mikemobes Both plants germinated great. Leaves are starting to get lime green and veiny indicating they are hungry for nutrients. Watering with 100 mL/day of pH 5.96 water no nutrients. Second pair of true leaves starting to emerge. CC's leaves are up and loving life! Great sign of a strong phenotype. Mixed next week's nutrient solution and i do have to say the pH was perfect, self balancing to 5.76--was pleasantly surprised😀.

mikemobes Babies are getting bigger. Slight lime greening of the leaves suggests the plants are ready for nutes. CC and Cheese leaves are pointing up--a great sign. Increasing the watering amount to 200 mL's--the coco is drying out in less than 1 day. Will update later in the week. Thinking of doing biweekly updates as opposed to daily ones. 7/9/19 --Cheese is doing very well. Starting to see some explosive growth. Cream Cookies is also doing really well. Im liking what i see so far in both plants. Cream Cookies sprouted really quick and is developing just as fast as cheese but in a different way. Both are looking really healthy. Unfortunately i had a Cream Cookies sprout perish on me, but it looked like it sprouted without any cotyledon. I kept watering it but it did end up perishing. Totally ok, im going to go with 2 plants this grow cycle and sprout two more plants while i flower the older autos out. Im hoping to find an optimal rotation that keeps me stocked with consistent medicine each month. Also looking to functionalize a raspberry pi to automate the watering process--so i can take a vacation lmao. Will update on 7/11 7/10/19 ----Cheese watered with 300 mL nutrient solution and Cream Cookies watered with 250 mL nutrient solution. --Cream cookies is growing in a very interesting manner--its growing larger all at once kind of like how you can increase the size of a picture in word. --Cheese is fucking killing it with the growth--Second set of leaves came in with 3 leaves--looking extremely strong--cant wait to FIM when the 4th node develops--growing to defoliate to expose the bud sites while doing LST in a clockwise vertical spiral. Overall excited to see how much i can increase yield hoping to get at least 50 grams per plant of 200% my last grows yield per plant. 7/11/19 --Both plants have grown a new node but are showing signs of overwatering--going to water tomorrow. Both plants are leaves up loving life. Going to water once the leaves droop--probably sometime tomorrow 7/13/19 --Cream Cookies is very sensitive to any overwatering and im currently working through a separate feeding protocol for cream cookies. --Cheese is absolutely thriving off the same feeding schedule which Cream Cookies isnt too fond of. None the less Cheese is doing really well. Just a little bit concerned about the purple stems which showed themselves overnight. All other growth is otherwise healthy so theres no reason to suspect anything other than genetics. JUST to be safe im going to up the Cal/Mg/Fe dose of next weeks nutrient mixture to 2 mL/gal. --Both plants seem to be responding very well to the nutrients, even showing signs that they want more. Slight discoloration of the veins (light green) as well as the surrounding leave indicate to me that the plant is overall healthy but in need of additional nutrients to thrive. Its still a healthy green just a lighter tinge than id like to see. Makes me feel good about upping to nutrient dose next week. --Distilled water was purchased for this weeks nutrient mixture, i want to see if it makes any difference (im guessing that it will)

mikemobes 7/14/19 --Cheese is doing overall really well; seems to truly thrive in all environments where Cream cookies on the other hand has more delicate genetics. --I bought a heat lamp to bring the overall grow room temp up into the 70<Temp<75 range. Went a little overboard--approached 80F and at that point the Cream Cookies started to show signs of stress--I turned the grow lamp off but it was time for a feeding so to test is the thirst or heat caused the droopage i gave a half dose of water. The plant didnt immediately improve but this morning made a full recovery. Im only going to use the heat lamp when my apartment's AC brings the temp into the <68F range. --I havent used a humidifier this grow because of the Leaf Septoria issues i ran into last grow. Doesnt seem worth it. I training the seedlings to lower %RH environments--It can be done!! 7/15/19 --Cheese is doing amazing, going to FIM most likely some