Dropped them in plain reverse osmosis water on Sunday July 14 at 730pm. I'll let these soak for around 18-24 hrs then if they havnt already popped I'll put them in a paper towel for another 24 hours. After they pop I'll either put them into solo cups which I havnt done in years or I'll put them in the final pots if i can get over to the hydro shop for some coco in time. Havnt had the best luck with autos recently so I'm not sure how this will go but let's give it a shot. I'll be 1 armed for another couple weeks but i think well figure it out.
Update
7.17 almost 100% germ rate, never moved them to paper towel they ended up soaking for 36ish hours. Only 1 of 2 FBT5 did not germinate but I put it in a wet towel to give it another chance. They then went into a 50/50 coco:soil mix, into 18 oz solo cups, with a sprinkle of living organics powder from Green Buzz Liquids on top. The feed I gave them consisted mostly of enzymes, humid acid and mycos ppm 250 ph 5.95. Went into humidity dome with the rest of my autos under 19.5 Hrs light. Once I clean on my 4x4 they will be moved into that so I can have the lights lowered to avoid too much stretch. Plan is to transplant from the solo cups to the final pots which will be 3 gallon Radicle Bags.
Hey there!

Definitely going to be following this one, this strain is showing a lot or promise!
One armed? Howcome?🙆♂️🏼 At least it’s a time where there won’t be too much vegetative growth!
Well I wish you a lot of luck with this auto! I’m sure it’ll go alright👍 Subbed up!
See that's really nice for two weeks.....I am trying to figure that out....BUT I GOT MY FIRST CHOP... still have 7 plants going...#3 took an early exit ...DRYING VERY VERY WELL....cedar closet Natural climate 68f 60% humidity.. :I put #3 in there humidity went to 65% and has slowly dropped back to 61-62%.....not quite dry but almost.....I might just leave here in there????? Any thoughts on that???? It is the perfect climate....then I snipe and trim as needed.... Really starting to smell nice...sticky...but I took her a bit early...MY FIRST TIME have to see the difference for myself.....I'm trying the MAIN LINE and DO NOTHING BUT MANDATORY DEFOLIATION 4 of each with two different nutrients....I was thinking of having three diaries of the one grow...THE SIDE BY SIDE and the individual nutrient solution grows....BIG BUDS....BIG BUDS....BIG BUDS....NO WAMMIES.....BIG BUDS STOP...on move two spaces to collect 1/4lb or 1/2lb of Fast Buds Zkittlez…..that is what I want to do is make a WEED GAME SHOW based on PRESS YOUR LUCK....
@Hawkbo,yeah it does jump up....to 75% when I put three plants in at the same time.....but Fanning the door every now and then did it perfect....they slowly settle back to 60%.....I got over a LB on my first grow after a tight trim....12 of those ounces are really nice...the rest went to DABS & DRY ICE HASH...they were decent...but the other flowers are so much better....happy with my first ever grow....closet worked out..The Cedar is bug and mold resistant....which makes it an added bonus....
@@Wilson_McNugget, haha your a mad man I try to keep it around 59% but if its settling at 60% I'd take that all day but requires a close eye in case it jumps up a bit could be dangerous🙏
looking pretty nice so far....have you done anything other then defoliation? I was thinking of doing a few main line and a few defoliation next time...I noticed you say 0.5 gallons of water every 24hrs....is that correct? I put a bit over a half gallon on my plants every 48-60 hours and they are in 5 gallon pots....I am getting a pretty good result for my first ever grow....so far pretty happy with the development I have gotten...
@Hawkbo, over feeding and under watering!!! yeah that confirms my thoughts on WATER BIG let dry WATER BIG AGAIN..i did just get a R/O filter, I hope it has a nice Ph and PPM...ive been buying R/O water 6.0 0.01....im pretty happy with my first grow....I MADE SOME BIG MISTAKES...but I kept going and they are better then a lot of the Newbies...at least I know what trimming 250lbs of weed is like...SO I KNOW WHERE I REALLY WANT MY WEED TO BE....so tough when to go to flush?? I GROW MUSHROOMS IN MY SLEEP...this takes a lot more effort ;~].
@@Wilson_McNugget, thanks dude, these ones have just got minimal defolation so far, now that I'm a little ways into bloom I'll start pluckin more off here and there just to keep the air flowing and honestly so the trim job is easier for me. I dont give a set amount of feed, I always water til I have 20% run off or so. It depends on the plant size to pot size ratio but with these ones and for most of my plants they get fed every 48 hours about 1 gal per plant gives me enough run off. Just read the plant and dont overfeed, overfeeding is so common on here and it is gunna hurt more than help
Dam bro that gelato looks amazing congrats. I was planing on running it this time but i jus got sponsored by fast buds to do a journal on here. An i ended up going with the Rhino Ryder and Zkittles and after i already had those coming to me i seen the gelato pop lol. So now its on my to do list haha. But i was wondering how was it to grow her out? Was she a big eater or did she like it light on the nutes? An how was the yield pretty good or is it not dry enough yet 2 weigh yet? Eitherway i subbed up an since im new here i dnt know quite how the site works yet. So still figuring everything out lol but i was tryn to follow u so if u start any other journals i can follows those as well. Anyway great job man the plant looks amazing congrats.
@FrostyBlaze420, thank you dude the gelato was easy to grow I just feed them all the same strength whether they like it or not but the yield has been pretty solid with this strain depend on the pheno you get tho some have very thin stems those yield anlittle less
You should have lolliepoped her. That way you'd get much more dense tops and none of that airy stuff down the bottom. Beautiful grow mate got some beans I'm eager to pop them after seeing this 🤙🏼
@Dankdownunder, thanks man, normally I would train em but I had one arm for a bit and was dealing with harvesting the 4x8 photoperiods so I just let em go, lowers i usually end up giving away to friends and family when they need it ✌️
Nice plants, i'm doing same strain, you're 2 weeks ahead so its nice to see where i'm going with these gelato. Some nice frost you have there 😋 I like that ! Have a pleasant grow ! 😀
@WildeWeed, thank you! I dont use anything special it's a nikon d5600 which is on average a $500 camera but you can get one cheaper used and the d3400 is even cheaper and the same thing without flip PCD display. The lense I usually use is a 85mm nikkor micro lense. I also have a 40mm but the 85 is used primarily.
