Reset grow tent. Added new lights mentioned in attached pictures. Started the autos in the finishing 7 gal fabric pots. Humidors to help the seedling pop. Let's hope for 100% germination. Peace. Setup - 5x5 Grow tent, but could not utilize the high (80"). I have a very short basement height to work with. 2 X Amazon Special Phlizon "1200W" (actual 250W ea) Blurples (meh it kinda works lol) 1 X HLG 320W Triple QB LED. (flipping awesome light! Im going to order a second for my next grow to replace the blurples) Fans everywhere, Dehumi, Temp and rH controller. Fan controller with temp control for the carbon filter setup. CanFan 8". 7gal Fabric pots

Great success 5/5 seedlings popped on day 3 and 4 from the Dinafem line. As expected for their products. Seedlings looking great. Didn't water the plants. Pots are still have great moisture, keeping the rH has been an uphill battle averaging about 55%. Noted in the pics, added some more ratchet hangers for better light position control. Lots of wires everywhere, i could use some tips from peeps how they manage their cables! Also did a light leak test on the tent and found out some of my controllers emit light! No Beuno! Ended up solving the issue by covering them up with some backing tape that can be peeled back easily. The humidifier also was cleaned out due to something bio growing inside of it. Also found that there was a blue light being emitted from the unit, ended up opening it up and using the same backing tape to snuff of the light. (easily reversible). Cheers!

Girls are moving along nicely in week three, Technicaly day 8 since popped! rH has been much easier to deal with since the weather has been nice. The little humidifier runs all day long tho. Temps also really easy to manage due to an all LED setup! Very happy with the QB so far but I need more time to put an official review for it. Pots dont seem to need water, but i am giving them a spritz on the leaves every morning. I do have a concern, the soil hasn't seem to need water but I am dealing with auto seedlings staring in the final pots. Plants dont seem to be overwater? But I'd like your opinion on them. Please see the pics and video posted! Enjoy and thanks for the read! :)

Alright folks always are now on day 18 and we are looking good. I did notice the plants needed water pretty badly. Hope I didnt stunt them. (Better than over watering imo) They did perk up once I watered them. They blew up since the last update and it was time to LST. Water the ladies today with aprox 8 cups of de-chlorinated water each, pH to 6.5. Moved the lights a little closer and added a new humidifier due to a break down with the old unit.

Hey folks, we are steadily moving to day 23 of the grow. I have observed some pre-floweres growth so flowering will start soon for these autos. Pots were dry again so I decide to really water them in by adding 4L per pot to wet everything out. Another round of aggressive lst for the ladies as seen in the photos posted. Some observations made, I found that some of the leafs tips are yellowing. Not sure it's from the underwatering from the last update but it hasn't progressed any further into the leaf. Will keep a close eye on them. Hope you guys enjoy the update. Cheers.

Alright folks! We are running on aprox Day30 into the grow! The tallest plant almost stands up 18+ inches! Shes growing good, I do have one plant that is being all funny and its showing me excessive signs of nutes. Added Calmag feeding @ 3mL/Gal and watered each plant about 2L each. Pots were dryish, been 8 days since the last watering. (i think its a bit too long for airpots, but plants seem to be ok) This week just adjusted some of the LST ties so the plant can stretch a bit. Also did a very light defoliation (removing dead leaves) and allot of tucking. I replaced the Vivosun Osc Fan due to a reddit post i saw of one being burnt to a crisp, replaced them with the HoneyWell turbo force fans. So far so good. Also moved one of the main fans to the side of the tent trying to setup a cross draft air circ. I have also noticed that the plant is now in pre-flowering and some very nice aromas coming from the plant. (green/Citrus/Sweet) notes. It quite pleasant to be in the tent! :)

Hey guys. I got one plant that showing serious signs of clawing on new and old growth. I was thinking maybe wind burn or nute burn. This is an organic amended soil grow, with slow release nutes. Watered last with pH 6.5. Temps 84-72F.

Hey there Chi , you're right to be worried, there's two things happening here : too much N and overwatering causing root problems. You can tell there's a bit too much N from the slow release nutrients because the leafs are "too dark green" and the tips are starting to burn just a touch. Nothing you can do about that though, just gotta trust your plant to power through ! the main vector causing the clawing is the overwatering though : overwatering causes "water mold" that hurts the roots and that's why you're getting the clawing. You can tell there's overwatering from the 'puffy space between the veins" of the leafs (and the clawing). so to fix most of this you need to break down the problem roots with a chelation agent, for example enzyme, amino acids, or humic and fluvic acids. Then you want to follow a strict wet dry cycle. do these two things and the plant will recover surprisingly quickly ! Hope this helps ! 🚀

Alrighty guys, Day 35ish check the ladies out! Dam! They starting to pack on weight! The main stem is thick as my pinky finger but they are currently short plants. Hoping they will stretch as they develop through the flower phase. Also added fabric pot risers to promote airflow under the pots to help even out the pot drying patterns. Note: I have now learned that my original formula used for the pre soil mix with organic amendments was a bit too hot. I do see dark green leaves with clawing only on one plant. I'm going to dial back the premix to 2-3tbs/gal of media @50/50 mix of the 284 and 444, rather than 4tbs. I may even push for 2tbs and add regular light feeding of calmag for the next grow to help with the heavy coco coir mix soil from promix hgcc line. Lesson learnt, so let's keep pushing hard to get these ladies finished! Also I picked up a bottle of beneficial enzymes to help with root rot for the one droopy plants, however I'm going to apply it to all my plants just for the benefits of a strong root system into flowering. Shouts outside to @LaBOSSANOVA for the quick tips. I'll keep you all updated on ms droppy and the gang. Happy growing freints!

not seeing the yellowing, but could it be nuit burn? they look over watered wait longer to waiter again

Chi_K24commented6 years ago
@Potagonia not sure about nute burn. I am only using gaiagreen dry slow release amendments that was mixed in with the soil on day 1. Used the recommended mix of 4tbs of 50/50 mix of 284/444. Cheers

hi dude...better ton answer you on your diary👍 what kind oy myco do you use ? some are soluble and others are better directly in soil….either by scratching or by holes around ur stem….if you use nutes i recommend to use fungus all 2/3 weeks cause feed the plant reguraly end to break their symbiosis action…. so you made hole 10/15 cm (depend of pots) put a pinch of beneficial and you filled with soil….this allows to fungi to be quicly in contact with roots and be effective without loss… you can take a look on my diary let mother nature do the job on the second Week i explain how fungus lives….and i show later this inoculation 👌 good luck for your grow

@Budofpray, hey! The mycor I am using is already pre-blended into the soil mix from the manufacture! (promix HPCC series), However I do see now that your are supplementing the mycor directly into the soil through holes you poke into the soil which is pretty cool. I am going to give this a try when i can get my hands on some mycor powder. Thank you again for the insight. :)

It was around day 19-21 that I saw a lot of growth in this strain. Right after the LST. I imagine your tent is looking mighty green. :)

@Chi_K24, yeah that absolutely would work, in fact i'm gonna start recommending that to folks : in fact that's what i do - using beneficial bacteria
Chi_K24
Chi_K24commented6 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow, hey thanks for the heads up! Ill deff give it a try! Also do you think i should use some hydrogaurd to introduce some Bacillus bacteria to help with the root rot problem? thank you.