time later in the week once the fourth node comes through --Cream cookies is doing much better, didnt water today just to observe and surprisingly bounced back. Going to hold out until she shows obvious signs of thirst 7/16/19 --I think I'm definitely overwatering my babies. Ive been suspecting overwatering on cream cookies, as every time I watered the droop got worse, not better. Haven't watered Cream Cookies goin on 2 days and Im seeing no droop, and the plant seems to be thriving. --Im overwatering on cheese as well. Started slightly drooping last night, feed it with 250 mL week 3 nutrient solution. Woke up this morning and she was drooping still--indicating to me that she didn't want that water when I gave it to her. Going to lay off on the watering for 2 days and see what happens. --Otherwise both plants are looking really healthy. There is no clawing and they are responding well to the nutrients. Third Nodes have popped on both plants. --Cheese Is on its fourth node--very close to FIMing. Excited as I think Cheese is really healthy and can handle it. Going to hold off on cream cookies FIM until I get the watering down. --WATERING IN COCO IS SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WATERING IN SOIL. Will update Friday. 7/17/19 --CC is doing really well-still no droop--definitely suspect overwatering --CC started fat drooping--watered with 250mL of week 3 nutrient solution --Not going to feed Cheese tonight because I think it is suffering mild stress from overwatering. I want to see what it looks like in the morning--suspect its still going to be leaves up-they seem to experience a healthy slight droop age cycle with the day/night cycle. 7/18/19 --Cheese was +5/10 leaves up--FIM done on the 4th node --CC is flourishing--doing really well --Just FIMed cheese. Decided to do it at the 4th node because Cheese is just looking really healthy. Definitely healthy enough to recover quickly. Should water tonight and would have if I didn't FIM tonight. Don't want to overly stress the plant as I don't think its looking for water--going to let it figure out what's going on before I feed again. 7/19/19 --Cheese responded well to FIMing I did. Still hasn't started drooping --CC is leaves up loving life.

mikemobes 7/22/19 --Came back from vaca to find that many failed FIM on Cheese did do something. It caused the undergrowth to vigorously catch up in length to the main stem. Did a better FIM on the 5th node to actually grow more nodes. --FIMed Cream cookies at the fifth node. --Going to start LST once both plants recover from FIM. Don't want to add additional stressors. 7/23/19 --Cream Cookies recovered really well from FIM stress and went leaves up (always super happy to see leaves up loving life) --Cheese as always is unstoppable. Doesn't seem like you can do anything to it it won't like and respond to with leaves up 7/26/19 --Went on vacation this week and set up the Wizen cam over the grow so I can monitor it. One of my coworkers was gracious enough to agree to come and water the plants upon my instruction based on my monitoring of the plants! --Watered on 7/25 with 350 mL of Week 4 nutrient solution. --From what I can tell the plants are really responding positively to both the FIM as well as the nutrient solution. There is zero clawing and the color of new growth is a beautiful deep green. When I get back I am going to start LST as well as do some defoliation to get some light down into the lower bud sites. Very excited. --Post FIM the plants are doing things exactly as expected. Initially the plant focused on the undergrowth and repairing the cut parts of tissue. After that was completed it became obvious that new main cola sites began developing from the FIM site. Very happy to see both branches on the first node finally reach the canopy. Im hoping the growth is so explosive ill have to LST all the branches--which would be great. --Extremely happy with these genetics and even more excited to see how these plants mature. 7/27/19 --From remote monitoring the plants are doing EXTREMELY well. Both plants have completely recovered from FIMing and what I can tell there are 4 new main cola branches growing out of the FIM site on both plants. Undergrowth had caught up to the main stem, and when I get back I'm going to start LST as well as some defoliation to really give ample amount of light to the girls. Im very confident that I will at least double yields when compared to my second grow.

