dvr147 put two seeds into a glass of distilled water yesterday, last night poured out onto a paper towel and folded over. Placed the paper towel in a plastic bag (vented) and placed on a dinner plate which went onto a warming mat. Today by 5pm the tap root had sprouted on one of the seeds so I consider that the strongest seed and disposed of the other. I only have room for one plant. After that, I mixed up a gallon of dechlorinated water, added 1ml of cal-mag to help buffer the coco and seed. I ph'd the water to 5.8 after recalibrating the meters. My PPM was around 300 as expected...and EC of around .6. Should be safe for a strong seed.
day 3 - mixed up first gallon of nutrient solution. Will feed by hand early evening. should see some decent growth during the next 10 days. color of leaves looks perfect. Nice dark green.
