postpluves 20.06 Here we are again! Post MJ, time to get another run going. Skywalker auto was a freebie I got for showing the Exodus Cheese from G1.1.26 at their stand, and she’ll be in the tent alongside a photo (G3.2.26), just because I Can’t Just Have One. New light is incoming today, upgrading from my Vanguard Hydroponics 150w to a Mars Hydro 300w. Curious to see how much of a difference she’ll make!

postpluves 27.06 One week down, and it’s been the hottest of the year so far! With daytime temperatures up to 37C, we managed to keep the house at 30-32C, and the tent got a hottest of 33C. Even with that onslaught, mama’s first lil freak seems to show a will to thrive. Cotyledon turned out to be one large folded around piece, which I ended up tearing into a little to give the true leaves some space. They needed it, it seems, cause there’s one more in there than usual. Skywalkers, man, there is always Another. First time seeing tripartite symmetry, and I’m really excited to see how she grows up. Should I top her? Will this Skywalker grow stronger in the Force if I put obstacles in her path? Or should I just let her find her own way?

postpluves 06.07 An incomplete week of documentation, but that’s what I get for going out for a few days. It seems like the tripartite symmettry fun is over, as the leaves of the second node were fused, which for the plant counts as one placement, and not two. A shame, but probably for the best with an eye on her future harvest. Let’s see if she’s otherwise unstunty.

postpluves 12.07 An uneventful week, though we’ve started topping and LST for young Skywalker. So far so good, with vegetation growth continuing seemingly unhindered. The two side branches coming out of the conjoined leaves node seem a good deal thicker and more vigorous than their comrades, which is interesting to see. First pistils spotted too, so congrats to me, it’s a girl! And I’ll name her… Leia.

postpluves 17.07 Last week of veg for our Leia! Mostly been keeping the course, tying her down as needed, and taking out the least viable nodes. Considering how well 2.1.26 did on topping and defoliation, I figured I’d take it one step further this time, and also take out unwanted nodes. Not planning a full lollipop, but definitely want to keep the branches a little cleaner than last grow. Flower, here we come!
