Day 0: I started this seed by inoculating in URB for 25 min before moving to a jiffy pellet that had been soaking in 6.3 pH water. I placed it under my T5 shelf setup for seeds/clones. Inoculating in URB is supposed to potentially pop the seed in as little as 2 days. I’m excited to grow this strain, since it has the highest THC content of anything I have grown yet! I’ll be using the 2-part Emerald Harvest line again and when it comes time for 7 gallon fabric pots, I’m going to buy some new ones. The buildup is pretty bad in the ones I’ve been using. I suspect I’ll veg for 9-10 weeks and then flower for another 9-10 depending on how she performs.
Day 3: it has begun and we have liftoff! Time for the gamma rays to do their thing with this beastly strain!
Day 4: she’s stretching for the sky! I put her in a solo cup with Happy Frog soil and moved her under my led veg setup.
Day 7: things are off to a good start. I have her under two platinum led p150s with only the veg switches on. It’s a closet setup until I harvest one of the tents. Then the closet will be a drying area. It’s a bit warm in there right now with zero air flow. I’ll be adding a small fan soon. Spraying with cal-mag foliar spray and going light on the watering.
Day 15: she is really taking off now under the LEDs. I did a light feeding a few days ago and and still letting them dry out. A little warmer that I want at 85 degrees, but they don’t seem to mind.
Day 22: transplanted to 1 gal fabric pots yesterday and hit the soil with 30ml URB (for transplanting) and 10ml of Molasses for Plants as food for the URB microbes. She is growing strong and looking very healthy!
Day 29: this plant is a beast!! I can’t believe how much she grew in just a week being in the 1gal pot. The node spacing is much greater than I wanted since it’s going to be difficult to scrog now. Trying to figure out the best way to do that now. I may have to bury her up to her neck! I harvested my Dinafem run last night, so I moved them into the tent out of the hot closet.
Day 50: Definitely growing strong! I’m not sure what the speckles on the older larger fan leaves, but the new growth looks super healthy. I’ve been working some LST tie downs to shape more of a bush for the scrog. Onward!
Day 54: did some tie downs today to spread out the canopy a bit better.
Day 57: installed the screen two days ago and turned both veg and bloom switches on and did a major defol under the canopy to get as much light penetration as possible. A couple more weeks and it will be flower time!!
Day 64: starting week 10 if veg now. I went back to veg lightninlt and raised the led to 24”. I was a bit closer than that and with both switches on, they didn’t seem to care for the extra heat. They have responded well over th last two days from that change. Still watering half gallon per plant every other day. I tried 3/4 gal last week, but they didn’t like that either. I’ll likely flip to 12-12 next week, but I’ll make that call later this week. Almost time for Bruce Banner to transform!
Day 71: Flower time!! At last, the time has come to flip the lights to 12/12. These babes are growing strong and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. I sure do love this hobby!
Day 78: the stretch is on!! The smells are increasing and the growth spurt is commencing. Beautiful plants that smell amazing! Very rich potent stink on the fingers after moving everything around. Lady Banner is going to be something special!!
Day 92: finished week three of flower with a major defol under and through th canopy. That should help get more light down into the lower branches. She’s starting to smell nice now. I suspect things will get stinkier soon.
Day 106: This beauty has packed on a TON of weight in the last week. Holy crap! I had to switch to the good camera and get some shots. I was in a hurry, so I only took a few of each plant. Don't forget to check out my other diaries and see how the other strains are doing!
Day 113: She is packing on some massive weight compared to my other plants. These are going to be very large nugs by the end of the run. She smells great and is really getting loaded up with trichomes! About 4 more weeks to go!
Day 120: She's really fattening up and is smelling delicious! Fattest buds of this entire grow! I'm guessing 2-3 weeks left now. I'll start flushing in a week and a half depending on how things are looking.
Day 128: I am going to start flushing today. These babes crept up on me and were very close to ready very quickly! I may chop her down in a week, perhaps sooner. I'll keep an eye on her and see what I think.
She has the highest THC content of any strain I have grown yet at 28%. She had some giant buds and all of them were very thick and fat. I didn't have to use any supports, but the buds were actually quite heavy when I harvested. This was an impressive plant and she lived up to her name. I will definitely grow her again and after only a couple of tokes from my bong, I feel absolutely fantastic!
