Well I had named t his strain Trainwreck as that was the name on the label for the bag it came in. Further conversations with the friend who gave me the seeds says it was Trainwreck, but cant remember which one it was. Whatever strainit is, it has turned out very good. Nice thick buds, very sticky and lots of red hairs. I am very pleased with the outcome of my first grow, thanks to all here that have helped me along the way.
hi greenackers, your plant requires nitrogen that's all. Start introducing some Veg nutrients to your plants and you'll see this stop within a week. Whatever was in your soil is now depleted.
Hit it with cal-mag! It's a easy clone!(use clonex) shell make u happy! Started out with 1 seed now have 30 clones! You will be very happy at harvest time 👍👍
That's a solid setup you got there looking nice and healthy :), you are going to have have some really nice growth out of those :) Have you heard of the new RSPEC Niemi Deep-Red grow lights are designed to enhance flower while still being a great full cycle grow light from seed to flower? Check out NiemiLED.com for the best priced high performance LED grow lights.
I grew Train Wreck and was stunned to actually see it display one of its trademark characteristics- after several months, and in flower, she took a hard right turn towards Albuquerque. She looked like I’d supercropped her but I hadn’t.
More amazingly, she flowered for ten months. That’s not a typo or my fantasy. She flowered for ten months. I picked ‘em as she grew and popped em in the vaporizer. Delish as a fresh tomato off the vine! Total harvest about 2.5z and it was sublimely good.
Mature weed delivers a better high than speed grown.
That’s a topic I want to discuss when I restart my show The Toking Heads. Who would find that discussion interesting? Who agrees? Who doesn’t notice a difference?
Best wishes for a great harvest! Enjoy
Hard to tell between nitrogen def vs mag but look at the color of the stems, it’s reddish purple? That’s a sign of cal mag def. or genetics but o doubt it’s the genetics
I have nutrients for the flower cycle that have high Cal and mag, but am not flowering for 3 more weeks. could I add the Bloom A which is 4.8% Cal and. 2% Mag, dosage is 2ml per 1 litre of water. and should I add it now or include it on Sun with my regular feeding. Thanks
Thanks everyone for all their help and suggestions. I got some CalMag and the yellow leaves have been corrected. My ph level is about 6.7, I also see that I need some sort of heating system to keep the tent at a good temp for growing. I dont have a thermostat in there yet but I can feel the temp and its a little cool, the air intake at the bottom is bring in the room air, which lately has been on the cooler side.
No smell as of yet, but Im expecting that soon. According to one other grow journal app, the expected harvest date is Sept 29, 2019, but I am also going to watch the tricones colors and shoot for a mix of white and amber. I have called this plant Trainwreck cause that is the name on the bag the seeds came in, but Im not sure if that is accurate. I have 3 plants total, this one in the grow tent from Vivosun and 2 plants outside. The 2 plants outside are very different then the one in the tent. The 2 outside have grown very tall, one is at 3' now, but the one in the tent is short and stout (calling it Teapot Budha, lol).
This has been an awesome experience for my first real grow. 👌👽
ok I will have to get some other nutrients that has the Cal mag in it. I have the nutrients from Nutri-plus, Grow A & B, and have been only feeding once a week, should it be more often?
