The flowers are starting show a build up of crystals, I’m shocked at the speed this plant is producing flowers. They are filling up fast from the top down, as you can see still some time to go before all the main flowers are fully developed. The leaves show signs of heat damage and over watering but that’s ok. The heatwave has passed but it’s still on the warmer side. The cutting is flowering normally and is receiving light directly so hopefully it will produce a small flower or 2.

How would grafting an indica auto on to a sativa photo plant affect the flowering process? Would it slow down?

First of all if you do a graft and to make it succesfull you should take a freshly cut branch cut it at a 45 degree angle and search a branch on your plant that’s the same thinkness and cut it basicly the same as your branch that you want to graft now place them nicely on eachother making sure that the cuts fit perfectly and now first take Some teflon to make the wrap and then tape it up you Will have a allmost 90-95% succes rate every time As far as grafting sativa’s and indica’s it does not matter at all they just finish on your plant at different rates

We did not read the question correctly its autoflower and regular photoperiod this is slightly different because of yield but basicly it also Will flower but the autoflower graft(if it is auto) Will have significant less yield because auto’s need more lighthoures a day to flower instead of photo’s they need the dark period to make flowers you should read up on the subject of lightintensity in order for flowers to develop in the night stage of photoperiods

@Silky_smooth_smooth_smooth, after learning more about light intensity I Increased the light output from 177.3w to 199.1W I also added a light aimed at the cutting but as of now it off as the temperature in the box has risen to 30c Reminding me why I decreased the wattage in the first place :)

@Silky_smooth, Wow I never knew that ! Thank you for sharing that with the grow community. It has revolutionised the way I think about this plant. I will now go ahead and read more about the differences in photosynthesis adopted by ruderalis, sativa and indica in order to utilise their full potential. Btw You should be payed for all the work you do here. Without people like you this place would be 💩

Pretty awesome on that graft. Curious to see how it flowers compared to the rest of the plant.

Thanks @Wicked_Stix, It’s kinda starting to flower but it’s from an auto so wait and see I guess. I’m planning on keeping the tree after harvest and grafting lots of them to see if I can produce more faster!

@Techpuffin Wow what a great little experiment You could possibly grow 5 or more strains on the one rootstock I put an answer to your question too mate

@Cannibalgardens, thanks It took about 7 attempts at the same time all failed apart from this one. It was the one I neglected the most and I even forgot about it thinking they all failed.

Autos don't graft or clone, it never takes

@Tok01, have you tried? Maybe they sent me all photos but lied to me!
