00110001001001111O Total Days - 0
Germinated four seeds of four strains for a total of sixteen. Only eight plants will be taken to the flower area. Heat mat is set to rest at 76F. A humidity dome is used to prevent any need to irrigate while they germinate, but will be removed at first signs of sprouting. I won't bother turning the light on for a couple days.
Should see some sprouts within 2-3 days. The rest will follow, shortly. I'll update with pictures to complete the germination week. Only the strongest will be taken to flower, but I will ensure that each strain is represented, too. I'll eventually split the diaries into individual plants in a few weeks when I know which make it. The average of sprout times will dictate when vege week 1 shows up - probably ~10 days from now.
An XS1500 (150w) light will be used the first couple weeks at 15-50% power as they require more light. Then, I'll bump up to a couple 226-watt DIY lights dimmed to 67% power after potting up to 1-gallons. Once they reach the flower area, they'll be in slightly under-filled 5-gallon pots and under two 650-watt lights which will cover roughly 35 sq ft of canopy. This is a little too much. I'm debating running them at 80%. But, running at 100% with a greater hanging distance will give better light penetration and a more even distrubtion of light across the canopy. I have nearly four weeks to waffle over that decision.
Hand-watering while it's small and manageable, and the irrigation and drain system will be setup in the flower area. Current water tank has a well-balanced mix of about 500ppm of fertilizer. Next refill will be up around 660 ppm, where it will stay until flower approaches.

Thank you to MSNL, Paradise Seeds, and Spliff Seeds for gifting a few strains. I have three more MSNL strains to grow in the 2027-2 diaries, which will start in late December - Cafe Racer, Carbon Fiber, and Cap Junky. HSC's Farmer's Daughter will be joining them, too.
