feeding plain water untill she fades now impressed with this strain got a mate holding onto cuts of this one and got anouther 2 seeds so might get a few phenos on the go next time

I've just finished a run of rqs critical , I had a lot of bud rot.
I flushed at week 7 for 1 week .
I bought a pair of grow room glasses recently, and I swear man, the best 6 quid I've ever spent .
They take out the red spectrum from your hps and it enables me to really spot the slightest changes in my now lovely colas.
I started to notice one dry leaf at the chunky part of a cola, I'd pull it and it would come out easy because the bud had rotten.
I just cut the rotten bits away as carefully as I could and salvaged the rest of the cola, I say I cut at least an ounce off altogether, starting around week 6.
In hindsight, I would have topped the end branches on my top 4 branches during veg ( leave it at least 10 days before flipping)
This would have limited the size of the colas and evened things out nicely and reduced any rot.
I flushed mine at week 7,
I should have flushed at wk 6 .
Mines drying at the moment. I'll keep you posted.

@The_La,yea man ive not got big long colas as i topped a week before flip so hopfully that will help with rot then and shes does T up nice cant wait and yea i did a royal gorrila auto thats abit like that glookies good luck with it bro

I averaged 3.8oz per plant .
There is a lot of fluff with this one, I would advise you to take as much off as you can . Because the colas grow so fast the bottom buds don't have much of a chance to catch up .
It is nice and strong , not the tastiest smoke but it doesn't stink to much so you can smoke it without the neighbourhood complaining.
quiet a creative buzz , I play bass and it really sends me off .
Covered in trichomes and a nice dense bud.
I'm glad I grew it but I wouldn't rush to do it again mainly down to the bud rot issues . You will enjoy it dude .

Your Criticals are looking real nice. Have you grown the strain before? I’m growing Critical for the 1st time right now and through 6 weeks of flower I have been really impressed with the strain. @smoker420, definitely a nice sweet skunk smell with pungent citrus 🍊 undertones. I did not start super-cropping until the flowering stretch either. Really made for a nice dense bud canopy. Very very sticky buds and leaves. I am 3 days into week 7 and the trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few still clear. I figure another 2 weeks or so and they should be close to done. I like to harvest when my trichomes start to show roughly 5% Amber

Dude bend the tops of the tallest ones downwards at the level of the next ones . Squeeze gently between thumb and forefinger bending in desired direction so as not to block off light from lower stems , it may feel like you've broken it but don't worry you won't (you love her dude ).this will allow lower tops to catch up with the primary.
Wow @smoker420 good job on your first photoperiod. I also did my 1st photoperiod come take a look at my Cinderella 99 grow and give me some advice. And for future reference I use organiside as a preventative measure against all sorts of pests in my garden. Organic so will not damage plants (make sure to only use right before lights off) but does smell very much like fish but great way to prevent pests.

I just finished a run of critical, you don't want huge colas with this strain. And that's all they want to do.
They stand a high chance of getting bud rot as this stain is notorious for it.
Bend those branches down ,also the side branches, bring your net lower make yourself a nice canopy.

@The_La, will do man thanks and ive notices shes abit more sensetive to feed compared to others and shes dont strecth to much wonder what phenos there is of this got anouther 2 beans to try next
