MontanaManMedical Full disclosure: Bay 11 by the original breeder, Grand Daddy Purple Seeds, is my favorite Sativa-leaning strain, and my favorite overall. I believe in using the original breeder’s seeds when possible, but it wasn’t possible to source the strain when I wanted it, so I’m planting this instead. I’ve grown it before, and it seemed very close to the feminized version of Bay 11. I first grew the reg version of Bay 11, so that’s the one I’m waiting to get in stock for a future reg grow to compare.

MontanaManMedical She’s looking really healthy, with roots developing that should soon be within reach of the reservoir. Until then, I’m manually watering it. I doubt it’ll be more than a few days before it’s able to feed on its own.

MontanaManMedical Growth is steady and everything looks stable. The roots haven’t made it to the reservoir yet, but I’ve upped the water in the bucket now that I’ve relocated the plant to the 2nd veg tent, formerly the autoflower/indica flowering tent. This is causing a little bit of the water to be splashed onto the roots by the air stones in the bucket. This should help speed things up.

MontanaManMedical She was moved into the flowering tent on Wednesday and has already grown significantly, which is why I didn’t need to give it much veg time. Before the 100% sativas I’ve grown, this was my high water mark for stretching strains.

MontanaManMedical There’s already a significant amount of stretch early in flowering. The plant looks healthy, with good root development. Once Bay 11 finishes stretching, she puts on a lot of weight, especially when she has a healthy set of roots.
