The older plants really found their stride this week and have put out some good growth so hopefully it'll be exponential from here on out. I'll probably pinch the smaller one this afternoon.
The bugs have become more interested in the autos this week so I sprayed with a little Safer brand Neem oil concentrate.
@Fibro_Witch,
Yeah she was nice and I am trying to do just that with 5 gal pots and hopefully some luck. Would like to fill our yearly needs of CBD with this grow :)
Outside yeah we were a month late not so much due to just cold as cold and cloudy. I can fight cold heat rain and wind , I cannot fight no sun.
The autos took a hell of a hit and the photos are behind but catching up. Will never put an auto out again before July LOL
@rhodes68, *waving to you from across the country* spring was very late this year. Wasn't able to put my photoperiods outdoors til a couple weeks after when I did last year. Your CBD Crack diary from 3 months ago looks like you had a really nice plant there. I don't know if I can top that one!
I would absolutely pony tail those as they seem to be getting LOTS of light now. Pick a time when you know weather will be sunny for a few days running but dont wait long you will flower like any day now. Looking good!
@Fibro_Witch,
I have one on the current grow that is expressing sativa in the worst way, height. Had to bend Becky to keep the canopy working but also decided to slow down that main a bit so continuing the ponytail for a few more days or I see it needs to end. Havent seen this done so kind of curious how it works.
@rhodes68, Thanks! I should have done it sooner, I remembered reading that this strain does well with ponytailing and I forgot, but then I saw your post from this week and it reminded me, so thank you! We're getting dumped with rain right now, but this weekend should be nice and clear.
@Wachsemilian, Thank you very much! I just went through and edited the photos (I uploaded them in a hurry, and they look like crap) so I'll be swapping those out! But they won't be nearly as nice as yours😉
Yes its easy to fall in love with the little plants, they have proven perfect for indoor growing and while they will grow outdoors (weather being most critical variable) its really not what they do well.
Pot size seems critical, I have about ten 3 gallon pots I may never use again as 5 gal are working out so well I dont ever see going back. Ah well they work for tomatoes and peppers as well :)
We plan to "assembly line" these during the cold weather soon to arrive hoping for an indoor four plant harvest every month or so which you cant really do with photos.
