Welcome to all viewers and co-contestants of our friendly solo cup challenge i hope Some of you want to feel the urge to join here are Some basic rules Leave a comment below so i can add you!!! The container(cup empty bottle little flowerpot whatever you use) must be 0.473ml closed container no roots can grow out of the bottom of the container no little hydro experiments(🤣😭)either Growmedium are soil,Coco, vermiculite, perlite, clay pellets, rockwool or anything of your choise except for little dwc hydrophonics, bubblephonics aerophonics..... no little Bucket bubblers The duration of the challenge lets say 14 weeks so everybody has time to do quick germination and 3,5months from seed to harvest Strain of your own choise meaning autoflower feminised or regular its your choise Basic grow and flower nutes are alloud You can poke drainage holes in the bottom but no roots can grow outside the cup(meaning no bigger roots hairline roots are normal to grow a little out but you understand the general meaning??) Only 1 cup can enter if you grow more(regular photoperiod)just untill sex is shown and then you choose your contestant At the end the highest yielder wins! My choise went to big nugs fast by seedsman because of the very short flowerperiod of 6-7weeks and easy to train i think i’m going to do a little flux on her just to maximise her yield and since i have about 5 weeks from germination and 2 weeks of flowerstretch so i think it will work Germination was very quick on this strain planted my seed 17/6/2019 so on 1/10 is my final date to have her harvested Mixed regular soil with 2.4grams of biotabs,2.5grams of startrex and pored 0.5grams of mycotrex in the hole before i planted the lady So good luck to all who is interested in doing your own little learning experiance😉😉 20/6/2019 day 1 of the challenge for me i’m actually very happy for all of your support maybe gd should follow and do Some give aways?? To all constants i wish you good luck and leave a comment so i can follow you guy’s and girls with much interest😉 So i have an new update to the competition fastbuds, female seeds and biotabs nl Will provide a giveaway to the winner and i’m still negotiating with mars hydromanufacturer to also provide a giveaway just to make things really interesting and i’m contacting gd for making the challenge official and public for anyone to join!! Before i go further i want everybody to know i’m withdrawing from my own challenge and only Will be judging but i wil stil obey the rules and grow my cup but my final weight wil not count for winning position so i can be a fair judge and there is no confusion amongst you eager growers My very best regards silky So week 1 of veg Germination went very fast on this strain if this is an indication for the rest of the grow it Will go fast and smooth just like i do my training In about 8 to 10 days she Will be topped for the very first time like a virgin thought for the very first time and then heavy sm torture 🤣🤣🤣 Day 4 she is growing very fast with in the next week i wil be starting her on a basic little flux just to get the grow spread out evenly over her extended grow sticks i’m planning on putting little stainless steel bares tru the top side so i can guide the flux outward its not going to be easy but hey in my basement nothing truelly is😈😈😈 Day 5 first she is growing at a nice pace looking very crooked but grows just as good Big Nugs Fast is a pretty self-explanatory name as it does exactly what it says on the tin! Big Nugs Fast is Critical Mass / Big Bud (Afghani x Skunk) crossed with an exceptionally fast-maturing male plant. It grows big colas in double-quick time. Big Nugs Fast develops heavy buds, so much so that the branches will definitely need some sort of support to avert the possibility of them snapping under the weight. Not only are these indica-dominant plants quick to mature, taking 6 - 7 weeks of flowering, but they also produce very good yields of 450 - 550 gr/m2 indoors under lights. This strain will also prosper outdoors as well as in a greenhouse where it will be ready to harvest in September. Plants are of medium size growing to approximately 80 - 120 cm. tall and produce buds with lots of resin, a fruity taste and high levels of THC. CBD content is as yet unknown.

At the start of week 3 she is doing very good responding very nicely to last weeks topping and just did her first clean up and placed the first guidehooks in a little cup😉 Day 17 i desided to remove the guide hooks the soil is a little to Loose and she is pulling the guide hooks out of the soil so in a few days i can put in heavier ones but the space between her is not big enough to place the bigger double hooks Day 18 placed her final bigger hooks so now she does not have to undergo any additional stress disrupting the Tiny rootsystem as we go further on our little journey🤣🤣

