Started in a jiffy pellet in my room, transferred to 5 gal smart pot 2 days after germination. Seed got stuck on the poor thing after germination and had to help it out with some tweezers. The young'n is doing well so far, I'm definitely an inexperienced grower but excited to learn along the way.
She is taking her time but definitely getting more beautiful every day. Been doing light feedings of Roots Organic Buddha Grow and their Trinity line. Alternating days of plain water and feeding since day 9. Slowly increasing the amounts to make sure I don't do anything I'll regret. Seems to like it so far. Again this is my first grow ever so any and all tips are welcome!
Good week for the little one. I'm not gonna top or anything like that since this is my first time. Figured I'd try a little lst to open her up a bit. Any input is always appreciated. Stay lifted y'all
Slowly adjusting her tie down every other day. She's really tight and bushy and hasn't really given me a good way to train it to be more open. Thought about defoliating but haven't quite committed to that yet. But she's doing well and growing happily, looking forward to the next week in hope that it'll start to take off a bit.
Good growth for the little gal this week! She's finally starting to open up a bit although she is still a fairly compact plant. It's been a lot of fun to watch this one catch up to my other autos. I'm starting to think that she's gonna pass the other one up soon. I've slightly adjusted some of the lst but mostly been slowly removing any unhealthy leaves. Happy growing!
Great week for the gal! Weather cooled off slightly and got a splash of rain. She started producing trichome this week and she is still getting some vertical growth. Will stop feeding buddha grow this coming week. Really fun to watch this beauty do her thing! Happy growing!
Good week for the little cookies. Alternating food and fresh water every other day and fed bigfoot myco on day 43. She is pumping out trichome and starting to fatten up just a bit.
Out of town this week but had someone care for her and get a picture. Fed this week but also started flushing on day 56. Will continue with fresh water til harvest.
Week 9 has been great, just fresh water til the chop. Not sure when exactly she'll be ready but I've been trying to check trichome daily but my hand scope is not the easiest. Anybody have thoughts on when she might be ready to take down?
Week 10 in the books for this beauty! She has started to get some color as well as some unwanted bugs. I'm hoping she'll be ready to take down in a few days but not gonna rush. 😁
Harvested on day 75, trichomes were probably 10 to 20% amber and rain was coming so I went for it!
Great plant to grow, sturdy, resilient, adaptive.
She did great outdoors, my lighting situation in my yard wasnt the best but she got a solid 12 hours a day. Haven't ran into any mold, although did have some caterpillars toward the end.
Would recommend growing this plant to anyone as she was easy to grow but also appears to be super dank. I will do a more thorough review once the smoke is cured. Thanks Grow Diaries for giving is a place to share our grows and continue to learn 👊
Definitley would do some things differently but I do have 2 more seeds to play with later on!
Update:
She's been curing for almost 2 weeks now and my she packs a punch! Still tastes a lot like a durban or haze type strain which is not quite what I expected. I can't complain though because the taste and smell is strong 😤 very happy with this grow and will run her again next spring! Thanks for checking out the grow 🙏✌️
