Izukasi Day 12 since breaking the soil; unfortunately, the third lady didn't make it, so the run will continue with just the two remaining ones. Nevertheless, I’m really looking forward to this grow and hope no further complications arise—though, as you never know, we’ll see what happens down the line. We’re currently still in the seedling phase—a time for observing and singing bedtime stories to the ladies. I think they’ll really start to take off in terms of growth in about four days, but until then, it’s just a matter of watching them grow. 😌

Izukasi Week 3: They've started growing well, especially in width. The left plant is ready to be repotted, but the right one is lagging a little behind. So I'll give it another 1-3 days and then repot them both into 5-gallon pots, which I won't fill completely. Then the exciting part begins! I'll keep you posted. 2 Days after the last update: Today I decided to transplant the ladies into the 5-gallon fabric pots; I’m giving them 3–4 days to recover and keeping the humidity high, then we’ll see how they settle into their new pots.

Izukasi Week 4: They’ve settled in really well in the new 18L pots; the soil mix consists of 80% standard soil and 20% worm castings—something like that. I’ll give them another 3–5 days—depending on how fast they grow and how vigorous they look—and then I’ll top them above the 5th node. Until then, I’m keeping the humidity as high as I can and keeping a close eye on them 😌
