MontanaManMedical I decided to start popping one freebie seed for every bought seed I pop as a way of exploring more strains. Some of my favorite strains are the result of freebies. The freebie I popped this go around is Mimosa x The Brunch “Lover’s Cut” from Dirty Bird Genetics, which is apparently a Sativa leaning hybrid, which I’m partial towards. I can’t find much on it in terms of other people growing it, so I’m even more curious about what this will produce.

MontanaManMedical She continues her slow growth, with a healthy root that is days away from reaching the reservoir. I’m keeping the nutrients light for now, with periodic watering via plastic cup in the reservoir.

MontanaManMedical Growth is steady as the plant responds to the increase in light from 75% to 100% power. Everything looks stable, and the plant isn’t stretching too much at this early stage.

MontanaManMedical She’s growing really quickly. I’m impressed with the branching at this point in veg, and am looking forward to the increase in size in the next few weeks. Strawberry Cough is due to be harvested in two weeks, so we’ll see if it has enough size to be transplanted immediately, or if I’ll need to wait a little longer.

MontanaManMedical Growth has exploded in the last week. I’ve done a little bit of pruning to direct growth towards the top of the plant, as that was something that I felt I wasn’t doing early enough in some of my prior grows. Since I will be harvesting Hella Jelly in exactly one week, this plant will likely be moved in a week. She looks like she’ll be ready.

MontanaManMedical Growth has been steady and she is now the perfect size to be transplanted into the flowering tent. Growth on top has accelerated, which should mean good branching in flowering. She was transplanted into the flowering tent about an hour after I harvested Hella Jelly. I’m really looking forward to seeing what this produces.

MontanaManMedical We’re only a week in, but she stretched a massive amount, with her main cola poking through the lower trellis net. I’ll be doing some defoliation in the next few days, but it’ll likely be on the light side. So far this is a very vigorous strain.

MontanaManMedical She’s really stretching now! The lower branches are beginning to catch up with the main cola, with even quicker growth once I removed a few fan leaves. There’s already bud development as the plant continues to stretch. It looks like I picked the perfect time to begin flowering her, as she should fill in the nets nicely.
