Blue Muffin / Manny-T Cut

CanOli95 Warm welcome to my Diary :) At Cannafair, it wasn't just the Spur Fraise that caught my attention, as the Blueberry Muffin has been on the agenda for a while now. I've read quite a bit that it should perform consistently well and is relatively stable. It's in the same substrate as the Spur Fraise from the other diary, but here with more pot volume. I'm really curious to see how it goes and will give it more attention and light 🌱

CanOli95 This week has been pretty relaxed so far. The nutrients have been well accepted, and she has also gained some color. She's grown quite a nice bit too. I’ll probably initiate flowering at the end of the week, because a longer vegetation period doesn’t make sense due to the larger plant. I’ll have to make sure she doesn’t get overshadowed anyway. If necessary, she might get a boost to have a better chance.

CanOli95 The first week of flowering has now also begun for the BBM. The little one is still growing a bit hesitantly and with a longer shoot. This is due to the fact that it is being shaded by another plant. Nevertheless, it is already showing the first pistils in the leaf axils. It is indicated to have a flowering time of about 45 days, which I find hard to imagine. Still, I'm curious to see how far it will come in this time. I'm not giving the BBM any training. Bending it would only subject it to the growth of the other plants. I'm just letting it do its thing and watching it grow. Thanks to the additives in the soil, it is supplied with nutrients for a long time, so I only need to adjust the pH of the tap water a bit and add Epsom salt to adjust the calcium/magnesium ratio accordingly.

CanOli95 The second week has also begun here. The week went quite relaxed. The little one is growing further and forming new shoots. On the nutrient side, everything looks very relaxed as well; there's nothing to complain about. The only negative is that the shading will probably be even greater. For comparison, I took a joint photo with a spritz that is running indoors. The spritz is doing very well, but it doesn't have a diary. In the picture, you can see a small shoot in the right corner, desperately trying to climb towards the light. Nevertheless, it doesn't look like the mechanism of phototropism is kicking in yet, which tells me that the light is well adjusted. Another Sanlight is hanging in the right corner and is slightly angled so that the BBM is directly illuminated.
