Purple kush from unknown breeder. I've grown this strain in soil before but it's my first stab at dwc. I've noticed this strain likes to be cool even in veg and needs less nutrients or it grows real funky leaves. Leaves the size of your head though when healthy. Great lemon earthy smell and kushy taste.
Growth like I've never seen on the 2 front gals and the back one is straggling. 2 soil plants that need transplanting badly. Switched to the real light finally
Actual nutrient amounts given this week. Girls are frosting nicely and buds are smelling amazing! Been fighting a weird October warm spell the last week and they have a touch of heat burn.
The girls are a few days into week 6 and budding nicely. Although being a late bloomer and small to medium yield, this strains thc level and taste are worth it.
Start of week 7! Loading up on Crystal and finally starting to bulk. This strain loves to wait until almost death to Amber her crystals and get big for some reason
Getting sticky like glue and fattening nicely. Starting flush in 2 days. I've read to flush Dwc anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks so I'm going to shoot for a week-10 days.
Started flush 5 days ago and I think about 5 more and it's harvest time! Definitely not my favourite strain but looking forward to the smoke. Came in to check this morning and found one of the ladies had every branch fall over. Starting to get ultra gluey
This strain tested me on all levels for the second grow. Ended up with very small yield, small to medium buds but tastes amazing and gets me ripped already. Dried in 7 days and just started 3 week cure.
This grow was really just to learn dwc and I'm happy with the results even from this strain. Next round I'm getting serious and growing some different strains. Stay tuned!0
@jhawk, not a dumb question at all, I have very limited space and sketching about setting it below water level without check valves. I also like to be able to move everything if I have to.
@Mcblazingninja,a fast flowering strain then 8 to 9 weeks mine have been finishing at 11 lately even 9 week strains lol but if she taking her time she putting more in to them big buds for you