mikemobes 7/28/19 --Super happy to see the plants doing this well. Ive found that every other day feeding is the best for these specific plants. Im a big proponent of only watering the plant when it signals it is ready for watering. The least possible amount of induced stress for these plants is the goal for me. Cheese seemed to be totally unaware of the FIM that was done on it, as it showed not even 1 sign of stress post FIM. Cream cookies is another story, she's quite sensitive to absolutely everything--including watering. I am super happy to see that the last fan leave on the 5th node has 9 leaves--a really good sign that the plant is doing extremely well. The more leave nodes on each leave the healthier than plant. There are zero signs of nutrient burn at all. It was difficult at first to see if the slight bending of the leaves was due to nutrient burn, but I later figured out that the leaves were pressing against the side of their pot and as a result bending--wasnt nutrient burn. Ive been varying the pH widely each week--with the attempt to be as random as possible. I want to make as many nutrients available to the plant as absolutely possible. I really am loving the Advanced Nutrients Sensi line. Im growing in coco but I bought the nutrient mix not designed for coco with the understanding there might be some potassium issues down the road. But otherwise as a chemist by profession, when I heard about the pH perfect line I was rightly skeptical. It will balance your solution to the correct pH range (5.6-6) IF you start with dead neutral pH 7.00±0.05 water with no dissolved salts (distilled water). the distilled water I've been buying (from Walmart) clocks in on the pH meter at around 7.6-8.6 which will cause the pH perfect technology to neutralize some of the dissolved ionic species and bring the pH well below safe range for cannabis. Ive found that if you pH the distilled water to 7.00--add your Ca/Mg/Fe, THEN add the pH perfect technology the range will be much more suitable. It was kind of annoying since my pH down is so much more concentrated than my pH up. Me problems I know but still annoying. --One of my amazing collages at work is going to water both babies today with Week 4 nutrient solution even though we are technically in week 5. My vacation has prevented me from mixing the solution to feed. --This vacation has brought so many new automation ideas to coco coir growing. Ive been developing a hypothesis that involves what I call the "level of droop age" and its correlation to plant thirst. It began when I was growing in soil and needed a better way of telling when to feed the plants instead of a fixed schedule, which seemed to be giving way too much water to the plants. ---Ive developed a "droop scale" which can be directly correlated to plant thirst. Ive also found that very happy plants that do not want water will go through a natural droop cycle as night approaches. I take this as the plants time to grow out its root system (happens at night). By the morning the leaves are pointing up in what I call "leaves up loving life" ---So the scale I've developed is kind of arbitrary but it does a really good job imo if you become very familiar with your plants. ---The scale ranges from -10 (the most droop in the leaves every observed) to +10 (the most extreme leaves up loving life ever observed). the scale is out of 10 not 20. ---lets say that you watered your plants today, and their leaves were at a -7/10 droop (what when I water my plants). If you water them you should observe no increase in droop--in other words after watering the droop should only improve not regress. If the droop increases after watering your plants wanted a little more time before their feed--so alter your droop scale until you find the level of droop that when feed causes only an increase in the droop. 6 hours after watering you plant droop should be >+1/10. The next day you should see your plants at least at +5/10 droop. ---Merging this scale with automation is going to be difficult as ill have to use an open source machine learning AI to learn when the plants droop is sufficient enough to justify a watering. I hope to set up the system to be automated or manually operated over the cloud. ---Using a Raspberry pi and an Arduino as well as a whole set of motor control boards and sensor boards I hope to put together an integrated system that can detect when the leave droop reaches critical levels using a camera, and feed accordingly. Ive been all over the internet and all automated grow projects rely on soil moisture sensors which only penetrate <4 inches into the substrate. This doesn't cut it for me as the root ball of the plant is way below that 4 inches of the sensor, yielding readings which only pertain to the top layer of soil, which just so happens to dry out the fastest. ---Im going to keep my grows at 2 plants each from no on--and I plan to make an automated system for both plants which can control watering to both plants individually. Im currently trying to figure out the best way to track volume of water dispensed. A flow meter with a know diameter tubing and a known diaphragm pump rate seems to introduce all sorts of inaccuracies into the mix. I think im going to design an automated measuring system that uses an ultrasonic distance sensor coupled with a camera and AI to fill up a the hopper to the desired volume of nutrient solution. ---I have all the hardware listed but im a complete dumbass when it comes to coding. My profession is chemistry, coding goes right over my head. I have an immense respect for coders as I honestly have no idea how you guys do it. Its like learning 15 different languages at once and using them all together. Blows my the ability of our society. The wide range of skills. Love it. ---If anybody would like to help me code this project it would be greatly appreciated. 