LST420 Hi everyone!
Another round again and this time we have a very special strain that I'm really excited about. And it's a mystery why I haven't grown this strain before because it's autoflower cousin is one, if not my all time favourite strain. But this time we have the photoperiod version of the one and only: Mega Power Plant from Spliff Seeds!
On the photo you see how the seed sprouted inside a wet coffee filter that's inside a ziplock bag hanging on a dark place at room temperature.

LST420 Week 1
I planted the seedling in pure coco with Bio Tabs Orgatrex nutrient.
LST420 Week 4
This time I want to do as less work as possible and I'm also going for a relative quick growing period. For this I've repotted the plant into a 15 L Autopot automatic watering system. And because I want to have a relative quick harvest I'm not doing a SCROG this time so I'm going to let the plant grow with minimal training.
Ive added 3.5 Biotabs to the soil and plan to insert extra if needed. And my last remaining 26 grams of dolomite for magnesium (3 grams per liter soil is recommended).

LST420 I've decided to not top my plant and let her grow one nice big main bud. I'm only doing this because I'm also using a dehumidifier to prevent fungal growth otherwise I would top or LST her. I only did some leaf folding and minimal defoliation.
I want to reduce the difference in height of the main branch and the lower branches and because she believes too many conspiracy theories I gave her a little tinfoil hat as an experiment.

LST420 Week 7 'Sweet sweet dreams of flowers' πΉπ»πΌ
First week of flowering! π
I've been doing defoliation regularly and performed supercropping to some branches. Which is rolling and bruising a branch and flatten it so more light can reach the lower nodes. You do it by rolling it between your thumb and index finger while carefully applying pressure so it bruises and softens the inner core. Than you carefully bend the branch downwards to the desired direction. The thinner the branch the easier this is.
Be aware that this is a high stress training technique and could result in snapping the branch so only do this very carefully.
In previous diaries like the OG Kush Auto diary I show you how to fix it with duct tape in case you do partially snap it.
