I use coco as hydro system, so i water everyday with run off, don't let your coco dry out ! And you need to add sufficient cal/mag. I feed my plants from day 1 but that is what i do. Also the advantage of everyday water is easy PH, keeps PH steady because you change everyday for water with right PH. Good luck ๐Ÿ‘Š

Consider guano teas of some sort. I have found the plants to like feeding every few days in smaller portions than once every week or two. They like their water when they get big. Also, calmag is pretty important, but it will raise the PH, you would need to find a way to drop the ph. Garden Sulfur could help but it's best if the soil was pretreated months in advance. Think you gotta do some research to see if it's safe in a guano tea. I've heard lime/lemon juice could help.

@SortOfNovice, organics will work best for soiless that retains water better like peat moss often called "potting soil" , it's bio but it's not sustainable ! Hope this helps ๐Ÿ‘Š
