85 -88f is fine as long as humidity matches - if you haven't already downloaded a VPD chart I'd recommend you do so as it might provide some reassurance or give you an indication of ideal growing conditions.

At the moment there isn't much you can do. I would upgrade the air system to get more flow and give them additional water to keep the roots cooled. And try to run the light during night time when temps are low. If possible, get air from outside to cool down your tent.

I agree with MMJMD, flip your light schedule. If your already using AC and running your exhaust fan at full speed, thereโ€™s not much more you can do. Air intake from outside would help but only if temps outside are cooler than inside- which can be tricky during the summer months. Some lights are just not well suited to certain spaces because of temperature concerns. If this remains a consistent problem, I would consider LED lighting as it produces considerably less heat while still offering excellent light coverage/penetration. Just a thought, good luck and all the best growing forward!

You might be pulling too much air out pulling your cold air out. Ac works best when it constantly circulates the same air. The cooler the air is when your ac pulls it in then the colder it will come out. What type of ac are you running?

@CRiSPrGrow,the crazy thig is when I put my hand like 1 to 1 and a half feet away from thel ight it's cool inside maybe I got a faulty temperature gauge it does not feel as hot as the gauge says inside my tent feels maybe 75 tops lol
CRiSPrGrow
CRiSPrGrow
@@mrmateo, yeah sounds familiar looool i got the temperature under control buy buying a (very f-ing expensive) fan with temp control on it 1330m3/h so yeah it did work and now i can put my hand fully on the cool tube with the light on no problem.
mrmateo
mrmateo
@CRiSPrGrow,lol I used a 600w hps my last grow with cool tube but no a/c the tent got so hot that the plants produced less then a cheap 300 watt led I got from ebay, temps is the hardest thing to keep in check my a/c is so cold it literally is freezing in the room my tent is in and still these high temps... I got extra ducting so looks like i'll figure a way to rig the ducting straight to my window a/c ha

@Cannibalgardens,yes new light they are cmh I always used hps or led, im glad it happened now I can know for the next grow, like you said learned a lesson lol, I am upgrading to a bigger tent next grow too ut the company told me in flower to lower cmh to 18 inches come to find out its supposed to be 24 inches to 30 inches so I will keep them at 30 inches height now until they bounce back from the stress

Them temps are on high range but if the humidity is on a 1 to 1 it be ok as long as you also have a high humidity with them temps , I have been dealing with same problem what temp being up there but as long as I had the humidity up my super lemon haze thrive and champed it all the way through the hot streak we had

@DILLIGAF,yea I have exhaust going out and a inline fan bringing cold air in,looks like I will have to just find a way to rig the cold air from my a/c straight to the tent...just don't know how I can get ducting to work on a window a/c unit, I also got a fan at the lights ...2 inline fans and 1 normal fan total on top of being in my air conditioned computer room lol
