Jesperado The goblins didn’t get the easiest start in life. They were raised with limited light and far too little personal space, so naturally they did what any ambitious little goblin would do: they stretched dramatically toward the light. They have now been transplanted into their final containers and moved to a secret spot, where they can hopefully settle in, strengthen up, and become the compact little troublemakers they were always meant to be.

Jesperado The goblins are actually looking healthier than my other 3-week-old plants. 😄 They were sitting a little too much in plain sight for my liking, so I moved them to a steep hillside where only mountain goats and the occasional lost hiker are likely to find them. That’s the beauty of a guerrilla grow in pots – if the neighbors get too curious, the whole operation can simply pack up and relocate. 🌱?

Jesperado The goblins are stretching a bit, even though they’re not exactly living in best sunlight conditions. Still, they’re looking healthy, green, and surprisingly motivated. I’ve been giving them river water, and apparently they’re into that woodland goblin lifestyle — because they seem to be enjoying it just fine.

Jesperado Progress is slow, but that’s the price of keeping them tucked away and out of sight. I’ve basically traded maximum sunlight for maximum stealth — not exactly ideal, but sometimes the ninja approach wins. They got a little snack today: some molasses, Epsom salt, and calcium. I’m still considering moving them at some point, but for now I’m undecided. They may stay in their secret little hideout a bit longer.

@JaramnieJazz, Thanks, you too! It’s just one of several spots. This one is about a 1 km walk each way, followed by a lovely obstacle course of blackberry thorns, burning nettles, and swarms of biting insects. I picked the spot very strategically: because absolutely nobody in their right mind would want to go in there. So maybe it’s not exactly hard work… but it is definitely painful work.
