@Fast_Buds, @@motaman311. ok I am convinced...HEAVY WATER LET DRY...so #8 which showed trouble so I flushed her and fed everything else one day last week....but I decided to feed #8 the following day....so #8 was not on schedule any longer....as I started the FLOOD SLOW DRAIN AND DRY METHOD FOR COCO...The McNugget Technique ;~] anyway #8 was like a feather yesterday she still looked great standing up all proud tits sticking out straight....so I said well everyone else is still pretty heavy....so I waited and waited...then I finally watered everything 6.75 GALLONS ON 8 PLANTS IN 5 GALLON FABRIC POTS....well they loved it...after several hours right before lights out they did start to droop a bit I watered a bit early on 7 of the 8 plants...when the lights came on after 8 hours off they were droopy then also and puffy...BUT THEY GREW THAT WAS CLEAR with the naked eye....AGAIN I WOULD HAVE WAITED TILL TODAY...but I wanted everyone on the same schedule today....after about 2-3 hours of light they all perked up and show no signs of over watering....which I expected based on their weight before I watered yesterday....now they are not puffy or tips curled or droopy at all....they will get probably another 48hrs before I flood them again....THEY LOVED IT....FLOOD SLOW DRAIN AND DRY COCO TECH...you heard it here first!!!!

@Fast_Buds, @@motaman311. yup got it was LOW PH LEVELS FOR SURE THAT WAS LOCKING OUT CALCIUM...this diary will be a good reference to diagnosing and fixing calcium deficiency....there should be a list of diaries IF PEOPLE actually showed their problems and fixed them that should be archived for references....PH PROBLEM HERE FOR SURE....the damage to the plants I couldn't prevent after it started... BUT #4 IS LOOKING GREAT AGAIN....THE OTHER BITCHES ARE BLOWING UP.....places importance on a ACCURATE Ph METER...worth the investment to buy a PRO LEVEL Ph METER if someone is going to grow professionally....

Of Sales & Marketing I was using their SEA MIX Coco...he then asked me about what else I was using....I told him and he said "CAN YOU DO A SIDE BY SIEDE???" I SAID YEAH I HAVE A 4X8 TENT I CAN DO A SIDE BY SIDE....he says "HERE DO A SIDE BY SIDE WITH MY NUTRIENT LINE" he shoves the ENTIRE BOX everything in the CYCO PLATINUM LINE UP...minus the Ryzofuel Supa Sticky Grow XL & Kleaner…..ALL QUARTS LIKE $350 in nutrients...FOR FREE....so the Fast Buds Girl Scout Cookies will have a SIDE BY SIDE GROW OFF....using my system I developed now vs CYCO....not a bad deal for a free tub of Nutrients....12 quarts of nutrients...HEY BOSTON....check out the Silica from CYCO....even better then the Armor Si....you might like some of these things....GET TO SEE GHE ARMOR SI CaliMagic, NIRVANA, BUD CANDY, DIAMOND NECTAR, & FLORA TRIO BATTLE CYCO in a head to head side by side grow off....SHOULD BE A GOOD TEST OF BOTH SYSTEMS.....

@@motaman311, hey thanks bro...I chose your answer since you didnt say I was over watering….I was probably starving them which caused my deviancy problems....girls are looking SO GOOD NOW...#2 & #4 she was the one who got me worried....SHE IS GOING TO BE MOTHER F'ING HUGE...SHE IS 24-25 INCHES and getting ready to start her stretch...yeah I for sure slowed them down...MAYBE IT WAS THE 24HR LIGHT CYCLE??? either way this is the FUN PART watching the buds get bigger,,#5 & 6 are not what they should have been but I think they will be some serious fatty's...which is the name of the restaurant I want to open some day...called FATTY'S...sell Fatty burritos and burgers....im so hoping for a HUGE RESULT....I HOPEFULLLY will get to my needed results….but looking like I might pull more then I expected....it'd be nice to cover costs and pull some personal the first time....well im not going to give it away....

