Notorious THC Living Soil

ThatDudesDad Using the bottom feed wick system was pulling way too much water. Let her dry back. Minimal defoliation. Removed hydroton. Was contributing to soil moisture. Topped in week 3. Only filling reservoir 50%. She is drinking normal. Topped dressed and watered in.

ThatDudesDad Plant looks great. 4 days into 12/12. Filling the Vivosun Flex-Feed self watering pot with 1 gal plain water every 2 days. The goal is to keep about an inch of space between base and water. Also waiting a day when base is empty before refilling. They do work awesome but there are some tricks and items to look out for.

ThatDudesDad Water only this week. Unless the plant says otherwise. Implementing Cronk PuurOrganics slowly. I’m very happy. Minimal work. Stretching nicely but not too much. Lights at about 35DLI. VPD has been steady at 1.2-1.8. No defoliation. Not needed yet. Will have a better idea in week 3 of flower after I get some plants out and have more room.

ThatDudesDad Removed bottom 3rd. Drenched with compost tea. Noticed tips on top of plant were burning from lights. Plant was doing a lot of praying. Raised lights and dimmed a bit. Yellowing on bottom leaves but hardly at all. Budlets starting. I have high hopes for this one.

ThatDudesDad Having a lot of issues. I feel like I’m underfeeding. Yellowish leaves. Small uniform bronze spots top if plant only. Seems to be growing slow. Using a bottom feed wicking system and she is drinking. I. Usually let reservoir go dry for a day if I’m top feeding. I need help.

ThatDudesDad Amazingly plant is starting to recover from the bottom up. Listened to a lot of the GD community and made several adjustments. Root temp, switched to top feed only. Challenging to stay ahead of the game in a soil grow. New to this process. Still getting it dialed in but I’m optimistic about getting her to harvest. Still ugly, but I love her. Lol