7/30/19 -Cream Cookies is doing extremely well. FIM was a great idea. 4 new main cola sites came out of the FIM which im very happy about. The undergrowth also has caught up to the canopy. the canopy has a plethora of bud sites. Defoliation done to increase light to bottom branches. Largest fan leaves towards the canopy removed. FIM'ed leaves that opened up also trimmed, allowing more light to penetrate to those small bud sites. --Ive counted sites where main colas can form. Very happy with this HST I decided to do. --LST done and branches separated from each other so they can receive ample light. Thinking of adding supplementary 40W flowering bulbs for flowering. -Cheese FIM didn't work as intended but it did break the symmetry of the plant. One of the first branches has grown higher than the canopy and I had to tie it down using LST. Did some defoliation and going to do some LST later. --Some light stress spots on Cheese, makes sense since I wasn't physically at my apartment to raise the lamp. Before raising the lamp the plants were 14 inches from the light which is way too close. The closest it should be is 17 inches. Raised the lamp to 18 inches and spots are subsiding. --Being overly cautious ive increased the dose of Ca/Mg/Fe to 4 mL/gal incase spots are actually a Ca/Mg/Fe deficiency from explosive growth. 7/31/19 -Cream Cookies is showing beautiful pre flowers. Still recovering from light stress. Looks very similar to nutrient burn but only present in tip most growth suggesting light burn. 14 inches was way too close-vacation problems lmfao -defoliation done on both cheese and cream cookies to expose bud sites -LST done on both cheese and cream cookies to bring bud sites into the light -both plants fed 400 mL Week 5 nutrient solution-when I mix next weeks nutrient solution im going to reduce the concentration to 12mL/gal w/ 3mL/gal Ca/Mg/Fe. --I want to precent any nutrient burn plus plants are slightly stressed from defoliation and light burn from my vacation. -lamp raised to 19 inches to help aid in stress relief -plants are responding in a weird way to the watering. Not in a bad way-but in a different way--larger lower leaves are not drooping like in the past its just the much newer growth is drooping. Makes sense since newer growth has less developed support system. Makes me feel much better about my watering schedule. --Clawing which I suspected was due to light stress is getting better-especially after a feeding. 8/1/19 --Calcium deficiency just barely showing on midlevel fan leaves. Good thing calcium is a mobile nutrient. Going to readjust the nutrient solution ph to be 6.2-6.3. Been accidentally locking out calcium. --Defoliation done on both plants to expose more bud sites and to thin out the thick canopy so light can penetrate below. The hope is to defoliate correctly. If done right I won't have to lollipop. --Cheese has no preflowers yet--still in veg --Cream cookies looks like it started flowering. 2 preflowers were spotted earlier in the week. Surprised to see how fast the plant moved into flowering. Going to be feeding it with flower nutrients starting week 6. --Going to continue feeding cheese with veg solution until preflowers are observed.

mikemobes 8/5 -Fed both plants with bloom nutrient solution. Lowered the concentration of nutrients by 1 mL/gal--14 mL/gal seemed to be too concentrated. -Cream Cookies is just exploding with growth. As she gets older she's getting much less sensitive to things like watering--super healthy looking. -Ca deficiency spots have not worsened or spread which is exactly what I was looking to see. Last week I raised the pH of the nutrient solution to 6.25 immediately after seeing those deficiency spots--nutrient solution pH was too low and consequently locked out calcium. Fixed the issue and the plants are doing amazing. -Cheese has seemed to stopped explosive vertical growth and instead focusing on flowering. Going to do some more defoliation this week to bring the light down under the canopy. -Cream Cookies canopy was beginning to become uneven with respects to even height-some heavy LST was done on all of the nodes (>10) to again even out the canopy height. Cream cookies is going to go through its second stretch very soon. 8/6 -Cream Cookies is going through a hardcore stretch. Going to do some LST once the super stretching subsides. -Cookies is filling out and I have a feeling is going to go through another stretch soon. -Plants still look extremely healthy--really amazing how hearty these plants are. -The time lapse videos I've been making have been hugely helpful in identifying patterns in the plants' growth. It helps me identify when any drooping is just part of the normal day/night cycle of the plant. Its also really cool to see how it grows over time. -Fed both plants with 500mL nutrient solution 8/7 -Both plants responded to the most recent watering extremely well. The droop was no where near as substantial as past feedings. Makes me feel confident in nutrient solution concentration. Im not going to increase concentration of nutrient solution past 13 mL/gal. -LST done on Cream Cookies--some nodes were stretching and creating an uneven canopy. LST done to even out the canopy. -Defoliation and LST done on Cheese. Defoliation was done to allow for some light to penetrate the canopy and get to the lower bud sites. 8/9 -Both plants continue to absolutely thrive. They are both doing amazing. Great color. No issues so far. They are loving the nutrients, as am i. -Cream cookies is really really wanting to stretch to the stars right now which is kind of annoying since it makes making a even canopy rather difficult. -LST done on Cream cookies to even out the canopy. Pretty extreme LST--branches bent almost 90 degrees. -Cheese is a slow but steady grower. Seems to be focusing a lot on undergrowth rather than stretching which is good. Im hoping the main cola branches will be evenly distributed. -Cream cookies looks to have around 10 main cola nodes now. FIMing created 4 and LST brought the undergrowth nodes to the canopy. So very extremely happy with the FIM method. I personally don't even consider it a "High-Stress" training. Sure you cut the main stalk of the plant but its not like you are damaging the roots. Just new growth. ITs like a scrape for the plant, it just slaps a bandaid on and focuses on other growth instead. Super efficient training method. -Ive been doing defoliation around once a week to keep some breaks in the canopy to get light down into those node sites under the top of the main cola branches. -Cream cookies is around 2 inches taller than Cheese is with the evened out canopy which might become a problem as I continue to raise the lamp. Cream cookies is really stretching. 8/10 -Plants look amazing as always -Cheese raised 3' and put on "stilts" -Lamp raised back to 18 inches. -Both plants watered with 500mL nutrient solution -Cream cookies canopy FINALLY evened out. -Cheese LST evened the canopy out very well. Very happy with results.