@Fast_Buds, @@motaman311. well its my birthday, and I woke up to some really nice plants....#3 & #7 are just looking awesome...the top colas are puffing up the side colas are starting to show signs of stacking and puffing on the tops more...#2 & #4 are right behind them they are both climbing fast and just getting into flowering....#5 I didnt do the best job with training might have taken to much ff??? but THE BUDS ARE GOING TO BE DENSE...#5 will have some serious colas not as many as #3, 7, 2, & 4 but should produce at least three really FAT TOPS...#8 is the same as #5 and #6 also is looking really nice...up to 24 inches on #3, 7, & 8 while #2, 4, 5, & 6 are not far behind....#1 is still a bit shorter but growing fast and will be the late bloomer...based on where she is now she will be like #3 & #7.....#4 is interesting since she had the worst of the problems from bad ph levels showing the deficiencies early and through most of veg....she was the same as #3 before the Deficiencies hit her....now she looks almost identical just a few inches shorter....and of course she was topped...but I think I have two clear phenome types #2, 3, 4, 7, and then #1, 5, 6, 8 this is also strange since they are on the outside??? could be less light? but they seem to have the same appearance like 2, 3, 4, & 7 do.....bummer they are not ready yet...but looking at it I am going to win Newbie of the month for sure once I harvest...looking more like 3/4th a pound but maybe more...hell might even get a diary of the month award out of it also??? need a better camera with a flash first though....

Well they are all done...#1 gets trimmed tomorrow....#2 VERY IMPRESSIVE 3 TOTAL OUNCES TIGHTLY TRIMMED....109 bucked untrimmed....#4.....158 grams bucked untrimmed...STILL A GOOD PORTION TO GO...but THREE FULL TIGHTLY TRIMMED OUNCES...should get one more....GOT OVER A POUND UNTRIMMED BUCKED WEED....#8 I didn't like so much so LARF & ALL OF #8 about 170 grams got DRY ICE KIEFED....that yielded a really nice ounce of hash......total was 590+- untrimmed....not bad got like 12 ounces trimmed...plus an ounce of hash.....will be pressing that further.....#1 will yield at least ONE REALLY TASTY OUNCE....not bad first grow....I THINK CYCO MIGHT HAVE MADE THE DIFFERENCE...photos and final harvest post in a few days.....I MIGHT GO USE A NUG SMASHER AND MAKE SOME ROSEN OUT OF #2????? maybe....#4 great smoke too....#2 great smoke but doesn't have the more floral sweet fruity terpene profile like 6 and 4.....7-6-4 are the best....started next grow GSC side by side NUTRIENT challenge....I Might do some fastberry with them?????? Ill mention all weights and what I learned plus and minus's VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINAL RESULT.....like I always have said first mistake everyone males is to tale things to early....clearly I should have pumped #5 up longer.....not bad though over 12 ounces of good tightly trimmed very smokable weed and ounce of hash....FIRST TRY $1000 BUDGET GROW ….i'd say SUCCESSFUL NEWBIE EFFORT....O'yeah main cola #8 top 7-8 inches...13.3 grams...2 and 4 are so much denser...THATS WHAT THE EXTRA TIME DID FOR THEM ...HARDENED AND ADDED LOTS OF WEIGHT...VERY STICKY...

