Threw 15 seeds down and the next day about 10 popped. A day later 4 more popped. I think I messed up on keeping two of the seeds moist because the one that sprouted ended up dying and the last one popped out of the seed but never rooted. We'll see I guess that leaves me 13. I'm not complaining. 😅
By the end of this grow I want to use 9 plants and scrog them, so the others are probably going to flower outside. Shoot, until next week.
Im sorry guys. I skipped around on logging down stuff and taking pictures so im missing inbetween a few days and weeks, but i should be updating more regularly now. Plants looks real good. Giving the girls some nice soft lst. I feel that I may have tied them down i bit early, but its my first time so we will see what happens by harvest.
HUGE growth through week 5. Lovin this Super Skunk and the aroma that comes with it. Its starting to get really stinky. Continued LST everyday and the girls are looking bushy as hell. Excited to see what the ones I bring outside are going to end up like too. I forgot to mention that last week I already took three plants outside that were extremely stunted, Im still not sure what caused it because they all received the same treatment up until i moved them outside. Theyve gotten more growth since then, but stil nowhere near the ladies inside. See you next week!
Well one of the girls is definitely droopy and getting lighter green leaves, but I cant figure out what happened. i know that i underwatered her once because i was busy one day and couldnt make time to water them so i watered a day later and she was the only one that started drooping, but even after i watered she hasnt been reaching for a few days. i try to water when the top is dry before that i watered at least every two to three days. Next water im trying some cal mag im also going to repot them in 5 gallon smart pots in organic soil so ive also been doing a thorough flush of straight purified drinkin water from the store down the road. idk if that couldvw caused it. in anycase i flushed the past 3 waterings and i plan on only watering with drinking water and molasses. hopefully i dont fuck it all up but thats the plan ive been letting a compost of super soil sit for about 3 months now so i hope its ready i may add general organics calmag ive read people use it with their organic grows. wish me luck. haha. and i put up some pics of those stunted plants that i move outside. i havent taken pics of them in the past couple of days but they are startin to flower. . yay. hopefully they turn out nice theyre still on the smaller side but im sure the genetics are cherry so just hope i dont get a bug infestation. haha. been treating them with neem oil. and straight nutes for those gals.😄🤘
Since I am using Fox Farm trio as of now, like I said in my comment, will i be all right flushing and then repotting in super soil and then using an all organic method? Or should i stick to the nutes?
Full organic takes a bit to get going but its possible to switch. This strain is a beast and will survive basically anything. If you switch give her some time to get used to the new nutrients before the flip to flowering.
I did it. I transplanted to my compost, and the girls are loving it. I gave them a little big bloom and calmag and the droopy girl is reaching for the sky now. I saw some slight clawing on some of the girls but I'm going to give them some time to get used to the organics. I posted some shots of the girls I moved outside.. They are looking RIGHTEOUS. Budding!!! I want to post some pics of the buds but you guys gotta wait for next week. 🤘😂 Till later!
Lots of work last week. Added my 6 inch lift so i can sit on a chair and water. but it didnt work out like that i still need to maneuver so i made a long funnel i stick in through the top. I am changing this setup thats for sure. Added the scrog. All the girls are digging the compost. They all evened out to a nice deep green. Ended up flipping the lights last Saturday. So all the pics are Day 5 Flower. how long is transition? haha. Outdoor skunks are looking awesome too, around Day 14 Flower. Although I am having issues with bugs if i dont regularly apply neem oil. Anyone have experience with neem oil? Anyway, cash me ouside, neck week.
Going well, raise the lights about an inch a day. Buds starting to form. These are all Day 11 Flower for the indoor girls. I put up some pics of the ladies outside. Starting to put out some frost. Nice.
Pics are day 70 from seed, day 18 flower. just starting to get some trichome action. whooowee im getting excited. hope the ladies outdoor get done so i can have a tester. i know quality is going to be different but im stoked for that skunk pungency hahah.
Buds fattening. Getting some purple tints. Whoooop! One lady is draining her leaves already, though. I might go back to nutes..... 💩👎I think the super soil I added just wasnt enough. Maybe a 7.5 gallon? Shit, I dont know. Patience is killing me, see you next week!! 😭
Raising the lights seemed to help. I had them at 13" for half the flowering and then they started getting burnt. So now at 16" they seem to be handling the light way better. Also the purple is coming on strong on some. This strain is pretty uniform in height, but the bud structures and colors are all different. I really like the way they're growing, but i wish it stank more.... 😩👎 It does smell like bud, but its not where I was expecting.. Im expecting an increase! 😂🤘
Looking pretty 🔥🔥. More colors coming out. Actually smells pretty dank man. So far so good, couple weeks left to harvest. see you next week people! Peace..
forgot to take pics but strain is zuper dank my exhaust fan was pulling out so much smell its crazy. was runni g a 440cfm. i turned it down to the lowest it would go and the room is straight ridiculous. its a sweet sweet funk that super skunk. straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Do I HAVE to run an exhaust fan that changes the air every 3 minutes or is that just unnecessary? I enter the room everyday and the fan is vacuuming fresh air from outside by blowing out the exhaust end.
Hey brother it all depends on the levels in your tent and what you are trying to attain . I ran mine on a timer and fan speed dial regulated. I had mine going on every 10 min when they were in vegetative and pre flowering.. when they hit flowering to keep the levels good like my heat and humidity I kept her going 24/7 but set the speed of the exhaust fan at a lower level but ran her 24 /7 and it did great it's all about what your girls want it isn't always necessary to run her like that what your doing every three minutes is fine just harder on the fan when you keep tripping her on and off hope that helps at all. Cheers
Everything running smoothly followed some advice with my fan setup. just turning it on for short intervals once every few hours for like 20 minutes by hand and got my temps and humidity down. these flowers are dense as rocks.. also im gonna update this again in a few days i cut the trellis so i could move them around a bit to finish the outer buds better, but im planning on cutting them down tomorrow. i see a good a mount of amber maybe like a 15% on most with a few a little behind barely amber straight cloudy, but different smoke for different folks right? wish i had some trichome shots. ill try and get some tomorrow. haha. till later!!
I will update again once they are dried, trimmed, and i roll and smoke a big fatty for all of you. Stoked!! Didnt wet weigh it because i hung the whole trees up. Hoping for at least a 10 day dry. got a fan indirectly circulating air inside the room they were grown in with the a/c on 24/7. Its hot here. Its already light tight and the conditions to me seem pretty good. humidity sitting at 55 to 65 and temps from 62 to 73 fahrenheit.