mikemobes 8/11 -As the trends been this grow--both plants have responded very well to waterings. Im watering every other day allowing the substrate to dry out a little bit which encourages really good root growth. -I looked back to my previous grow diary to compare this grow to last at week 6 and oh boy am I blowing my old grow out of the water. Learning is a wonderful thing. -Stilts I put Cheese on seem to be working very well. Im starting to see a stretch on Cheese! Going to do some more LST to further even out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is really filling out and its undergrowth is really growing well. It's also starting to develop a strong odor! Awesome! A little bit about the nutrients: I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE NUTRIENTS! Not for the pH perfect technology but for how easy it is to feed my babies with these nutrients. I used to use General Hydroponics flour duo (micro and bloom) and that was such a huge pain in the ass to mix solutions. Every week would be a different ratio of both Micro and Bloom. Super confusing and really easy to screw up. This Sensi line from advanced nutrients is insanely easy. You just add an equal amount of both Grow/Bloom A+B in a specific concentration and that's it. All the necessary nutrients that the plant needs will be available for it if it needs it. It also doesn't burn my plants at all. At the beginning of my grow I was thinking of buying an TDS meter to tune the concentration of my nutrient solution. As a chemist, I felt I didn't need this as I can do the math and calculate TDS based on the species present in the concentrated nutrient solution--I never had to do this. Ive found that the best concentration to feed is around 13 mL/gal. Anything more is just too concentrated and my plants did not like it. SUPER HAPPY WITH THIS NUTRIENT LINE. LIFETIME CUSTOMER NOW. 8/14 -Both plants doing extremely well still with no issues. No Ca/Mg deficiency spots observed on any more leaves. -Canopy is getting quite thick once again-going to do defoliation this week. -Both plants are stretching like crazy--probably going to lower Cheese to encourage more of a stretch. -LST worked wonders evening out the canopy. -Cream Cookies is starting to really smell! -Going to sprout 2 more cream cookies plants this week with the hope to keep plants in a flowering rotation. The hope is to always have flowering plants under the lamp! 8/15 -Did some defoliation to create some breaks in both canopies to allow for some light to penetrate to the lower leaves -Original fan leaves started wilting and turning yellow so I trimmed them. -Trimmed lower fan leaves on Cheese: they were so big that they were blocking a huge amount of light to the newer growth. Id rather light hit the new growth than the old growth. -The differences in both plants are starting to show. There is a little satire (~30%) in Cream cookies and you can see it in the fan leaves. They just aren't as fat as cheese. Cheese fan leaves are so short and fat its really cool. Cheese is also growing a little bit shorter than cream cookies. -Makes sense since Cheese is a heavy indica auto flower while cream cookies is a indica dominant hybrid. 8/16 -Boy are both plants stretching. Lamp raised from 15 to 18 inches. -Flowering is in full swing for both plants. -Every other feeding cycle is going very well. Going to increase to 600mL next feeding. Curious to see how they'll respond. 8/17 -My last grow has all sorts of issues so I think its kind of comical that all of my entries this grow are about how nice the grow is going day by day. Really is awesome seeing the things you learn over time come to fruition. -Have three weeks of time lapse video, when you speed it up 8 times you can really see the explosive "stretching." it happens almost so quickly that it looks like the video skipped forward in time. Cant wait to post the final time lapse video at the end of the grow!