@@motaman311, O'my god you would not believe the HOUSE FLY invasion I have had....NOT IN THE TENT AT ALL...the main drain clogged about the same time the flys started showing up....but I knew the drain was clogging two weeks ago....all of a sudden out of no place there were more and more and more and more flys...I MEAN A FUCKING SHIT LOAD AND THEN SOME...a blind person could have swatted them if you pointed them in the right direction....then I took out the screens and opened th windows...AND THEY ALL FLEW AWAY....there were none until the next morning again...but quite a lot less....so I let them out again...now I have them all gone....THEY ARE NOT SHOWING UP AS FAST....BUT THEY ARE STILL HERE....I WILL TAKE PHOTOS OF THE HUNDREDS ON THE FLY PAPER AND POST IT NEXT WEEK....I mean fucking covered......BUT THEY ONLY WANT THE LIGHT....my bathroom is open a crack and the light is on 24hrs....it has a fly paper by the light that reflected off of it.....IT WORKS GREAT....they were attracted to the light and died....ILL FIGURE IT OUT...but they want nothing to do with the tent....hell they might have eaten shit I cant see??? BUDS ARE LOOKING REALLY NICE....#3,5 & 7 are really filling in and bulking up....#7 looks so nice....#3 is looking great...#5 STUBBY is getting fatter and fatter.....#1 the runt is the size of #3 now...#2 & 4 are looking super nice....FLOWERING MUCH FASTER...then #3, 5, & 7 when they started to really flower....so you figure THE BUDDING HAD JUST STARTED WHEN I ADDED THE BUD CANDY & NIRVANA.....but it was already slow to get there for Auto's.....now that there are more supplements its going even better sicne the others REALLY STREATCHED right at the Nirvana & Bud Candy....the others already finished their stretch....but now I decided to switch....I HAVE THE FREE CYCO LINE UP SO WHY NOT USE IT??? my diary says I am still using the mix I have listed...but I changed to the CYCO system....about 680ppm 6.4ph so I have to adjust it down to 6.0 starting with 6.0 R/0 water...but I dont have the Ryxofuel Supa Sticky and I didnt use the Grow XL....im going to get the Supa Sticky for the Monday feeding....and Ryzofuel is only Tasmanian Kelp, and I have that in the CYCO SEAMIX already...and the Zyme will break that down to be absorbed by the plant....THEY DO LOOK BETTER WITH CYCO....they really do....and I am at NEARLY FULL STRENGTH....1ml/l I say is 4ml/g but then I mix say 3 or 4 gallons and say 4ml/g times 3 is 12 so I would use 11ML in the 3 gallons...to take off for the 0.22ml of a gallon lost on each gallon since the conversion is 3.78L per Gallon....BUT THEY ARE LOOKING REALLY NICE.....#5 has some nice photos....and I got the VIDEO uploaded from the week I could not get to upload....INTERNET BLEW A TIRE ON TUESDAY NIGHT....got fixed on Thursday...SOME OF THE LARF GOT LOLLY POPPED....and yes of course I trimmed it and dried it......not very much just the stuff that had to be removed from the bottom....BUT I HAVE GOTTEN A IDEA OF WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE....IT DOES SMELL LIKE CANDY....

@Fast_Buds, @@@motaman311. whelp the flood and drain in coco seems to be working....I have clear bud formations starting on the plants....actually really good growth on that last 24 hours of the 72 hours before nearly a gallon per plant....7 GALLONS ON 8 PLANTS IN 5 GALLON FABRIC POTS......NOW THATS evenly and slowly distributed....with a chemical pump sprayer with the tip removed....very even watering to all parts of the pot...#3 ate a gallon and hardly had any run off....just sucked it all up....they were all light before watering #3 the biggest overall was a tiny bit heavier....BUT I AM CONVINCED this is my technique no matter who says it is wrong....at least until I have a plant that says otherwise....GREAT NEWS GOT MY OFFICIAL LETTER OF CONFORMATION I AM A LEGAL CULTIVATOR IN THE STATE OF MISSOURI....not a second to late since HEMP is legal federally under the 2017 food bill and I am just now starting to flower......really good growth on the tops the side lowers are stretching up to table top them selves....next time with GSC I will let 4 go with defoliation and 4 I am going to main line like 76's youtube videos...wish I had seen that before I messed with my plants would have tried it this time...but it was two days to late....still a long way to go...but a short time to get there...confident I should get a decent result for my first try....one pound would be great...half would be acceptable...but I could easily get more...based on what I have seen even a SHORTY from Fast Buds can still pull 2 zips no problem....so I am hoping for maybe a pound and a half...that would be really nice...hen I could Dry Ice myself some serious vapor pens and dabs....of course keep the best flowers as they are....

