ThePurpleAlchemist The sugar leaves are already getting covered in trichomes so I'm thinking this one is going to be a frosty one!

ThePurpleAlchemist She's making good progress. I turned the light down a bit and tried to tie the tallest tops off to the side a bit. Buds are fattening up and the trichomes are going pretty crazy already. Also put pictures of my brand new 4x4 with a 720w Mammoth Nova Sun Series LED!! 😁😁💪💪 I'm f--kin so excited to get a run going in this bad boy. I got the seeds germinating as we speak so should be soon. I'm trying my hand at coco this time also.