At the start of week 8 she is still doing amazing and looking very healty and lush green the little nuggets are fatning up nicely and smelling very tasty cant put my finger on it what the smell is but its like a certain brand of bubblegum very sweet Day 51 drinking 33cl a day that’s a lot for such a little thing but she takes it in 3 times feeding her at 6 in the morning 5 in the afternoon and 11 at night like a little baby that needs her bottle in time Some of the outer leaves are colouring a little but hey she is half way her flowercycle so i expected her to start showing Some kind of signs that fall is starting to kick in Day 53 split her stem on top of her flux knob to increasse thc and budproduction to the fullest potential and binded a soft bendie arround it so she does not split further then neccesary🙏🙏 To all contestants the end dates is moved to 31 december due to Some unexpected and unnormal wheather factors with Some of the contestants Some of them have to unfortunatly start over so to give every one a fair chance final date is 31 DECEMBER!!! Or 14weeks as maximum growcycle Everybody gets that?!🙄🤣🤣 Not many people know about this trick, but I’m sharing it with you today. Have you ever heard of splitting the stem of your plant? No? Well, did you know this will force your plants to create heavier and denser buds? And it also increases THC production up to 20%! The purpose of stem splitting is to disturb the flow of nutrients and water right at the base of the stem. This will cause the plant to start producing more trichomes which means heavier and denser buds with higher THC levels. Make sure to read my article How to split the stem to increase THC levels after I tell you how to do this in 3 easy steps. How to split the stem in 3 easy steps: Step 1 Tie the stem with a rope or cable tie right at the base. Tie a second rope or cable tie a couple inches above that. Step 2 Take a very sharp knife and cut from the top tie to the bottom tie. There should be one vertical cut that is a few inches in length. Step 3 The knife should remain inside until you have a pencil or chopsticks to replace it with. This is to keep both sides of the marijuana plant from touching each other. Splitting the stem causes stress on the plant and forces it to create more trichomes. Trichomes serve as protectors of the marijuana plants. Specifically against pests, diseases, low temperatures and wind. Because of this protective feature, more trichomes are produced during times of stress. Take advantage of this special feature and read this article about splitting the stem and many more secret tricks to grow huge buds and increase your yield

Article: Splitting the stem of cannabis plants is a controversial technique buzzing around the cannabis forums of late. Outdoor ganja farmers in Colombia during the 1960’s and 70’s were reputed to “ring” cannabis stems a couple of weeks before harvest. A pocketknife is the only tool needed. The practice is believed to have given Colombian Gold its golden nugget bag appeal. By inducing senescence to increase potency and break down chlorophyll, the method helped make the strain a legend, allegedly. The splitting technique has been popularised by outdoor Dutch cultivators online. Splitting stems follows similar logic to “tree ringing”. Instead of completely removing a few layers of bark from the circumference of the stem you split it with a vertical cut through the middle. Make no mistake. This is extreme high-stress training. When To Split Cannabis Stems If you are going to experiment with the splitting technique, timing is crucial. Splitting the main stem of a flowering female cannabis plant 7-10 days before harvest is the window that most growers favour. Inducing high levels of stress to force the plant to produce more resin and terpenes with a split is tricking Mother Nature. Marijuana will respond to this kind of stress negatively if you split too early. How To Split Cannabis Stems Splitting cannabis plants stems doesn’t require brute force. Rather precision, preparation and the right tools for the job are what you need. Moreover, splitting is best suited to outdoor marijuana crops. Although, an indoor experiment can succeed following the same methodology. First, gather up your splitting tools. Don’t worry, they are all easy to come by. You need a large, non-serrated, sharp kitchen knife, 3 pencils or kebab skewers if can get them, and some string. Next, size up your stem. Measure out an area approx 15-20cm(outdoors and about 5 cm for indoor cannabis) long from just below the lowest set of branches towards the ground. Wrap the string around the stem a few times. Tie off two pieces of string to mark the borders of the area to be split. One for the top and one for the bottom. Then carefully drive the blade through the stem. With one hand on the handle and the other depressing the dull side of the blade slowly and as straight as possible split the stem. All the way to the lower knot. Don’t remove the blade just yet. While the wound is still fresh and open with the blade wedged in the bottom, insert the 3 skewers to prevent it from closing. Slide out the blade and make sure your skewers are spaced out. That’s how to split the stem of a cannabis plant Benefits Of Splitting Cannabis Stems Splitting is reputed to increase the potency of marijuana and possibly boost flower production too. this high-stress method works, and they are at least reporting positive results. Experiment with one cannabis plant as a test case if you are considering it. DISADVANTAGES OF SPLITTING Splitting, by its very nature, is rough treatment for cannabis plants. High stress close to completing the bloom cycle is risky. For autoflower cultivators, this technique is best avoided. Similarly, novice growers should skip splitting. Unless you’re already hitting the potency barrier, the splitting technique is unlikely to push your marijuana to produces extra potent gooey buds.

Last week flush week Overall very pleased with the result did not have a bump in the road at all and she was very easy to grow and very forgiving when it came to her training The cup grow was a succes she stands only 13,5cm tall and from 1 tip of the mainbud to the other she is 30.6cm long and 21cm wide and packed with nugs and the smells fills up the entire growbox with a sweet bubblegumish smells like the pink bubbalicious chewing gum so nice so i only can imagon what complexity her taste is going to be like❤️❤️❤️❤️ So this week is going to be hell for her i’m going to split her completly tru to about 1.5 cm above the soil put toothpicks between her and bind her back together so the split stay open(about 1.5-2mm) so the flow is even more disrupted this tricks the girl into even more overproducing thc and flavours and she has to fight even harder in her last day’s for her survival and eventually begs for mercy🖤🖤😈😈🖤🖤 She is finishing up nicely her little nugs are packed with cristals
