Bread_n_Buds Sativa Fiesta – Zamnesia Seeds | Germination & Early Growth
The start with these two Sativa Fiesta seeds has been very straightforward so far.
Both seeds cracked in less than 24 hours after being placed in water, showing a quick and healthy start. After being transferred into soil, they took around two days to break through the surface. Germination and emergence were both smooth, with no issues or signs of stress along the way.
The seedlings are currently looking healthy and vigorous, with good color and steady development. They are already a little taller than some of the other plants in the grow, which could be expected considering the 70% Sativa genetics. Sativa Fiesta is part of Zamnesia’s Experimental line, with strains going through a selection and testing process before being released commercially. According to Zamnesia, Sativa Fiesta successfully made it through that process.
The genetics are listed as Mexican Ă— Pakistani Hash Plant Ă— Durban, resulting in a predominantly Sativa profile. The reported terpene profile includes caryophyllene and myrcene, with sweet, earthy, spicy and herbal notes.
For this grow, I’m using Zamnesia Vegan Grow as the nutrient, together with the Zamnesia Ecosystem grow box, equipped with its ventilation system. Lighting is provided by the Zamnesia Phytonaut LED 480W.
At this stage, the main observation is simply how easy the start has been: fast germination, quick emergence and healthy-looking seedlings from both seeds. The slightly taller structure is something I’ll keep an eye on as vegetative growth develops.

Bread_n_Buds Where I come from, there is great respect for autoflowers—which are evolving at record speed—but we still prefer photoperiod strains with absolutely no "ruderalis" genetics; that’s why we always aim to grow photoperiods, and they often become my personal "Fort Knox."
Strain – Sativa Fiesta will be my daytime strain for the winter. When you need to stay awake during the day and can't afford to feel sluggish—or else you'd waste precious time—Sativa Fiesta is the answer: it lets you work, make music, and spark creativity, yet still leaves you able to make love in the evening.
Techniques – As is now our custom, we’ll be growing two plants: one using training techniques (initial topping at the 5th or 6th node, plus transplanting) and one left to grow straight up.
Pots – Right now, they are in tiny starter pots for germination, but we’ll soon move them to 11L pots (for the "no-technique" plant) and 15–18L pots (for the trained plant).
Plant 1 – Plant 1 sprouted a little over two weeks ago and is growing rapidly; it’s the tallest of the small photoperiods.
Plant 2 – Just like Plant 1: it sprouted and grew normally, showing nice leaf color; there’s a very minor deficiency on one leaf, but nothing significant.
Fertilizer – The fertilizer is Zamnesia’s brand-new Vegan Grow. Vegan Grow is a 100% plant-based base fertilizer for the vegetative stage. Rich in essential nutrients, it promotes vigorous development and robust plants. It should be used alongside Vegan Bloom for an optimal transition to the flowering stage. Light – We are providing a controlled amount of light: around 600 µmol/m²/s in the center and 520–550 at the edges, monitored using the Phantom Photobio (https://photobio.com/). The light used is the Zamnesia Pythonaut LED 480W, designed specifically for growers.

Z – Sativa Fiesta began its journey as part of Zamnesia Experimentals—our limited-edition release program where new genetics are field-tested before earning a spot in the permanent catalog. Only strains that perform consistently across various growing environments make the cut, and Sativa Fiesta proved it deserved its place. Your grows, your results, and your reviews made it official. Bread_n_Buds We are now in the thick of the vegetative phase; our Zamnesia Sativa Fiesta plants have got off to a great start and have quickly reached the fifth node.
Strain – Sativa Fiesta will be my go-to daytime strain for the winter. When you need to stay awake and active without risking that sluggish feeling that wastes precious time, Sativa Fiesta is the ideal solution: it allows you to work, make music, and boost creativity, while still leaving you with the energy for lovemaking in the evening.
Techniques – As is our custom, we are growing two plants: one undergoing training techniques (initial topping at the fifth or sixth node, plus transplanting) and one left to grow freely and vertically. Both are currently at the start of the 5th node; we will begin applying techniques soon.
Pots – We have completed the transplant and moved to the final pots; the plant destined for training is now in an 18L square plastic pot, while the one growing straight up is in an 11L pot.
Plant 1 (Techniques) – Plant 1 has developed beautifully up to the 5th node and experienced no issues during the transplant from the 1L pot to the 18L pot.
Plant 2 (No techniques) – It had a few minor issues with the transplant, but a couple of waterings with Zamnesia fertilizer got everything back on track. Flowering starts in a few weeks, so a small imbalance isn't a problem; we have a fantastic feeding lineup that lets us recover in a flash and stick to the "slightly under-fed" rule.
Fertilizer – The fertilizer being used is Zamnesia's brand-new Vegan Grow. Vegan Grow is a 100% plant-based base fertilizer specifically designed for the vegetative phase. Rich in essential nutrients, it promotes vigorous growth and robust plants. It should be used in combination with Vegan Bloom to ensure an optimal transition to the flowering phase.

Soil – We are using the fantastic Plagron Bio Light Mix soil (www.plagron.com) with added perlite, Euro pebbles at the base of the pot, and mycorrhizae from https://www.florea.bio/
Light – We provide a controlled amount of light: approximately 600 µmol/m²/s in the center and 520–550 at the edges, monitored using the Phantom Photobio device (https://photobio.com/). The lamp used is the Zamnesia Pythonaut LED 480W, designed specifically for growers.
