I am having hard time to know when is the time to water. I would water when the plant is completely dry or almost dry. Should I leave the plant dry for a day before watering or water as soon as it's dry?

it should feel super light when it needs watering . really if it has any weight to it at all wait another day to water. unless you leave your plants unattended for 4 or 5 days your not going to underwater them. but, overwatering is a easy mistake to make!

Hi @RussianSpyD! Growing in soil, you can water with ~15% of the container's volume in water, if you have a 10L container you must give at least ~1.5L of water. Roots need to be on a wet/dry cycle to properly develop and spread, searching for water, so you don't want a fully dry medium neither than a medium flooded with water for too long, but you should alternate between slightly wet and slightly dry. Hope this will help, keep us updated and happy growing! 👊

Good trick is to try the weight of your pot and determine that how when to water. Also you can try how moist your soil about a inch down..if dry then water. But learn the watering "sweet spot" by pot weight. 👍👊 Happy growing!

The best way is to learn to start the plants in a solo cup and learn to transplant. Using a pot that is just the right size for the stage of the plant will prevent overwatering issues. By letting the plant media dry up you force the plant to develop a strong root zone in the search of more water. Usually when the leaves are droppy and the media looks dry, then it's safe to assume it need water.

looks like you got a little heat stress going on as well, maybe get some fans on them or raise the light, or better airflow to get those temps down
