EdgarErpel Today the ladies were topped. The tops were turned into cuttings and are now in the propagation chamber. Clean work assumed, and each lady had her own tools used. Watered in Easy Plugs with osmosis water at pH 5.7. Cuttings were trimmed with a scalpel at a 45° angle, then dipped in Clonex and placed in the plug. They are now at 24-25°C with a relative humidity of 80-85% without a heating mat and with about 120 ppfd light (currently with a Sanlight Flex). Luckily, my lung space is warm enough, so I just need to let in some cooler air with a fan from outside. I sprayed the lid with water to increase humidity. Now I check daily 1-2 times and adjust the humidity if necessary. Next entry when roots are visible.
hey
I'm interested in your climatic conditions for cloning. My last 20 took 3-4 weeks until the plug was ready to be planted. I keep hearing from others that they take 7-14 days. I'd like to adjust based on the responses.
Cut clones let sit in cold water for a while. Cut on 45 degrees put stem in hormone. Place rapid rooters in a bowl of tap water with 4 drops of rapid start to a liter. Stick cuttings in rapid rooter. Spray with water Put a little bit of water with rapid start into bottom of tray Place dome on vents closed. I use a 45 watt light about 12 inches above dome 7 to 9 days later she will be rooted. I have a diary with clones are just rooted have a look.
