Began Germination on Friday 07/05 and then potted the plants the following Saturday morning. Pictures are as of Tuesday 07/09 so 4 days from germination. Both the Fruit Punch Auto and the Dark Purple Auto have broken the surface, with the Northern Lights lagging behind just so slightly. It makes sense, however, because the NL seed had cracked the least. All 3 still under make-shift humidity tents, with spot watering. No Nutes, until they're a bit bigger.

Week ending 07/16. So the Fruit punch has been cruising right along, absolutely the fastest growing of the 3. The dark purple was struggling at first, and the Northern Lights is moving right along. I believe the dark purple seedling needed to have a humidity dome on it a little bit longer, coupled with the lights being a bit too bright initially for it. It has fully recovered as of this week, and they seem to all be cruising right along. Still too early for any nutes, and I've added some soil to the top of each plant to help strengthen the stem support, as well as top off their pots. At this moment, I'm assuming the smaller growth on the NL and the DP are due to genetics more so than the early on issues, as they appear to have fully rebounded by this point. Only time will tell.

Week Ending 07/23. Growth was a little slow for me, so I brought the lights down a bit, and it seemed to due the trick. Leaves started showing a small amount of discoloration, so I decided to start adding nutes. Warm week, low humidity, but the plants seem to be thriving with the changes. Some spots on some leaves that I have attributed to droplets on the leaves leading to the light burning. Growth doesn't account for the 2 inches of soil added to top off the pots. Continuing to monitor them for changes due to nutrients. Sprayed the inside of the tent with some RO water to help with the lack of humidity.

Week ending 07/30. Plants were moved into the left side of my 4x8 tent, with similar lightning. Dropped the lights down to about 25 inches from canopy, and also moved light drivers to tent exterior to help with high heat. Added 3 liter container of water to help with humidity. Reduced direct fan blowing to reduce friction on plants, but increased overall circulation. Plan to top off bags with straw to help retain water in the topsoil this week. Overall, these plants are moving right along!

Week Ending 08/06. Most recent watering, I decided to do plain PH'd water. Added container of water to the tent to help mitigate low humidity and it seems to be helping. The northern lights seems to be a bit underperforming, but the Dark Purple and Fruit punch have both begun their flowering cycle. I plan on switching to flowering nutrients for next feed. Will continue to monitor the NL, but the other two are moving right along!

Week ending 08/13. These girls are moving right along, and I've noticed a few deformities that I'm attributing to their genetics. Had to back way off on the nutrients, and may still need to on the Dark purple, as they're clawing really hard. The plants have remained bush, but with slight stretch going on. Did some PH'd plain water to help flush out the nutrients in the soil, which seemed to help, but may need a bit more. Backed off the lights a few inches to aide in the heat dissipation.

Week ending 08/20. Plants had some droop going on due to lack of water while I waited for my new PH tester (other one shit the bed. Gave them a full nutrient feed, except the dark purple, which was plain PH'd water as it was showing some nitrogen toxicity signs (clawing leaves). Did some minor defoliation of yellowing growth on all the plants, as well as major fan leaves that were covering some bud sites. Overall, awesome week of growth, buds starting to fatten up quickly!

Week ending 08/27. So after a full week of only PH'd water, the Dark purple has fully rebounded from what I believed to be a Nitrogen toxicity. Leaves no longer hook down and fan right out. Switching back to a nutrient schedule in the coming week. Went an extra day without water but they really didn't suffer, did some light defoliation of discolored leaves. Also dropped the lights to about 18 inches above the tallest plant.

Week ending 09/03. Switched to a lighter nutrient schedule, which has been working very well. Only use nutrients once per week and 2 waters of plain water average 2 times per week (typically water 3 times a week.) Plants have been moving right along, the Fruit Punch has really started to fill out. I was expecting the Dark purple to have a bit more color by now, but will continue to watch as it goes. The Northern lights I had thought was dwarfed early on due to less than excellent growing conditions, but has preformed well above expectation!

Week ending 09/10. Fed nutrients on 09/07 without Grow big; Fed again on 09/10 with plain Ph'd water only. These girls are done stretching now, and they're really starting to fatten up their budsites. Plenty of new bud growth, and they're loving their environment. I expected them to be a bit stunted based on their starting conditions, however they're moving right along nicely!

