Germination

Wycofane I put the seeds in a paper towel to let them germinate. So far, I've just had the best experiences with it because you can almost force some seeds that don't want to sprout to germinate. After that, they went into a small pot with Lightmix with the already formed root.

Wycofane It's June 25, 2026, and the little seeds have sprouted. Out came wonderful little plants. They have a nice shape, a beautiful color, and overall good vitality. So far, they are still stretching for the light and are therefore still a bit droopy. I've also noticed some small issues already. There are a few thrips appearing on the leaves. Definitely not a good start. With painstaking effort, I checked each individual plant, killed the thrips I could see, and then treated the plants with neem oil.

Wycofane As can be clearly seen in the pictures, there are noticeable thrip traces on the Biscotti Gelato. Currently, it is about 9–10 cm tall, just like the GG4 Sherbet FF (GS). So far, the Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) is the tallest at a proud 11–12 cm. They are still in the small pot and have received the same treatment as last week: – Visual inspection of the plant |– Hand-killing thrips – Treatment with neem oil Last time, I was able to keep the population well under control this way. So far, no nutrients have been used, and the plants have only been watered with unadjusted tap water.

Wycofane This week I decided to transplant them into their final pots. I also worked with mycorrhiza to give the roots a better life. With the help of the symbiosis with these fungi, the roots can absorb nutrients better. I transplanted them here in 11 L Biobizz Lightmix. I raised the humidity with a Spider Farmer fogger. The plants are really developing beautifully. Each genetic variety has its own unique way of growing. I especially find the Biscotti Gelato (BG) interesting with its round tips and beautiful colors. The GG4 Sherbet FF (GS) has probably received a bit too much water. Its color has slightly faded and is starting to discolor. Due to the watering cycle, it may have gotten too much.

Wycofane This week is already heading towards flowering, they're slowly reaching a size that I really like. The Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) has particularly stood out with its size. Almost 30 cm, that's 3–10 cm more than the other strains. This week, I'm mainly preparing the plants for flowering. I'm partially removing the large leaves at the top to allow light to reach the lower shoots. After that, I topped them as well.

Wycofane Unfortunately, I have to say that I was at my girlfriend's last week and didn't take any photos. For this reason, we're going straight into week 7 and skipping week 6. :) This is the last day in the veg stage. Starting tomorrow, we're going to 12/12!

Wycofane You can really see the stretch during the flowering stage. Gained almost 10 cm in no time. Not all genetics have shot up like this. The Biscotti Gelato hasn't grown as tall. Still, they have a beautiful color, a dense canopy, and a nice growth shape. Here and there I've removed a few leaves, but there hasn't been much more training.

Wycofane The plants are slowly starting to form their buds. In the pictures, you can also clearly see the difference in the genetics now. The Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) is the tallest at 100 cm. Next is the GG4 Sherbet FF (GS) at just under 90 cm, and the smallest is the Biscotti Gelato (BG) at 80 cm. That's quite a noticeable difference between the plants. It shows the genetic potential. Next time, I would make sure that the Biscotti Gelato doesn't share a tent with the Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS).

Wycofane This week, you can also see a boost in height again. The Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) has now surpassed 110 cm. The GG4 Sherbet FF (GS) is currently at just under 95 cm, and the Biscotti Gelato (BG) is bringing up the rear at just under 90 cm. The bud structures are clearly visible. Now it’s just one thing left to do: let the buds grow! Slowly, the growth pattern from Green House Feeding is also changing, and we’re starting to give PK boosters.

Wycofane In the next flowering week, you can clearly see the plan. The structure has solidified, and the buds are getting riper. Especially with the Biscotti Gelato, you can see how much potential is in the genetics. It's already completely covered in trichomes. Super frosty! The GG4 Sherbet FF (GS) has the final bud structure. When it comes to size, the Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) is still the contested number 1. At just under 115 cm, it's the tallest of the three, and I think it's reached its final size by now.

Wycofane This week, the plants have really gotten quite fat. Covered in crystals. The Garlic Mint Sherbet (GMS) is still the biggest of them all. But you can also see that it will take the longest time of all. So far, the terps are already very strong. I can't leave the tent open for even 5 minutes without everything smelling without exception. Especially the Biscotti Gelato and the GG4 Sherbet FF are really potent. But week by week, we're heading towards the harvest.
