- Sensi Seeds Research
The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank.
For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department.
- 7 weeks in soil (week 7), this is where the ScrOG is a good method to keep on vegging your plants without getting too tall, saving space for the future stretch. Indoor growers are limited by the ceiling, this is the best way to keep on growing roots, more roots more fruits π
Sensi Seeds strains are perfect, itβs a pleasure to grow such genetics, everything is going like expected, each plants are doing their thing very well and dose respond marvelously to the plan, in time with no delays due to shitty or sick and weak plants ! π
- For the beginners :
Setup the first trellis on the top layer, then lower each corners to the bottom level, smashing the plants and the 2 main stems to the third node where the topping has been done (see previous weeks). You will gain approximately 30cm of growth, and you will be able to keep on vegging them without getting to tall, as mentioned more roots = more fruits, and you will avoid long legs (donβt grow legs!!! They will have to be trimmed later on) where all the popcorns and small buds tend to grow. Remember, you are here to learn how to knock a ball out of the park, this method is complete, you avoid plants getting too tall and finishing with your buds too close from the light, killing all the essentials oils and terpenes (you will kill flavors and scents), you avoid to grow legs finishing with tall plants and just a ball head of canopy, you avoid small buds and popcorns by applying the incoming method in the next weeks where you learn how to clean your legs .
Then , once you smashed the plants with the first trellis (youβre supercropping by doing this bro) , the junction of the stalk (at 3rd node) will probably split in half, no worries it will heal by itself. You just need to put second trellis on top !
-Watering and feeding, that is the question ? π
Iβm looking the leaves lol π
They are around 2l every 4 days at this stage , Iβm not watering until drains come out for the moment, Iβm keeping all the good stuff inside the pots another week or two.
(Iβm looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control π)
Well im super stoked then cause im a newb i got one grow under my belt and am always looking for the best journals with most information so this is awsome .. Looking forward to seeing these genetics from beggining to end brother cheers..
@JUNGLE_B4RNS,yes absolutely i have a small 300 watt led a 2x2x4 tent and that gave me enough to get some solid buds but im looking and listening to what works and ill go from there , i love how many different types of techniques there are out there but yes you are right..
@Cannibalgardens, I always try to make it cheap as possible, even with energy consumption ! But you must understand it still needs a minimum of investment to grow decent quality and quantity.
@@Resin_Randy, Thanks buddy, I do agree that this crop is spectacular. I knew what I was going to get with Sensi Seeds old schools strains, but those new genetics are perfect too !
@Cannibalgardens, when you find your way here, youβre on the easiest way to success π Growing Cannabis is easy and fun π You just need to look and understand your plants βοΈ
I can see you are the man, you probably also live in Canada as myself. I'm actually doing a micro version of what it looks like your doing. I just had a successful crossing of Landrace Thai cross with Gorilla Girl, nice strain so far. Looks like you are doing some cool genetic stuff, I hope you get your employment. I will follow your grows.
Wow the growth week over week is crazy good and they are healthy as can be great grow diary love it man very easy to follow and see the work paying off .
@DILLIGAF, correct ! #SensiSeedsResearch have plenty of others growers testing these new strains, to be able to compare all these phenotypes in a short time I guess.
Lovely as always! Have you ever thought about doing some herbs (i.e. oregano, basil, thyme) down below the cannabis? Some species act as pest deterrents besides being good for cooking (not to say your grow has pests, being preventative never hurts). Happy Growing!
@JUNGLE_B4RNS,
mate ,i live it just like youπ...
even after a full day of work or anything else , I never weigh still work with plants ...sometimes it's almost better than the final use ...
in the end it's the same feeling you get when you are in the woods, in the middle of nature...
relax, no thoughts and a positive soul.. only the illegality factor takes away a bit of serenity...
past that, everything will be even more beautiful
ππππ
@Belverde, itβs my secret garden, itβs like a relaxing therapy when you see them moving under the airflow, it does like a wave swiping on the canopy... that goes back and forth, I could stay hours watching this while dreaming about a massive grow operation π
I'm actually looking into possibly trying Back Domina in my next cross breeding. As soon as I cough up the coins for Black Domina seeds I want to cross it with Ladrace Thai and My Miss Thailand, a little threesome in my mini breeding tent. Because both are monster growers and I want to mix some short indica that has some juicy Indica genetics.
