Kapisto Ok, let’s go :) First time grower here, so I expect many mistakes and hopefully some valuable learnings. I prepared my 10L fabric pots, mixed Light-Mix with a bit more perlite, and poured in 2 liters of water to make it wet. Waited a bit and planted the seeds with approx 3mm long taproots (unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of that). On top of that, I just put a quick “shot” of water mixed with Voodoo Juice. Nothing more, just waiting now...

Kapisto Nothing much happened this week. I'm just trying to keep the temperatures and humidity as stable as possible. The LED light is currently running at 25%. I removed the plastic humidity bottles since their first true leaves are already getting bigger. The third sloooow seed is finally catching up 🙂.
I only watered once during this time, it took about 10 days from the initial soak for the pots to feel light again. Every pot got 0.5l of water with Voodoo Juice and B-52.
So far, so good 😊

Kapisto They started to grow very quickly this week. Beginning of week increased light to 33%, end of the week 45%. Watered every 4th day 0.5l with Voodoo Juice (2ml/l) and B-52 (1.5ml/l). No base nutes yet. Turned on Diffuse Air fan to strengthen stems. Environment stable at 24-25.°C and 64-66% RH. Plants look happy I hope haha. Waiting for the 5th node to start LST, maybe next week.

Kapisto Increased the light to 50% this week and upped watering to 1L every 3–4 days. B-52 and Voodoo Juice remain the same. Did some LST on the two bigger girls, while leaving the smaller one untouched to compare the progress. Very curious to see how they will turn!

Kapisto This week was quite interesting! I started using watering pods and realized the girls are drinking way more than I used to give them. I think this is the last week of veg since I can already see some white pistils on the stems. The leaf tips turned a bit light, so I only gave them RO water with Cal-Mag this week. I adjusted the LST, trimmed a few leaves, and bumped the light to 75%. So far so good, hopefully everything keeps running smoothly! haha..

Kapisto This week was full of action again haha. They’re drinking almost 1L per day now, refilling the pods every 2-3 days. Had a small calcium issue on one girl, hopefully fixed with CalMag now. Still fighting burnt tips a bit. I realized my DLI was way too high, so I moved the light further away to 40cm. DLI is around 40 now, so let's see in the coming days. We also got hit by a crazy heatwave, humidity was jumping to almost 80% at night. Hope it stays under control now. Other than that, the girls look super happy and are growing like crazy :). Little bud sites are popping up, hope that stretch will be ending soon :)

Kapisto Not much happened this week! Still fighting the burnt tips a bit, but it's getting much better on the new growth. The stretch is pretty much finished I think, the girls are barely growing taller anymore. Cleaned up a few yellow bottom leaves to open up airflow. Keeping it like this and we should be good haha!
BTW, one girl is drinking way less than the other two (younger one). Hope it won't be an issue, we'll see in a couple of weeks!
Aah, and one last thing, the heatwave is finally done, but rain is on the way, which means a humidity roller coaster this week… can't wait!

Kapisto Big milestone this week, the tent is finally starting to smell amazing haha! The stretch is officially done, the girls didn't grow a single cm. The dehumidifier is running 24/7 to keep RH under 60% with all the rain outside. Cleaned up some yellow bottom leaves on one girl... I read somewhere that the last two weeks are the longest six weeks of a man's life, so we're waiting haha…
Quick stats: the girls are drinking a steady 1L per day. For the yellowing one, I switched back to top watering as I had a feeling she wasn't drinking from the bottom for some reason, IDK why… Temps are more or less stable, max 27°C with the dehumidifier at its peak, min 22°C when the girls sleep. Humidity sometimes jumps over 70%, but I'm trying to keep it under 60%, or even lower. I hope the airflow will do its job! :)

Kapisto This week's entry will be short. Not much happened, except for one big thing. The smell is getting stronger every day :)! Smells amazing for sure :D. Aaand I have a feeling the carbon filter isn't catching all the smell, as I can sometimes catch it outside haha.
Regarding stats, I'm keeping temps and humidity as stable as possible. A lot of the pistils are already turning brown, so I think I'll start checking the trichomes very soon! Maybe 20 days to cut?

Kapisto Another week passed and time for another entry. I’d say not much dramatic is happening day to day, buds are stacking up nicely and starting to look really pretty. The smell is amazing, and they’re drinking a stable 1L per day.
For the upcoming week, I’m adjusting the feeding schedule. I noticed a bit of nitrogen clawing (or I think it is because of Nitrogen) on new leaves and a bit too much foliage in the buds. I'm feeding them every other watering from begining (50% nutes one watering, then plain RO water with CalMag the next), but I’ll cut the base A+B nutes in half again to tone down the Nitrogen. Let's hope it will help.
Did my first trichome check with the loupe. If I'm looking correctly it's around 50% clear and 50% cloudy on the main buds. Sugar leaves have some amber there and there already. There are almost no new white pistils popping up, so the end is near! I'm aiming for a nice daytime (nearly 100% milky to avoid couch-lock), so I'm estimating maybe 2 weeks until harvest haha. Just keep it like this and I’ll be happy :D

Kapisto So, this week's update will be a bit more chaotic than usual. I'm a bit lost this time around haha! Every day I'm looking inside the cabinet, thinking about what to do :D. One girl is fully ready, the second one is almost there, and the last one is still a bit further behind. (Temp and humidity are stable, trying to hold same as possible)
I started the flush with Flawless Finish for the first two, while the last one got one final light feeding. Just experimenting to see what brings the best outcome.
The first girl will be chopped in the coming days. As for the other two... no idea yet, we'll see how they progress...
nice grow, funny I'm having troubles with my Gelato Auto and looking at Diaries of this strain, tip burn seems non negotiable. It's like 7/10 Gelato Grow that shows tip burning and with mine, i feel, weirdly enough, becomes deficient at the end of the stretch 🤷🏻♂️
@Kapisto My first also "officially", especially with autos. I'm at day 61, probably around 2-3 left. I'm late on my diarie, but i've also been through some trouble, and as a good beginner, I blame the seed 😂 I got 4 Gelatos, they flowered at very distant days from each other so I struggle to ifentify the right timing for nutrtients, I decided to follow the one that seem will yeald the most, and hopefully the others wont be too impacted if the feeding don't exactly match. I will update my journal this weekend. 🏻
@Kapisto Have too symptoms on ly leaves, wich I think are distinct as they're different in shape and where they appear. Found one pest, checked EVERY leaves after, did not find any other. They still look good to me, I do think i did not do a good job with lollipoping, probably will end up with same yeld but with lots of small and mid sized buds.
@HuiArii, Looking forward to your diary! In that first picture, I had the same issue couple of weeks ago, CalMag fixed it (I'm a big expert now haha). But honestly, your girls look amazing.
Btw, I decided not to cut any lower branches just to see if it's worth keeping them, and I can tell you now: some could definitely be chopped. Point number two, lollipopping: I was scared to strip more than just a few leaves, which was a mistake too :D It looks like a real jungle around some of the buds. We'll see about the total yield later.
Last point, one of my girls suddenly started yellowing like a crazy overnight yesterday, so I think the end is very close (day 72 from sprout today, while FastBuds says 9 weeks). How do you distinguish milky / clear trichomes? I feel like I'm milk-blind because the only ones I can clearly spot are amber lol!
@Kapisto, I invite you to follow my diaries 😅😅. You should do an LST. She's starting to bush out to free up the other branches underneath. Optimize the yield.
