This has been rather stressful for me since it is my first grow. Initially germinated 5 seeds, only 3 sprouted. I'm gonna germinate another 2 TD seeds to replace the duds. The weird growth on the #2 and #3 has got me panicked. But I figured it was due to the over saturated jiffy pellet i had used to germinate them. I'm gonna try to let the jiffy pellet dry slightly by reducing the water level in my DWC bucket. Maintaining below 30C temp has been a nightmare due to the climate in my country. Constantly misting the tent in attempt to maintain a humidity above 50% and turning the exhaust fan off at some point. Cal mag I used is highly concentrated, so the amount I used is way below the recommended bottle instructions.

I'm just wondering the the curling on the cotyledons are an anomaly caused by my mistake or is it normal behaviour for some seedling to grow certain ways?

Your issues are definitely from overwatering. It is usually not a good idea to put your starter cubes or pellets into dwc until you have a good size taproot coming out of the bottom. It is really easy to suffocate them until the roots come out. I would take it out for a day or so and let it dry out. Good luck with her!

I had the initial mistake of overwatering the jiffy pellet before the seeds germinate which caused #2 and #3 to stunt. But both plants are now making its come back and back to growing bigger. 2nd true leaves has started to show on both #2 & #3. All I did to fix the issue was to let the pellets dry for 2 days and waited for more roots to develop. #1 seems to not care at all about the overwatering and just going about her business and growing. I had just germinated 2 more seeds in hope to replace #2 & #3 but since they're making a comeback I will just continue growing #4 & #5 along with the rest of the girls. I am adding a small amount of nutrient of Growth Technology Formulex at 1ml/l to #1, #2 and #3 this week. But, I am going to wait for 4 more days before i actually add Formulex. This is because the Cal Mag I have fed them earlier contains all the necessary nutes they need for now. I am going to also add some microbial innoculant at the same time namely bacillus a. and some Effective Microorganism Innoculant, EM1 to protect the roots at this early stage. The reason why I wanna do this early is because of the climate I am in, and the temperature here can reach around 36C. At certain point even with AC on, I will still get a temp of max 31 in the tent. To counter this, I misted the tent every 6-8 hours(which seems to bring down the temp) and occasionally airing out the tent. With AC on full blast the temp will range around 26 to 27. I couldnt have imagine trying to grow with HPS/HID as they emit a large amount of heat and that in turn will lead me to needing to cool the room much more.

Plants are growing very nicely. I am happy with how #1 is growing obviously its growing very steadily. #2 and #3 are a bit on the smaller size but its not a big deal. They will eventually create some nice buds hopefully at the end if they continuously grow as they are now. The white spots on the leaves and buckets are not mildew, those are residue from my microbial innoculant Foliar Spray to help prevent root rot. Maintaining temperature has been hard to be below 29C but I do full blast AC during hot spots. Humidity I keep it around 50% but still occasionally spray trhoughout the day if I could. I notice formulex is highly diluted compared to my other nutes.

Those white spots are my microbial innoculant foliar spray. This week, nothing much to update, just that the plants are growing well for now. Ive started LST on the girls and they are getting bushy especially #1. She has been an ace throughout the grow. This week I'll be slightly increasing light intensity and nutes.

This week has been rough, LOL. I made a mistake when I LST #2 because it was tall and I LST a bit too hard. I broke the main stem halfway through 2nd node atleast and the plant immediately stunted. I've learned my lesson to take LST slowly and make the angle as I go. As for #1 and #3, they're both growing so bushy I dont even know where to tie them down anymore. They're both so short standing at 13cm from the pot. For now, I'm still gonna try to push the ppm to 1000 for my #1 and #3 since they're growing well. I'll have to see how they react to it and adjust accordingly. I'm now expecting the stretch right before flowering.

What can I say, the strain is amazing, it is literary monstrous. The growth spurt from week 5 to 6 has been insane and now standing at 30cm tall. The girls have been drinking at least 4 litres a day. TD#1 is more than 2 feet wide at 30cm tall its ridiculous. I have noticed #1 is a different phenotype than #2 & #3 because of the difference in leaves sizes as #1 has smaller leaves as compared to #2 & #3. Looking forward to seeing how these girls grow out in later stages.

The plants are stretching like crazy. The girls are getting so bushy that my 5 by 5 feet setup is getting crowded. The bush is growing beyond the 20l buckets. The size of the girls are insane. I've added a supplementary light to cover the edges of #1 since it's growing so big. I've increased the ppm to 1200 and try to see how the girls react. I feel like I'm pushing it to the limit with the feeding by now so I have my fingers crossed.

The girls are roughly at day 49. What more can I say aside from the girls are beasts! They are growing insanely huge, I can't imagine having to grow 5 girls following my initial plan in my 5 by 5 feet tent. Best I could fit was probably 4 plants with this strain. They are insanely resilient with my early mistake of overwatering them in the early seedling stage, yes, I did almost screw it up in the first week. But now, they came back strong and big. I've upped the PPM this week to 1300. Increased my EM1 dosage with some added molasses. The girls are drinking so much water I have to top the nutes feeding every other day if not every day. I can see the girls are far from being done. Definitely going to be more than 11 weeks from seed. These girls are probably just halfway there.

@DILLIGAF, Thanks for the answer mate, as I have said to laBOSSNOVA, I'm gonna dry them out for a few days and see how it goes. Its a good thing I bought some extra seeds in the case of things like this happens as seeds take forever to reach my country 😂

@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks for the input mate, will be trying to dry them out for a few days and see how it all goes. Its unfortunate to see these good seeds go but if it comes to that, oh well. live and learn, live and learn.

You're plants look like thier doing really well, I'm also doing a couple of Dutch Passion strains - AutoGlueberryOg and Auto Critical orange punch. I've defoliated it and it's doing pretty well tbf. Its pre flowering/ pre flower stretching. Happy growing

Another note, #1 and #3 have shown sex at around 23 days old.
