TurtleInWeed 🀝 Before We Start This grow is part of a cooperation with Zamnesia. I’ll be growing and documenting three different Zamnesia F1 Hybrids in separate diaries: Blue Waffle F1, Lemon Cherry Gelato F1 and Pickled Lemon Haze F1. I’ll be documenting the grow from seed to harvest and sharing my own observations along the way. Thanks to Zamnesia for making this project possible. Now, let’s get started. 🌱 Use code ZAMMIGROW2024 for 20% off at Zamnesia 🌱 GERMINATION β€” DAY 0–2 The seeds were started in a small propagator. After around 20 hours, the first taproot appeared. By 48 hours, all three had developed strong roots and started to grow slightly into the cotton pad. I carefully separated the cotton and freed the roots without pulling on them. They were then planted into labelled 500 ml cups with 90% BioBizz Light-Mix and 10% perlite. RootMax was mixed into the upper layer of the substrate and added to the planting holes before the seeds were lightly moistened.

TurtleInWeed πŸ‹πŸŒΏ Pickled Lemon Haze F1 β€” Week 1 πŸ“Š Weekly Overview Week: 1 β€” Seedling Stage Height: 4.8 cm Light: FC4000-EVO β€” 24% at 48 cm Light Schedule: 18/6 Temperature / RH: 25Β°C / 51% lights on β€” 23Β°C / 55% lights off Watering: 50ml on Day3 and again 50ml on Day6 Substrate: 90% BioBizz Light-Mix / 10% Perlite Root development: Taproot visible at the bottom from Day 4, roots visible along the sides a few days later Notes: Briefly drooped after watering from both the top and bottom, but recovered within a day 🌱 Plant Status Pickled Lemon Haze had a solid first week and was the tallest of the three seedlings at 4.8 cm by the end of the week. After emerging from the substrate, it continued to develop steadily and showed no obvious issues. The plant remained healthy, with normal colour and clean leaf development. While PLH was slightly ahead in height, the three seedlings were otherwise developing at a fairly similar pace. The root system also progressed quickly. The taproot was already visible at the bottom of the cup on Day 4, followed by roots appearing along the sides a few days later. On Day6 the plant briefly reacted to watering from both the top and bottom but recovered within a day. By the end of the week, the surface of the substrate had dried while moisture remained deeper in the cup. Since there was still noticeable weight, watering was postponed rather than keeping the root zone constantly wet.

TurtleInWeed πŸ‹πŸŒΏ Pickled Lemon Haze F1 β€” WEEK 2 πŸ“Š WEEKLY OVERVIEW Week: 2 Light: Mars Hydro FC4000 EVO, 320W Light schedule: 18/6 Light distance: 48 cm Light power: 30% Temperature: up to 26Β°C Humidity: 54–61% Watering: 80 ml before transplant, with slight runoff Substrate: 16 L Light-Mix + 2 L worm castings + 2 L perlite Pot: 20 L fabric pot Transplant: 31.08. End height: 8.5 cm 🌱 PLANT STATUS Pickled Lemon Haze F1 was the tallest and most developed plant of the three by the end of Week 2. It continued to build substantial leaf mass and developed a broad, open structure. The foliage is slightly lighter green than BW. After transplanting, the plant recovered within one day and continued producing new growth without visible issues. 🌱 Transplant & Soil Preparation β€” Week 2 The 20 L pots were prepared with: 16 L BioBizz Light-Mix 2 L worm castings 2 L perlite 80 g Startrex per pot 5 g Mycotrex distributed through the upper half of the pot 2 g additional Mycotrex directly in the planting hole 4 BioTabs per pot For the first watering after transplanting, Orgatrex and Bactrex were added according to the planned mix. The transplant itself was somewhat difficult due to the loose substrate in the 500 ml cups, but all three plants recovered quickly and were standing upright again the following day. Week 2 finished with a clear difference in structure: PLH is currently the most open and largest, LCG is close behind with good leaf mass, while BW remains distinctly compact. No visible problems were observed in any of the three plants.
