Started the new grow!!! First time growing and AutoFlower
Thursday June 6, 2019: Started the Zkittles Auto at Midnight.
Friday June 7, 2019: Left alone in complete darkness
Saturday June 8, 2019: Check on to see if it popped, it did!!! still letting go for a few days.
Sunday June 8, 2019: Sprouting quite well. Still needs darkness.
Monday June 9, 2019: Last day of total darkness
Tuesday June 10, 2019: Planted into a tiny green plastic pot, only for the beginnings of rooting. Covered with a 1 gal H2O bottle as a greenhouse and outside for a couple hours for fresh circulated air and a bit of sun rays.
Wednesday June 11, 2019: Growing well, seem healthy. Outside for a couple hours.
Thursday June 12, 2019: Brought inside put under the 100w HLG LED board. Watering will Start at beginning of Week 1 with Fox Farms Nutrients starting as well, using the first watering as a kind of flush before the storm.
Just let her go this whole week. Kept it under the bottle until it started to really put off a few leaves. Watered when soil was dry and the pot was light.
Just kind of let her do there thing this whole week. Little did she know she was getting a hair cut at the end of the week. Took before and after topping photos.
Day after topping I checked and had a jumbled mess of fans... Pruned a couple to open it up. Also a photo of exact tent temps and humidity.
This week I had to start the light LST. The tangled mess of leaves was slightly fixed after a few days of letting it recover. Had to create a cross brace for the bottom node to pull it parallel to the soil. Once this strain opens up in the middle it will take off.
By the end of the week I have this one in the closet with a 500w MH and getting a full nutrition mis of Fox Farms Big Bloom and Grow Big.
Decided to throw the girls under the 500w MH bulb and transition them into the flower process. This Green Crack Auto was already flowering under the 100w so I figured why not flower another girl with her and bump up the juice. I know Autos can have up to 20 hours of light but pretty sure that wouldn't be good for a photo so 12 hrs it is. We will see how the difference is "watts vs hours." We have created a hidden experiment within the grow!!
Slacked for the last few weeks but not much has changed just had let it grow naturally bud growth is slow but steady. Pics from now on every couple days. Researching slight Mag boosters. Current NPK is 8-12.5-8.5
Starting to see some real bud growth. Going to have some stocky girth on these buds. got a new light later in the week. Swapped it out and the growth exploded for a few days. Started flushing with pure H2O beginning of the week as Trichomes have started hazing
So this week is flush week. Trichomes have continued to haze and some even amber. A few more days and it should be ready to go. Probably middle of next week.
This particular strain was incredibly easy and resistant. I am a newbie grower and nothing happened to this girl. No nutrient problems, took to Fox Farms very well with consistent watering Topping and LST went very well for me, probably could have dont it a little more strategically, but you grow you learn.
Fast Buds was unbelievably gracious and sent me these Zkittles. And wow has been a learning experience. My first time growing Autos, and my second grow overall. This type of cannabis was so easy. Everything was so self explanatory when it came to needing to diagnose any sort of anything. There was no overwatering, or nutrient issues. Thus making me think if you need a resistant strain for environment this is a great bet. My wet yield was 1.75 ounces, but that is starting with a 100w light and then at flower put under a 500w HPS. Once that happened growth exploded and then the buds were forming and it got gassy, gassy. Skunks in my room status! It was great! Love this strain will always recommend Autos from Fast Buds!
