Izukasi Hey growmies, a fresh start with new knowledge and new motivation... Three Permanent Marker plants from Royal Queen Seeds are being started in 1L plastic pots until they're ready to move into their 5-gallon fabric pots. I'm really excited about the genetics—and especially about trying Royal Queen Seeds for the first time! Birth date was 31.8 and the 1.9 the last lady is taking a little more time, but there's no need to worry—we have patience.

Izukasi Day 12 since breaking the soil; unfortunately, the third lady didn't make it, so the run will continue with just the two remaining ones. Nevertheless, I’m really looking forward to this grow and hope no further complications arise—though, as you never know, we’ll see what happens down the line. We’re currently still in the seedling phase—a time for observing and singing bedtime stories to the ladies. I think they’ll really start to take off in terms of growth in about four days, but until then, it’s just a matter of watching them grow. 😌

Izukasi Week 3: They've started growing well, especially in width. The left plant is ready to be repotted, but the right one is lagging a little behind. So I'll give it another 1-3 days and then repot them both into 5-gallon pots, which I won't fill completely. Then the exciting part begins! I'll keep you posted. 2 Days after the last update: Today I decided to transplant the ladies into the 5-gallon fabric pots; I’m giving them 3–4 days to recover and keeping the humidity high, then we’ll see how they settle into their new pots.

Izukasi Week 4: They’ve settled in really well in the new 18L pots; the soil mix consists of 80% standard soil and 20% worm castings—something like that. I’ll give them another 3–5 days—depending on how fast they grow and how vigorous they look—and then I’ll top them above the 5th node. Until then, I’m keeping the humidity as high as I can and keeping a close eye on them 😌 5 Days after last update : I’ve topped the one on the left now, and I’m going to leave the one on the right alone for another 3–5 days to let it catch up a bit. I’ll let the left one recover undisturbed for the next few days as well.

Izukasi Week 5 : I decided to top the right one today as well—a bit "earlier" than I’d planned, but it had put on good mass and, in my opinion, was ready. The left one has recovered well from its topping; instead of focusing energy on the main shoot, it has visibly channeled it into the top two shoots, and overall it looks very healthy, green, and vigorous. I also did a bit of leaf tucking on the left plant so the shoots beneath the uppermost fan leaves wouldn't be too heavily shaded. I’m going to let the right one recover for 2–3 days to see how it handles the topping before I potentially do some tucking there too. Most likely, once they’re ready next week, I’ll start with some light LST—just observing them until then. =) 5 days after last update : They are getting significantly wider and sturdier. I’m starting to work on both of them with LST so they can grow even more evenly and vigorously; the coming weeks are going to be really exciting! I think I’ll give them another two weeks before flipping to a 12/12 light cycle. Until then, I’ll keep taking care of them very carefully—and with love, of course.

Izukasi Week 6 of the vegetative stage; they’re growing like crazy, just as hoped. I’m doing some light LST on both so the lower shoots get some light. As it stands, I’d give them another 1–1.5 weeks before flipping to 12/12.

Izukasi Week 7 : They continue to look very good. I’ve "lolli-popped" the lower growth and tucked the branches a bit more so that everything gets enough light—which means the 12/12 flip is just around the corner. I’m really, really excited to see how they develop—and how the growth progresses in general. (This is my first time putting a photoperiod plant into the flowering stage.) so we will see =) ill keep you posted