mikemobes 8/18 -Both plants just look really healthy and strong. Its funny how much you learn over time. I just looked back to my first grow and boy have I learned. Ive at least tripled the canopy of each plant in comparison to last grow. I really like the FIM method. -Going to increase the water of each feeding by 50 mL. Going to feed today with 600 mL solution and see how the plants respond. Based on past feedings they should respond with only an increase of droop. -Droop scale developed a few weeks ago still holds true today. Its the way I decide if they need a nice watering. -Leaves are looking very healthy. Looks like cream cookies is going to start changing colors soon. Excited 🤩 -Time lapse camera is acting all sorts of wonky. Im hoping the issue corrects itself soon--the time lapses are very informative of growth patterns. 8/20 -Both plants absolutely loving life. Doing really well and looking very healthy. -Every other day watering cycle is working amazingly. -Cream Cookies is really starting to smell wonderful as the trichomes come in. Small amount of orange hairs spotted on some of the canopy buds. -Time lapse camera is not working well--unfortunately 8/22 -Got the time lapse camera working *provisionally* although its still giving me issues. -Cream cookies is really starting to fill out. Most of the branches seem to be "main cola" branches as plant symmetry was broken around week 4. -No visual signs of stress, light burn, nutrient deficiency, of any other issues that might arise. -6.2-6.3 pH has been working wonders, plants really seem to respond well to them. Going to sprout 2 more Cream cookie plants during Week 9. Going to build a plant pot platform that can be raised so the new seedlings are close enough to the light. 8/23 -Some defoliation done on both plants, more-so on Cheese, its realllllllly thicc. Like oh boy so thicc im very excited about Cheese. Im smoking some of last harvests Cheese right now coming off a 2 month cure and OH BOY is it nice. Amps me up even more for harvest in 4 weeks 🤩

mikemobes 8/25 -Plants responded well to the increase on volume of water fed. Im really liking the +50 mLs a feeding (every other day) -Only a few of the oldest leaves have started wilting. This is normal and expected as those leaves have been used and abused the worse. I left them on originally because it seemed the plant was pulling nutrients from those two leaves specifically if there was any kind of deficiency. As I took care of the Ca/Mg/Fe issue a few weeks ago those spots went away. -The canopy is so damn thick defoliation doesn't allow for light penetration down to the coco. 🤷‍♂️🏻🤷‍♂️🏻 -I really shouldn't complain since these plants are definitely going to harvest big. Very excited -Building 4 separately raisable platforms so I can start growing my Fall plants. Only have 1 light, limited space for my grows but I don't want to waste a month of vegetation. If the platforms work as designed I am very confident ill be able to grow staggered harvests. The goal is to always have weed ready and cured for me to smoke. Buying from dispensaries is getting to be too expensive. -Went back and re red some online forums about growing in coco as I had no experience going in. All the forums said to essentially flood the coco on a daily basis. I have no idea how that is successful--when I tried that I almost killed my plants. Listening to the plant and reading its signals is WAY more efficient for me. The time lapse allows me to look at the plants normal day/night trends. SUCH a good idea plus it makes for a really great video at the end of the grow. 8/26 -NEw nutrient solution made. Same nutrient concentration and strength. -Cheese lowered 1.5 inches on its stilts. Its definitely stretching according to the Time Lapse -Cream Cookies smell is getting stronger and stronger every day. Cheese is the first smell to start developing. -Slight color change starting to occur on Cream Cookies. -Its beginning to become more obvious that Cream Cookies is transitioning focus from maintaining older leaves birthed in early vegetative growth and transitioning to only focusing on bud production. Lower growth is beginning to wilt out. A Natural lollipop if you will. 8/30 -Cream cookie buds are really really really starting to thicken and fill out. Looks like the final buds are going to be quite dense. The smell is really developing on cream cookies. Cant really put my finger on the exact smell but there is a definite strong cheese odor followed by a strong earthy smell. No sweet/citrus smells yet. -Cheese is flowering completely differently from cream cookies. It seems three of the main cola branches are going to yield absolutely huge buds. These main cola bud sites are stretching and small flowering nodes dominate the landscape of the branch all the way from the soil line to the canopy. It seems like the flowers are going to really fill in around the branches. -Lower branches of Cream Cookies starting to become more rigid, taking on rigid character of the main stem. Makes me think that the buds are becoming sufficiently heavy that the plant needs to reinforce some branches to avoid bending over and falling. Love to see it. -Slight signs of stress observed, going to reduce concentration of bloom nutrients to 11 mL/gal. Still should have all the nutrients the plant needs just in a less concentrated solution.

