Hi guys, I open this new diary because the 5 seeds placed in the soil some days ago have germinated and I therefore have the opportunity to show you my last experiment regarding the newly germinated seedlings. I put aside the two smallest LED bulbs and bought on Amazon two reglette (the LED lights to be placed inside the cabinets) of 150 cm each, one with a spectrum of warm and cold light and I placed them directly on the pots now that the plants have just germinated. I think it can be a good way to grow seedlings for the first week. The very cheap Somno LED reglette, each of them consumes 18W and has a brightness of 1850 lumens and they have the right shape to be comfortably placed on a row of vases. I will keep you updated in the coming weeks on this little experiment and its results 😉
June 25, day 5: The small plants grow quickly and after just two days I had to move the LED lights in a classic position, as if it were an old ceiling lamp with neon tubes, even the brightness is similar, but I think I buy a further reglette with cold light to increase the lumens. At five days they are already between seven and nine centimeters high and have just unfolded the first two leaves with the indistinguishable shape so loved by us. I add the current and all-time temperature and humidity data both in Celsius and Fareneight. I also enclose the image of the lamp used 24 hours a day which I use to kill mosquitoes. Even though my room is now sealed and I control the indoor temperature and humidity with the use of the air conditioner / dehumidifier, often the access door remains open and the bastard mosquitoes enter, but it is really nice to hear them burst on the lamp. It is also composed of two small blue neon lights of 10w each and when the lamps are off, it gives the room a brightness similar to that of the moon and being all my autoflowering plants does not cause any damage.
Oh baby dem some sexy colors. The purples and the reds. Absolutely gorgeous. Great work my friend. Keep doing what your doing and best of luck with the rest of the journey.
hi bro ! when i saw your pic i said ! what a nice pink hemoroïds….sry…. pink foxtailing 😜
but when i saw your others pics and what you call a white minibud... i immediatly think to a possible light bleaching.
be careful with that dude in the future 👍 take a look here https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabis-plant-problems/light-burn ….you will find exactly the same 😳
wish you the best for the rest of your flo 👌
@Budofpray, Hi friend, unfortunately I left the LED lamp too close to the plants and I didn't move the same plants for a few weeks. My lamps are Apollo series and each plate is composed of numerous LEDs of different light spectrum so for about three weeks the apical buds in those specific points received only one light spectrum and reacted by changing pigmentation, after moving the plants and raising the 10 cm lamp the bleached buds stopped growing. As you can see from the most recent images both plants are in excellent health and are almost ready to be harvested 😉
@Ocanabineiro, Hi friend, it's a home-made panel that I made to be able to use the space under the table and it is composed of 3 T8 tubes with full spectrum LEDs with the addition of two reglette, one with warm light and one with light cold, all five tubes are 150 cm long and will provide light to newly sprouted plants 😉
Hello-
I like the way you set up your garden! You are definitely making the most of your space!
Can you tell me about the Sino Tech light shown in photo #19? Is that UV-C?
