TheVomit Welcome everyone to my grow journal.
Originally, I was planning to start with three clones in 14-liter pots, but unfortunately, one of the clones already had powdery mildew when it arrived. I had to get rid of it because the mildew started spreading extremely quickly.
Unfortunately, the other two clones ended up getting it as well, but after a few weeks, it finally looks like the mildew has stopped appearing on the remaining two plants. I treated them with a fungicide, and I’m keeping the humidity below 50%.
I’ve trained and spread the plants out nicely using LST, and I switched them to a 12/12 light cycle four days ago.
So far, I haven’t given them any nutrients because they’re planted in AllMix, which should provide enough nutrition for about six weeks.

TheVomit I’ve had problems with calcium deficiency, and powdery mildew keeps appearing on individual leaves, even though the ventilation and humidity are good and I have two fans blowing air directly at the plants.
Hello everyone.
Unfortunately, powdery mildew has spread throughout this tent as well. Despite trying everything I could, I’ve decided that I’ll have to shut down this beautiful little garden tomorrow.
Since I’ve had to end two grows prematurely, most recently my Gorilla Z Auto, I’ve pretty much lost all motivation to start another one. I’ve even taken down one of my tents.
I still remember the days when we used to grow with 400W HPS lights and NEVER had any problems with our plants whatsoever. We adjusted the pH using litmus paper and basically just guessed. We didn’t know anything about nutrients, so we simply followed the instructions on the bottles. We had never even heard of VPD. Calcium deficiency was never an issue, and we never had to give our plants any Cal-Mag. Yet we still grew huge, healthy, strong, resin-covered plants without any problems.
And now, here we are. These days, you pay attention to every little detail and spend a fortune trying to get every single parameter just right, yet somehow the plants still end up looking like absolute crap.
I’ve honestly had enough of this, and I mean it. I refuse to believe that growing a damn weed plant is supposed to be this complicated, to the point where you practically have to turn your grow tent into a laboratory.
So, with that, I’m officially ending my GrowDiaries journey.
I’d like to thank everyone who regularly helped me and was patient with me along the way. And to those who made fun of me for various things, I have a few words for you too, but I’d better keep them to myself.
I wish everyone the best of luck with their future grows.
Take care,
Vomit
