LovelyTerps August 21 2026 No problems so far. VPD was raised to 0.8 today, and DLI adjusted to ~15.5. She's got decent airflow, plenty of fresh air, and an abundance of nutrients in the soil. I will continue to leave her alone for couple more weeks, and then perhaps start some LST if she decides to grow up instead of out.

LovelyTerps August 28 2026 She's starting to take off now, but almost entirely in the horizontal direction. That's fine with me of it means an easier time levelling out the canopy later. She's got plenty of soil to explore, so she might get girthy. Even though she's an F1 and fast development is to be expected, I can't say I've ever spotted a pre-flower so early. On August 25th at only 11 Days old, I spotted what looked like a pre-flower forming on the 2nd node. As of today that pre-flower is fully visible and almost looks male. Since I've never seen the pre-flowers for this cross, I wouldn't be able to say anyway. It's feminized so the odds of landing a male are next to zero, so it's likely just a very vigourous F1.

LovelyTerps Friday September 4 2026 She's a vigorous one, that's for certain. She's at day 21 and already has pre-flowers and pistil hairs showing. The combined autoflower genetics and F1 heterozygous vigor are on display here. She doesn't have any aroma yet, and a leaf rub just gives off the smell of carrots or something similar. I'm certain that will change in a week or two.

LovelyTerps September 11 2026 She's doubled her height in the past week, and really taking off now. Hard to believe she's only 28 days old from sprout, but F1 + Autoflower = insane vigor. I did some defoliating yesterday to help get some air flow going, as well as removing some larf and larf-bearing branches. She is smelling really good now too. when I open up the tent I get a good whiff of what smells like coffee beans and possibly chocolate. I haven't had to top her, and her canopy is fairly even. The limbs are a bit close together still, so I may have to do some training this coming week before the stretching is done. I honestly have no idea what kind of timeline to expect with her, I've never grown an F1 Auto before. At her current pace she's eating everything and drinking a lot, and still showing deficiencies. Crazy...