mikemobes 9/2 -Cream Cookies Trichomes at 90% Clear, 10% Cloudy, 0% Amber. Im a lover of a good heavy indica and usually allow the plant to mature until it reaches 0% Clear, 90% Cloudy, 10% Amber. -Cheese is towering some main cola sites with thick flower development. Going to develop into massive colas. (Cheese has historically taken 2 weeks longer than other plants to mature and is around 2 weeks behind cream cookies. There is still a possibility she explodes with flowering growth in the coming week.) -Lowering dose of nutrients to 12 mL/gal until harvest. 9/3 -Cream Cookies is beginning to change color and dump its fan leaves. Going to allow the plant to do its thing. Don't want to cut the leaves early as the plant is most likely using those fan leaves as a source for mobile nutrients for the rest of the plant. Going to let nature keep its "nutrient batteries" if you will. The plant built up its healthy leaves only to use them later when it doesn't need them anymore. I love nature and the cycle of plant life. Just mesmerizing. 9/4 -Rotated the plants so I could get a better vantage point for cheese and holy shit. Cheese has grown so thick that a major major defoliation was needed just to expose slightly under the canopy to some light. The plant is also growing absolutely huge colas. HUGE. like 8-10 inch colas with flowering buds thickly covering the stem. On these colas you can't even see stem. Im so excited what a pleasant surprise -Cream cookies is beginning to change colors indicating its entering the final stages of flower and is on par to be harvested right at the beginning of week 13. 9/6 -Rigorous defoliation done on both Cheese and Cream Cookies. -Beatiful aromas are dominating my dwelling. Gotta love the natural dankness smell. Ahh home sweet home. Anyway both plants are developing extremely well. -Cheese is towering and developing later kind of, weird growth pattern but if it produces dank thick colas ill be very happy. Cheese is definitely going to stay flowering longer than her sister cream cookies who I'm going to flush next week and harvest in 7 days! Very excited. -Cream Cookies buds are developing very nicely. Accidentaly forgot to raise the lamp 2 inches and as a result the plant got a little stressed and one of the buds got a little light burn on its baby fan leaves but no actual bud damage. Going to leave the leaves on until they begin to become an issue.

mikemobes 9/8 -Checked the trichomes on Cream Cookies to my surprise she's almost ready! She was at 5% Clear, 90% Cloudy, 5% Amber. Started flushing this week. Already beginning to see leaves yellow which is exactly what I'm looking for. -Buds are really filling out and the plant is absolutely resin packed. Comparable to a photoperiod. Very happy with these genetics -Hoping to yield tripple digits! 9/14 -Cream Cookies Harvested today and began to hang dry! Haven't got any weights yet as I think wet weight is irrelevant. Will update final numbers in around 1 week when flowers are dried properly and begin curing! Very Amazing smell. Notes of pineapple, citrus, and a sweet smell. Very pleasant smell. Extremely potent as well.

mikemobes Cream Cookies was such a fun plant to grow. It germinated extremely fast, popping out of the peat pellet at ~3 days. It takes about two weeks from germination for the plant to really get its root system to the point that it can support explosive vegetative growth. Once you're at the explosive vegetative growth stage (Week 2-5) the plant absolutely shoots up and stretches to the moon. LST works wonders to expose lower bud sites and break symmetry of the plant. FIM can be used to stop main stalk vertical growth and transition the plant to build up its already present flowering nodes. At Week 5 preflowers become apparent. The plant then experiences a second stretch and subsequent explosive bud growth. From that point the plant doesn't grow vertically but instead horizontally. Curating its fan leaves and growing to be just an absolute beast. If your phenotype sticks around in veg for just a week longer, you'll see the plant just become a behemoth. Im still working on my technique but my goal for this grow was to triple my per plant yield compared to nay last grow and I did that! I had 1 plant going and the dry bud weight is 45gs. Im extremely happy because the buds are just beautiful. Im learning so much! Im hoping my third grow I can double my yield from this grow! My phone broke so ill update with photos of the buds when I can.
