Redweasel With the catastrophic stem failure of the Cherry Paloma S1, I've decided to run an autoflower in the 2×3 as we finish engineering the system.
Placed a single Purple Lemonade seed from Autoseeds.com in a 2 cup pocket of Heady Start contained in a 13 gallon Grassroots Lined Living Soil container filled with reamended custom Build a Soil 3.0, spread Build a Soil cover crop along the perimeter, & watered in lightly with 6.5ph/30ppm plain reservoir water containing a dose of coconut water powder, aloe powder and Real Growers Recharge. DLI set to 10, VPD range 0.4-0.6.
Day temps sitting around 77°F, night temps closer to 68°F. 18hr light cycle.

Cotelydons have broken soil layer & cover crop is coming in thick in a 4 inch radius around the seedling.

Using this run to test my new 2×3 single plant automated living soil system.
This will be an extremely hands off grow. With my irrigation automated & custom living soil strategy, I'm anticipating less than three hours total maintenance for the entire cycle.

Chopped cover crop layer & retained to start a FPE & dusted the remaining plant material with 1/4 cup Kashi Gold, then placed two 1/4" coco coir mulch rings over the surface layer.

Removed large fans from node four that were blocking lower growth sites & node 2 that were shaded with low turgor.
Hand watered with 1/2 gallon plain 6.5ph/33ppm reservoir water mixed with 1/2 tsp each of coconut water powder, aloe powder, quillaja powder, & house made cover crop FPE.

Removed every fan leaf with a petiole & retained to make a FPE as a future veg input.
Removed coco coir mulch rings & top dressed with 2 cups each worm castings, Build a Flower, Coast of Main Quoddy Blend, 1 cup rice hulls for airation, 3/4 cup Kashi Gold bokashi, 1/2 cup Down to Earth Flower Garden, & 2 tbsp each of prilled gypsum, glacial rock dust, & insect frass.
Hand watered in with 1 gallon plain 6.5ph/28ppm reservoir water mixed with 2 tbsp banana FFJ, 1 tsp each of Build a Bloom, aloe powder, coconut water powder, & 1/2 tsp Recharge.
DLI raised to 38
VPD target remains at 0.90
Autopot reactivated.
