RelaeX ⚡ Painkiller XL (RQS) Speedrun Log #01 | Harvest Deadline: Dec 10 ⏱️🌱
Strain: 2x Painkiller XL (Royal Queen Seeds) – High-CBD (75% Sativa / 25% Indica) 🌿
Project Goal: Operation Post-Op Recovery – Tight speedrun targeting harvest on December 10, 2026 (76-day total runtime). The strain needs to be ready for my recovery phase 3–4 weeks after my upcoming surgery. ⏱️🗓️?
🧠⚙️ Setup & Strategy
Germination (Sep 24): Petri dish + paper towel + Zamnesia Seed Booster at 22–24°C passive tent heat. 🌡️✨
Potting & Buffer Chain: Petri dish ➔ Zamnesia Coco Germination Plug ➔ 11L final pots filled with Floragard Growmix. The unfertilized coco plug acts as a buffer so the delicate seedling taproot isn't overwhelmed by the pre-fertilized soil. 🌱✨
Veg Phase & Flip: Ultra-short veg (~7 days under 18/6). Flip to 12/12 on October 8, 2026. Relying on the 75% Sativa flowering stretch to build the main canopy structure. 🗓️💡🌿
Nutrient Concept (Bloom Fertilizer Only): Skipping grow fertilizer completely. The 11L Floragard Growmix provides plenty of nutrients for the short veg and initial stretch. Bloom fertilizer will only be introduced around late October (Week 3–4 of flower) at 50% strength if lower leaves demand it. ?💧📊
Watering: Targeted spot-watering (250–500 ml radius) around the plug to keep the root zone airy in the large 11L pots early on. 🚿🌬️🔍

📝🤔💬 Community Questions & Feedback
Due to an upcoming surgery, I'm on a strict timeline as I need this strain 3–4 weeks post-op to aid my recovery:
76-Day Schedule: Do you think 9 full weeks of 12/12 (Oct 8 – Dec 10) is enough for Painkiller XL to fully mature after only a 7-day veg? ⏳🗓️🌻
Bloom-Only Feeding: Any experience skipping veg nutrients entirely when using 11L pre-fertilized soil (Growmix) on a fast-flip run? 📉🧐
Appreciate any insights, advice, or speedrun experiences! ✌️🌱🚀

Germination / Start: September 24, 2026
Date: October 24, 2026 (Veg Day 30 / VT 30)
Current Height: ~20 cm
* Climate & Environment: ~25.1 °C ~68% RH
Medium & Lighting: Floragard Growmix / Spider Farmer Setup
⏱️ Timeline & Strategy Update
Schedule Adjustment: The initial 7-day ultra-fast flip strategy (originally set for October 6) has been officially updated. Extending the vegetative phase after topping allows the plant to build a sturdy branch structure and maximize yield potential.
Next Major Milestone: Transplants into the 11L pot will take place next week once root development at the bottom of the current pot is visible.
📋 Current Status & Plant Observations
* Growth & Health: Sitting at around 20 cm in height, the plant shows exceptional vigor, compact bushy growth, and lush, dark green leaves with zero sign of nutrient stress.
Topping Recovery: The topped main node has healed cleanly. Both main tops along with the lower side shoots are actively growing upward to form a broad, multi-stem canopy.
Root Progress: No roots are showing at the pot drain holes yet. The plant remains in its current starter pot to allow full root ball development before repotting.
📅 Updated Timeline & Estimated Harvest Schedule
Phase 1: Extended Veg & Rooting (Oct 24 – Nov 1)
Next Week: Repot into the 11L final pot (Floragard Growmix) once roots appear at the bottom.

Farmer Setup
⏱️ Space Management & Setup Adjustments:
Move to the Middle Shelf: Since the rest of the room is currently running on the 12/12 flowering cycle while the clones in the propagation area strictly require 18/6, the layout was optimized. The Painkiller XL has moved together with the clones into the middle shelf section.
Height Clearance & Light Distance: Moving to the middle shelf gained about 10 cm of extra clearance from the LED panels. This prevents light stress and gives the plant plenty of headroom while staying on the 18/6 schedule.
Repotting Delayed: Translocating into the 11L final pot has been intentionally postponed a bit longer to allow the current pot to fully develop its root ball.
📋 Current Status & Plant Observations:
Growth & Development: The plant continues to show aggressive, vigorous growth and a very sturdy, bushy development.
Canopy Structure: Following the topping, the two primary topped shoots and the robust side shoots have stretched upwards nicely, forming a wide, balanced canopy entirely without extra LST.
Health Condition: Deep green, vibrant foliage with zero signs of deficiencies or stress. The main stem and branch networks are exceptionally well-established and strong.
🎯 Next Steps:
🔍 Root Check: Keep an eye on the bottom drainage holes. Once roots densely fill the base of the pot, the transition into the 11L final pot will take place.
? Space Management in the 18/6 Area: Keep the pots clustered tightly together in the shelf compartment so both the Painkiller XL and the clones can make optimal use of the 18/6 lighting.
⏱️ Flowering Flip Prep: Allow a brief root-settling period (3–5 days) after the upcoming repotting before making the final decision to move into the 12/12 bloom room.