Week Ending 09/17. While these girls are really starting to girth out, I'm a little disappointed thus far into the Dark Purple as there's almost no color change which I know could be attributed to the warmer weather we had during her season. The Northern Lights however has started a gorgeous fade, and has really started to impress me, where she seemed like such a runt compared to the Vision genetics in my other diary. Few more weeks of growth left, but very happy with the results this far in!

Week ending 09/24. Have switched to plain PH'd water, as these girls are close and in their last couple of weeks of flower. Most of the trichomes are cloud, but still a significant amount of clear. I'm going to wait until I start seeing some amber scattered throughout, as they're almost existent currently. The Northern Lights has some serious purple going on, and while the Dark Purple has some quality nug growth and it looks very nice, I'm disappointed in the lack of purple that these genetics claim. Can't complain on a freebie seed though. The Fruit Punch has a small amount of fox-tailing going on on the top of all of its buds, and i'm starting to think it's a genetic thing, because 4 other plants under the same condition haven't had any issues. All the buds ares starting to tighten up and are getting wider, so everything's going smooth!

While the outcome of the buds was incredible, I have to give the strain a 5 star, due to the serious lack of purple its advertised for. Unless this one was a one off genetically, I have to seriously doubt the deep deep purple that's advertised. While it was grown in a rather warm climate, I can't imagine the serious lack of purple was due to climate completely, there was almost no purple coming from the genetics. I would like to give Delicious seeds the benefit of the doubt here as a one off, because the overall output and resistance of the plant was incredible. I would absolutely grow again, and plan to!

Harvested on 09/29/2019 at about 10:00 PM. Hung to dry, for just over 9 days at about 65% humidity. 90.4 grams of premium buds, and about 32 grams of popcorn and larf. Overall, this strain had some serious output for its size. Other than the lack of purple, the buds were nice and fat and super dense! I can't get over the fact that there was almost no purple color, and I'm hoping this is a one off. I have another seed, and plan on growing it over the winter to see how it goes! Happy with the overall outcome, and glad to put another successful grow in the books!

I've grown quite a few different strains of Northern Lights Auto from many breeders, and in my honest opinion, Royal Queen Seed's genetics put the rest to shame. Plant stays relatively short, but will shock you with its overall output. Nugs stay super dense, and it's a very resistant plant. Really starts to to show some beautiful autumn colors towards the end, and it smells incredible: very woody, with some fruitiness mixed in. I recommend anyone who loves this strain, to check out Royal Queen Seeds genetics, for an easy to grow, resilient, over-0preforming strain. 10./10, would grow again!

Harvested on 09/29/2019 at about 10:00pm; hung to dry for about 9 days, and trimmed then jarred on 10/08. 92.5 grams of gorgeous nugs, with another 19.1 grams of trim and larf. The color profiles and smells coming from these buds pre-cure are incredible. Was a super easy grow, and got super hungry towards the end. Love the overall product, and absolutely my favorite genetics from a Northern Lights Auto thanks to Royal Queen Seeds! Would absolutely grow this strain again!

This plant foxtails pretty hard, but other than that very easy to grow. Resiiant strain, and Heavyweight seeds did an awesome job. The overall product was above average, but nothing to write home about. Will update this review after a couple of weeks of curing. Not sure if I would grow again, just because there are some better options out there, and nothing really incredible about this strain. Not bad for output though, and a quick flower time!

Plant was harvested on 09/29/2019, at around 100:00pm. Plant was hung to dry for about 9 days, at 65% RH, and trimmed and jarred on 10/08/2019 evening. Buds have an incredible smell, and have some serious density to it. I feel like a lot of the smell is trapped behind a great cure, and we will find out in the coming weeks. This strain isn't something to write home about, just your avergae preforming bud. The foxtailing due to genetics, while normal, made deciding when to harvest a tad difficult if you're a beginner, but I just waited until I was happy with out put. Smokes very smoothly, no burning, but lacks an incredible smell at this time. Will update after a few weeks of curing.
