The smaller plant was given to me as a almost dead seedling, (is actually amnesia) so it’s currently about 2 weeks behind, they had ph issues. And have just been repotted. *Appologies for not documenting the first 3 weeks, I only just found this awesome site*

Have flushed the plants right through with ph water no nutrients. They have been under a lot of stress from topping and I believe this has slowed their growth, so I have done the final topping for a while and will stick with lst and defoliation for the moment to give the plants a change to go wild.

After flushing them and defoliation, they have come back looking much more bushy! I’m definitely happy with how they are coming along, though would like to see some more stretching and growth from the smaller plant. They had their first water in 9 days on the 11th

With the pots topped up, the plants are loving the extra airflow/light. I’m just letting them grow freely without topping or any major defoliation, I have defoliated a few older leaves to allow light to certain places. Next week, if the smaller one has caught up, they will go into flowering.

This week I switched to flower! :D The ladies were showing signs of iron deficiency, however I knew that this was actually due to ph changes as my stick broke so I ordered two more, but not soon enough. Anyway towards the end of the week the ph problem has cleared up. The smaller plant is now showing signs of nitrogen def, and I haven’t fed them in a while. So She has been topped up with a little feed. The larger plant has been drinking up water at the speed of light. Lol Have set up a scrog net, and lollipopped the plants in the later days of the week. getting rid of the lower foliage that I suspected earlier on would never make the cut. So next time I will take them off much earlier for more efficient growth. Onwards and upwards!

This week the plants are in their second week of flowering. I have added a second scrog net. The girls are growing fast and drinking a lot, I give them 2l every 3 days unless they say otherwise. I have been tucking them back down everyday to expose more bud sites. However, now the second net is up, I will allow them to flower without too much disturbance. I have done some defoliation of the major fan leaves to allow better light penetration in the canopy. Other than the odd leaf here and there, this is the last major defoliation I will do. Onwards and upwards!

This week the stretch has been in full speed, nugs are popping up all over the place, and I may have accidentally grown an amnesia... Started of the week well, we had some major heat tho this week, high 27.9C. So getting a bit hot but that was soon corrected. And so towards the end of the week we’ve had lower temperatures of 24/25C. The Plants were highly defoliate for the final time. This is to allow maximum light & airflow penetration. Have got some bud candy, bud factor X and big bud in the way for next week. So I’ll be pumping them up for the final month before flushing.

This week they are filling out everywhere! They’ve got their leaves back and now they are expanding sideways :D Iv finally got through the extra nutrients I wanted to try. Bud factor x, Big bud and Bud candy all by AN. I have done well and maybe only taken 3 leaves of this week lol. I turned the light 90 degrees to get better coverage. The plants responded well to this. I can see signs of phosphorus deficiency, however towards the end of the week I also see signs of nute burn, so on Sunday they where watered at ph6.3 with no added nutrients.

This week they have been fattening up! The mango had some nutrient burn, so has been on flush this week, but the amnesia has continued its normal feeding routing. Fyi, the smaller plant smells exactly like amnesia so that’s what I’m going with. She is defo showing signs of the traditional 12week flowering period that comes with ammy. Anyway they are responding well, we did have some major heat issues but never peaked over 27C so I’m not too concerned, but I do like 24/25 if I can. Been thinking about buying an air con, but at this time of year they are all expensive. Might wait it out till next time... Thank you for engaging with my growing journey, until next week!

This week has been a constant battle of keeping the humidity down but also the temperature. I really need to get an AC. The mango is showing more signs of nutrient burn even after a couple of flushes throughout this week. Slow but steady progression. The amnesia is showing some abnormal lead twisting. Also she would be a prime suspect for bud rott so I’m checking them daily. All is good tho and they are getting fatter by the day!

Grow Questions

I have 2 feeds left before I start the 3 week flush. With the state of the nutrient burn, do you think I should start flush now? Or feed half usual nutes for the last 2 feeds? Her leaves will die anyway during flush so that why I'm not so well worried about the nutrient burn.
Solved
Leaves. Edges burnt

Hey there I would stop feeding now and just give plain water. The nutrients are built up in the soil so it will take several days at least for the plant to use those nutrients to begin with. I would just give your normal waterings and on flush day give them an extra amount of water to start flushing the excess salts and nutrients out of the soil. Hope this helps. Great job on those!

This week they are coming along great! Fattening up and smelling sweet! So may trichomes too :D I have ordered another light so the amnesia can fatten up too. They are dense! My humidity is fairly high at 50%, but I have been use tea trea oil constantly which helps kill any possible mould spores by latching on to the moisture particles in the air, The same ones the the mould spores need to thrive. This is the last week before flushing, she has had one feed so far but will be getting water Ph to 6.35. The amnesia is a little slower so will have the usual feed.

This week the girls have officially started flush! The colours are coming out left, right and centre. Next time tho, I will leave more leaves on at the start of flowering. I think my bud rott paranoia took over a bit hahahah. But still, they are super frosty dense and smell so sweet! I can’t wait!

This is looking like the final week on the mango, they are 2 weeks into flush now and the colours are so vibrant! I am off on holiday in September and need ten days to dries these before hand, so I maybe forced to crop next week Friday. We will see how it goes. I have been checking the plants all over for milky and amber trichomes. So far I can say the mango has about 80% milky 15% clear and 5% amber..... she's not far off 🤤. The amnesia has about 75% milky 24% clear and 1% amber. These do vary between top and bottom of plants of course. But take them as an average. The amnesia is sooooo fat! And I am in love with tho colours of the mango. Will keep you all updated and add some proper photos of the final plants on harvest (without L.E.D light), that will all be next week. See you then!

This grow was great! Ended up with two different strains, and was my first ever time doing a complete indoor grow. The scrog net and lst training methods were new to me, but a great learning curve! Will be posting more updates after curing, I have not tried to smoke much as am really eager to taste them once they have matured. Was so much fun growing this time round and always finding ways to improve my practices. Now they will cure for the next 4-6 weeks. Thank you everyone for tuning in. There will be more coming soon :D Happy growing! Update: 2 weeks into curing and they are coming along great! The amnesia is a beautiful contrast to the mango. Some of the smoothest smoke I have ever had! I just got back from Amsterdam and 9/10 of the bud there isn’t flushed properly. So coming back to this was a real pleasure! I recommend both strains to the fullest. They are fun to grow and you have a lot of time to work with them :) top
