scupbucket Gonna try another round of plants. I learned a lot from my first attempt with some Easy Bud Auto and trying not to make the same mistakes with this batch. I see why more people prefer to grow indoors though... Gotta hurry up and get this in... wouldn't surprise me if it starts snowing by harvest time (already got the xmas plates out!).

scupbucket Got some Bud Cups this time around. Hoping they pop out relatively easy unlike the stupid pop bottles I was using before... Hardening them off for a few days.

scupbucket These girls are already twice as big and taking off twice as fast as my last attempt. I want to try LST this round so I had to transplant on day 12 to give em a few days to settle in. Fucked the transplant up as usual. Bud cups work pretty well... I didn't wait long enough after I watered them and they kinda mooshed into their new homes. Whelp... let's see what happens.

scupbucket Weather has been total shit... no sun, temp/humidity all over the place, and rain on and off. These girls are starving for light. Trying LST but it's not doing much since the nodes are all compacted at the top of a lanky stem. I 100% see why growing indoors is better in this neck of the woods. They look healthy but not really happy.

scupbucket It's pretty evident that I shocked the shit out of these ladies during transplant... not a ton of action this week considering the weather was pretty good. I'm not sure if I LST'd properly as it looks like all I'm doing is pissing a plant off by making it grow sideways... neat trick. Some new growth at the nodes but very small. These girls seem pretty hungry too as they react really well and perk up when fed. Pistils popped up just at the end of week 4... right on time.

scupbucket Yep... still growing sideways... kind of in a spiral now. They started their stretch and the new growth on the stem is slow to catch up. Good news is, the new growth is looking great and the vegetation is much fuller than my last three plants. But of course, all the good stuff comes with misery. One plant that got hit with those goddamn thrips and early this time. I hate those things. Neem'd em. The girls really enjoy the nutes but I noticed some burn so I'm only feeding every other watering. I don't really think I like growing these outdoors where we live. Might be time to invest in a tent...

scupbucket Kinda on autopilot this week... the girls are doing their thing. Nike got ambushed and stunted by thrips... . Neem oil worked well. The other two are ok. Showing some additional colas (I'm seeing the benefits of LST) but they're behind schedule and need to catch up with the rest of the plant. Weather still sucks.

scupbucket This little crop is growing way different than my last few plants... maybe because of the time of season? The foliage is way much more dense and lush with the LST, but buds are taking a bit longer to chunk up and there's hardly any trichomes on two out of the three plants. Surprisingly the frostiest of the three is the one that got hit with thrips early on. Again, the weather has been straight up shit. Rainy and starting to get cold. Late summer sunlight has shifted below the trees too and I'm short on sunlight.

scupbucket Some more trichome development and the buds are getting a bit beefier but still dealing with nonstop rain/heat/humidity... these girls have spent too much time indoors. They do look really healthy though, but not living up to their potential. Minor signs of nutrient burn but (knock on wood) no signs of bugs or WPM.

scupbucket Aaaaaand just like that, WPM time again! I got in the habit of taking the plants in at night because the temps have been dipping. Went out of town and had to keep the girls outside for 3 nights… Bam! Instant spots of WPM. Lots of dew overnight probably contributed. Had to trim a lot… luckily, it didn’t get a hold of the buds and I do a bud wash at harvest anyway. Wiped/sprayed em down with my H2O2 solution and gave em a lot of sunlight. So far so good. Trichomes are getting cloudy and the buds are still bulking up… not as big as my last crop of Easy Bud and not a ton of yield but look healthy and are nice n stinky. Few more weeks should do.

Happy Harvest Day!

Pretty easy strain to grow... Any growth stall I attribute to this being my first few times growing. Was surprised to see WPM the last week of the grow as I read this was a strain that was pretty resistant to fungal infections, but that might only apply to indoor growing. I guess if the conditions are right, it's gonna happen. At any rate, these were good and healthy plants resulting in a relatively compact yield. How much weed do I really need anyway... I'm good for a while.

scupbucket Totally forgot to weigh my chop and I'm too high from my harvest last month to go find my scale. Had to chop today because I couldn't slow down the WPM. Was a fun grow though. I'm learning much more about getting a larger yield... this grow was a bit light. Overall, growing these damn things seems easier the more I do it and I'm now a fan of LST. Looking forward to growing indoors this spring.

Great choice! I just harvested my first batch of NL Auto. You should check it out. I did a side by side comparison. One was allowed to grow naturally, while her sister was trained to grow multiple colas. Buds were more dense as well. Good luck growmie! Enjoy the grow!
