Agree. Can't always trust color of pistols but you do have a bunch of erect white pistols. Wait till they recede and check trichomes if you can. Best cheapest way is a jewlers loupe. Harvest window starts when your full cloudy. I like to see a light Amber tint not much Amber and I chop after 48 dark period.
Not all strains pistols turn color but they do shrink to the bud. Your are standing straight up. Best way is to look at the trichome on bud not any leaves ignore those. And you want a ratio of 5 to 20% amber the rest milky white depends on the high you like. Another thing to go by is to go a week or two after the breeders says it's ready

Pistils can be a clue, if you noticed that new pistils have stopped appearing and old pistils have almost all turned red and curly, but the best way to ensure it's the right time is to look at the trichomes with a magnifier/microscope. Clear/Transparent/Skinny trichomes mean it's too soon, Milky/Cloudy/Fat trichomes mean the harvest window is open, Amber trichomes mean the harvest window is ending, and THC is degrading.