@Fast_Buds. well it seems I made the right choice....everyone says to much water to much water....I WAS PLANNING ON A LOT MORE WATER THEN I HAVE USED.....so I decided to flush with a full nutrient solution...ABOUT 740TDS/PPM everyone loved it NOTHING DROPPED AT ALL...put around 3/4th of a gallon on each plant....IT TOOK THAT MUCH TO GET A DECENT RUN OFF from the 5 gallon fabric pots...THAT I CUT SEVERAL HOLES IN THE BOTTOM OF JUST IN CASE....they all loved it....#8 I flushed with FloraClean but I noticed a better response from the other plants...only #8 was a typical FLUSH....people are so wrong about to much water...getting everything soaked and then letting it dry out is much better then just watering a little thinking it is enough....now I will wait maybe 72hrs for the next watering and do the same FLOOD AND DRY....#8 WOW I tested the run off yesterday....very low PH and a reasonable TDS...today I said PHUQ IT, and gave her a full nutrient flush....the run off was a staggering 2400+ PPM/TDS the PH was still pretty low....I have not gotten much if any at all run off on any of my watering's….I AM GOING TO GO BACK TO WHAT I INTENDED TO DO.....SURE THEY ARE PRETTY WET....but I have never seen a plant of any kind grow well in DRY SUBSTRATE....typical...so 3/4th a gallon each plant full strength 740PPM/TDS loved it....even #8 didnt droop after the heavy watering...I have probably been under watering them the entire time....looking pretty good....hoping for some stretch now that I am entering flowering.....NOT BAD almost 6 weeks in veg....I THINK THE 24HR LIGHT EFFECTS THE AUTOS....since 18/6 is what is recommended....ID SAY FOR HEAVY TRAINING 24hr light recommended.....fast to the finish 24hr for 3 weeks then 18/6 start of week 4 NOTHING BUT DEFOLIATION....that will be my Technique for the next grow with Fast Buds GSC....I can see I will get WHAT I NEED...but I sure hope I get WHAT I WANT still.....pretty happy with the genetics...I have caused some serious stress had some early low PH probably had some nasty salt build up until yesterday....AND THEY LOOK PRETY DAMN GOOD!!!!

@Ganjagrandaddy, I have a question for you...what do you think about adding "Diamond Nectar" from GHE to my Armor Si 1ml/g, CalMag 4ml/g, Nirvana 6ml/g, Bud Candy 6ml/g, Ripen 1ml/g, Flora Micro 4ml/g, Flora Bloom 6ml/g...should I add the Diamond Nectar??? for the "A popular flowering enhancer, General Hydroponics Diamond Nectar is a combination of humic and fulvic acid that enhances the growth of your plants and helps to keep the healthy. Soluble humates – fulvic and humic acid – are naturally occurring plant growth enhancers that improve the uptake and transport of nutrients in" for the (Humic & Fulvic Acids????) through budding???? I am right around 700 PPM now...thats after adding 1 more ml per gallon of the Flora Bloom.....

@Fast_Buds, @@motaman311.got week 7 updated...showing really good consistent growth here in the early flower stage...a few plants are really starting to show their stacking formations...while internodes are not over separating but I am still getting stretch about an inch a day....up to 18-21 inches on 7 of 8 plants....#1 is still behind but growing up fast...she will finish last for sure...HEAVY DELOLIATION on day-48 after heavy watering, BUT they blew up again by mid day Day-49...dropped lights to 18 inches making daily adjustments now to keep it 18-19 inches from tops...still going heavy water, they are drying up almost totally in under 72 hours from nearly a gallon each...I tired that 73 hours was to much time to let them dry out...about every 60 hours 7 gallons on 8 plants...I might need to increase that to 1 gallon per plant or even move up to half gallon every 36 hours???.....they are looking good....I HOPE THEY KEEP INCHING UP THATS ALL COLAS RIGHT THERE...be another week before they are really starting to form up...BUT CLEARLY THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY....feeling confident I can get through the next 4-6 weeks

@Fast_Buds, @@@motaman311. well I dropped the lights to 18 inches after 24 inches looked like it was helping...and now 18 is not looking like it is causing any problems …..as a matter of fact my analog thermometer shows one degree cooler now being right under the center of the tent in full light......some good bud formations going on clearly they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.....was a bit worried for a minute....but lowering the lights and maybe a day after defoliation brought the girls back into spec.....everything is shooting up to around 18 inches...maybe I did to much to early on??? but I think I should at least get a decent head stash to et me through the second grow....#3 & 7 look great #8 I should have kept down a bit longer...I let her up before the training took the effect I needed it to....#6 who looked really space after my heavy defoliation a couple week ago is looking REALLY STRONG.... 4 maybe 5 tops all fighting for the top of the ladder...#1 is shooting up and #2 is about where #6 is....@4 hit hardest with the DEF issues and was neck and neck with #3 before that is looking really nice now....#5 has some really nice formations going on......I am thinking that the lights were maybe to high to get budding going earlier???? but who knows I got to excited and probably did to much....but they are making me proud right now.....next grow GSC from Fast Buds I will take 2 girls and do nothing , 2 girls will get defoliation, 2 girls will get LST & defoliation, & two girls will get Main Lines like "LUCKY 75'S" WITH DEFOLIATION.....I SHOLD HAVE STUCK TO MY GAME PLAN THIS GROW BUT O'WELL IM A MEWBIE....at least I am enjoying my new favorite thing to do....well maybe besides eating the mushrooms I have grown in the past.... ;~]

