UNFORTUNATLEY NO PICTURES FROM BEFORE, DISCOVERED THIS WEBSITE TO LATE :) To give a bit background.. Started germinating the seeds from the 18th of May under a LED bulb of 150w. 24th of May first flower. From week 3 I started noticing little flies in the soil and around the plant. I decided to change the soil (back then I didn't know it wasn't good to repot autoflowers.) but the flies were still coming back. After some research I found out I was dealing with rootflies. Found some natural ways to get rid of them flies and larves and repeated several techniques but the flies just kept on coming back. Decided this week to get a 450w Led panel and to treat the soil with nematodes. In the meantime I had these yellow sticky stickers that were helping but not enough. Mixed 1 bag of 10mil nematodes with 3L of water. 1L for every plant. Let it rest for a night and then a put a 2cm layer playsand, so the flies can't crawl to the top anymore. Already significant less flies are flying around and hope the nematodes will to their job and the plants can restore. They are still looking small and I don't think I will yield a nice amount from the autoflowers. Hope the power flower will restore and get a decent yield. At the end of the week I will start watering them again with Hesi nutrition. The soil was probably already contaminated with the rootflies when I bought it. Won't be making the same mistakes again. Also will use airpots and maybe a rootstimulator.

@Cannadisco Hi mate your soil was obviously infected when you used it. and the flies are not a good sign. It is Never really a good idea to bring soil thats been outdoors inside as it brings other unwanted things in with it. What I would do is get some Diatomaceous Earth and sprinkle it all over the top of your soil you can also mix it with water and spray it on during the vegetative period. This stuff once contacted will kill bugs etc and is also a natural source of Silica which is benficial to your plants overall health. Another product is neem oil which will get rid of mites as well. While your there water a tablespoon of epsom salts into your soil to add natural magnesium Hope this helps

@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks for your feedback. Not noticing any black spots on my leaves so far but will look out for them. 1 of them has a lot of them. 1 nothing and the other one just 1 leave. Can I mix calmag together with my nutritions?

@DILLIGAF, Thanks for the feedback. Yes, wont be making the same mistake again with the soil. I'm gonna wait a week and see what effect the nematodes will have. If the flies still keep coming then i'll definitely will try out to put some diatomaceous earth on it. With the sand right now it would be difficult I guess?
