This was more fun than I imagined! Had mostly good weeks with the exception of week 4 or 5 when I accidently topped her but being the champ she was she bounced right back and gave me some beautiful little colas. Wish I would have bought more seeds of this one! Will give another update after dry and some cure. Thanks for checking out my grow 🙏✌️😤 Update number 1 Got 38 grams dried and got it curing up. Taste pre cure is pretty good. Looking forward to trying it each week thru the curing process. All in all took 1 week to dry ✌️🙏

Hi @Oregreenian! You still have a few days to go through, at least 2 weeks. Honestly no one can tell better than you (with the help of a magnifier/microscope)! Pistils can be a clue, if you noticed that new pistils have stopped appearing and old pistils have almost all turned red and curly, but the best way to ensure it's the right time is to look at the trichomes with a magnifier/microscope. Clear/Transparent/Skinny trichomes mean it's too soon, Milky/Cloudy/Fat trichomes mean the harvest window is open, Amber trichomes mean the harvest window is ending, and THC is degrading. Looking at your last pictures, I think you're very close, maybe 14-16 days, but you rather buy a 2$ hand-held microscope to ensure your buds are fully ready. Hope this will help, let me know in the comments section if you need any further information, and happy growing! 👊

Try to dry her slowly over a period of 5-7 days or longer if possible. I usually keep the humidity at 55% for the first 2 days then raise it up to 60%. then at about the 3rd-4th day take the smallest buds off and put them "loosely" in to jars with a digital hydrometer your goal is to get them down to 62% humidity. Repeat with the medium sized buds in a few days then the larger ones last. If they are 64-66% you can just take the top off the jar a few hours a few times a day until you reach 62%. If they are 66% or higher take them out of the jars for 4 to 6 hours to let them air out then put them back in the jars you may need to repeat this a few times. Once you reach 62-63 % humidity I add a Boveda 62% humidity pack in the jar. This starts the cure stage. I would briefly open the jars and let some fresh air in a few times a week take note of the smell when you take the lids off. Make sure it doesn't smell like ammonia or musky. It should change from a bit of chlorophyll smell during the first week to a more recognizable smell a week or two later. So I typically dry for 1 week. Then cure for at least 2 weeks then I sample some smoke for potency and smoothness. You will find that after curing for 3-8 weeks the smell and smoothness continues to improve. Good luck hope this helps. Enjoy your harvest.😊