start of week 5 I have started watering 0.125 gallons of water every 36 hours, mixing the solution in this order and contents the result using R/O/ water starting at 6.11 is a solution that finishes at Ph 6.07 pretty much right back where it started with out using any Ph up or down...1ml Armor Si, 4ml CaliMagic, 6ml Nirvana, 2ml Bud Candy, 4ml FloraMicro, 1ml FloraGrow, & 4ml FloraBloom, The Armor Si from GHE I highly recommend or using some other form of SILICA...very important to the plants help in many ways from cell structure, to pest resistance, hot & cold resistance, and works to defend against pathogens...also helps the plants to deal with stress and the regulation uptake and distribution of available nutrients to the roots as well as the entire plant....not necessary in most soil grows...BUT HIGHLY RECOMENDED for all soilless and hydro grows….I should have started using the 1ml/g of Armor Si from day one....did some more minor defoliation and some very light LST on a couple plants just to get direct light to all the bud sites...they are starting to stretch a little bit and should be auto-flowering by the end of this week which will be this coming Wednesday...….I am in the belief that the 24hr light schedule has prevented the auto's from pre-flowering and showing pistils in the 4th week....THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE TRUE???? but 24hr light may add a week or a week and a half to vegetative state???? I am looking to run these ladies out to week 10-12 total before harvest....possibly longer if needed....will update Wednesday with more SLIDE SHOW day by day videos....Week 5 will just have one photo per plant per day all in order of plants and days...not quite a time lapse but the best I can do right now with what I have to work with....Plant #3 has been named Manhattan as #3 looks as if it will have a bunch of skyscrapers and one tower that stands above them all...

*********ALMOST FORGOT********* I dont like Editing the diary it causes problems....BUT I WILL BE ADDING BOTH ADVANCED NUTRIENTS NIRVANA & BUD CANDY as soon as they arrive....my local stores dont sell Advanced Nutrients??? but Amazon does...I usually buy from the local store since they pretty much match Amazons prices on Nutes and some other things….a few items I can not afford at the RETAIL STORE PRICE.....

Ok Day-13 now...I figured out my little issue....with #4 I finally found the right information....seems I was suffering from Calcium deficiency in the one plant #4....based on the description and photos almost a perfect match.....plus after I was OVER FEEDING them from day 4 through day 8 makes perfect sense....I also raised my Ph to 6.2 for the watering to help draw more of the Calcium into the plants....based on what I read I should not see any difference in the damage on the leaves already...but I should not see any more leaves get damaged or become more damaged....should take a week to know for sure....#4 is pretty much the leader of the pack of 8 so it is reasonable that #4 could have a calcium deficiency since I am using R/O water in Coco....the other 7 bitches are doing fine...will be posting WEEK-2 tomorrow after noon....PLEASE TUNE IN I HAVE SOME REALLY NICE DAY BY DAY SORT OF TIME LAPSE ON ALL 8 PLANTS IN THE SLIDE SHOWS I PUT TOGETHER.....AND ALWAUS REMEMBER TO KEEP POPP'IN....I'm about 95% sure it was calcium deficiency....I also had ONE new leaf on #3 the 2nd largest that was my first non-cemeterial leaf....that is also a sign of calcium deficiency according to what I was reading.... the information stated that was also a sign of calcium deficiency along with the spotting on #4....

Congrats on the harvest man. Looks like a solid yield with some great looking buds!! Did you use bud candy on all the plants and if you didn't did you notice a difference?

Some really happy and healthy ladies you got there. Great work. Also love all the detail you put into your diaries and weekly updates. Diaries like this are some of the most benifical tools for other growers. Keep up the great work both in the garden and here on your diary.
