Zollies_zn I presoaked the seed for 12 hours and planted her about 0.5cm into pre wet soil in a 10L fabric pot and into the tent!
She popped up with some solid serrated leaves, strong green and healthy cotyledons and kept her shell on the one cot! Left it on for nature to do her thang!
She was under a 240W quantum board and then on the 29th of May a Mars Hydro 48 joined the mix, but left a bit later on - youβll be able to tell by the pictures haha!

Zollies_zn At this stage I had no fans and no humidity control except the vents in the tentβΊοΈ
Still just watering at this stage (water out the dam on the farm) started moving my watering away from the stem to try train the roots.
The seedling also fell over at day 7 which concerned me - was worried it was a root rot issue (considering there is no airflow maybe it was a weak stem) and so I watering scarcely.
I was pleased with the growth of the plant, she was motoring faster than any other auto Iβve grown - she is my first indoor from the start!
New growth was slightly light green but I knew the soil was hotter a bit further down (made a soft spot the size of a noodle bowl for the seedling with no nutes)

Zollies_zn Chugging along, starting to pick up some pace now and standing tall! Still only watering and quite sparingly to try make her search for water π¦
She was growing with tight inter-nodal spacing (compared to outdoor at least)π±
Changed lighting to 20/4 and got a timer to leave lights off during hottest time of the day while I was at work. Bumped temps up a bit! π₯
I was very pleased with progress and able to see daily gains!πͺπ mars hydro 48 joined us for three days!

Zollies_zn Carrying onward and upward - I decided itβs time to move forward and begin training π just a simple bend for the top of the stalk - anchored the bottom to prevent pull on the roots!
Still only water! Still trying to water further around stem to help roots search π¦π± maybe watering too scarcely as she was droopy!
Moved the driver of the 240W quantum board inside the tent of more warmth! Oh and pots have been on crates to
Assist with being off the ground and allowing airflow beneath!

Zollies_zn This week I saw a lot of growth, I tied her down and started going heavier on the defoliation. She started drinking a bit more.
I did give her a feed of some organic powder this old lady made for me! Very light dosage!
She was recovering very fast and weβll from defoliation - impressed with the daily progress π±

Zollies_zn Pre flower time baby π₯π this lady stretched a lot - but I was heavy handed in defoliation and tying her down.
Gave her two more feeds of that locally made organic powder (I will get the mix, I trust the old lady in that itβs organic) I started biobizz bloom in the next week! π very happy with the training and how she is looking!
Towards the end of the week she started shouting a lot of pistols and developing some delicious looking bud!

Zollies_zn Yoh, week 2 of flowering and this lady is drinking a LOT of waterπ¦ she got fed 10ml of BioBizz Bloom twiceπ(PS sorry if I input the nutes wrong - this is the true regime here haha) Iβve now stopped defoliation in the fear of hurting yield.
I must say this lady is gaining weight faster than a middle aged man with a slowing metabolism and abysmal eating habits πͺ sheβs started trichome production and is giving off a slight scent! Very happy with the progress on this girl!
I put another fan in for extra airflow, near the intake of the tent - I have no extraction or intake system and just two fans going in there! π¨
Zollies_zn Alrighty, so unfortunately I was away this entire week due to work thangsπ€΅ But we gotta pay for our hobby somehow right π
Anyways, I had a mate watering for me but thatβs all I trusted him with βοΈ He did a fine job!
I walked into the house and was immediately hit with the sweet dank smell π I unzipped the tent and it just hit me even more, this girl is smelling topsπ She turned from a young girl to a woman this week and she is getting thickkkkkππ
I took her out to have a good look and line behold - powdery mildew π°π sheβs close to done, so I defoliate her heavily, cranked the fan speed up and removed all but 3 plants from the tent βΊοΈ the RH dropped to 40%, in hoping it now stays there. Not much I can do about the temperature fluctuationsπββοΈπΌ Need to get an exhaust fan π
But otherwise she is thickening up nicely, frosting up delightfully and seeing delicious ππ hopefully I can keep the PM under control!

Zollies_zn Again, away for the week but managed to make a journey home to check on the ladyπ my word she is really smelling out my little cottage π€£as you open the door it hits you! And theyβre in a tent!!
Anyways, Day 72 for this one and weβre getting close, sheβs looking really good! I canβt wait to harvest her π€€ there were two tiiiny spots of PM on some leaves and I took them off and also took off a few fan leaves covering bud sites βοΈ other than that, same feed of biobizz bloom - Iβm going to stop feeding her now and let her do her thing until sheβs ready π Iβm back home from tomorrow, thank goodness - hate being away haha!πππ

Water out my dam water

Zollies_zn Well guys n gals, weβve come to the last week of this beautiful plant, so I certainly am going to flood you all with pictures π€£βοΈ I hope you enjoy! I just had to because she was such a pleasure to grow and Iβve grown real fond of her! Always exciting by sad when you cut one down πββοΈπΌ
She developed nicely over the last week, sheβs ripe and ready! I donβt have a jewelers loup, but Iβm 99% sure sheβs readyπͺπ she got the chop today and Iβll post harvest update soon!
She was fed just water and for the last 3 days she was removed from the tent and left in darkness βοΈπ± sheβs super pungent, itβs a sweet fuel like smell and really stank out my whole place π€£enjoy! I know I did πππ
Zollies_zn So this was my first indoor auto (plant even) from start to finish and I must say she was just a breeze to grow πͺπ very easy, she was a very strong plant -she bounced back very nicely from heavy defoliations through the grow and tying her down βοΈ
I loved growing in Organics soil and was pleasantly surprised with the weight βοΈ 71 dry was great considering I didnβt add any βplant steroidsβπ€£ about 10 grams of this is a bit fluffy from the lowers and will be used for edibles! Next grow I will be more diligent in cleaning lowers πͺπ±
The 414 wet weight was with branches and before trimming... not sure exactly what to do there hahaha! I trimmed most fan leaves off before hanging and then went in for the sugar leaves once dry!
She hung to dry for 7 days and now she will go into jars for curing to develop those terps! She already BANGS and had people smelling her on me long after I left the roomπ€£πͺ Iβm getting a gassy/fuel/fruity/citrus smell off of her!
One thing I must comment on is the gram per watt story below. Iβve entered everything there but there are two more gorilla glue plants which are flowering in the tent at the moment... so this was not the only plant in the tent. Therefore the gram per watt is someWATT (hehe) off.
PLEASE NOTE; π
I will come back and edit the smoke report once the bud has cured for a decent timeπ I will also get out the macro lense and post some Lekker photos π₯Exercising some serious restraint by not incinerating these beautiful looking and smelling sticky AF nugs πββοΈπΌπ₯
Overall Iβm very very happy and surprised at my dry weight! Thank you to Fastbuds for damn awesome genetics πͺπ this Gorilla Glue is a beauty!!
On harvest her roots filled the entire 10L fabric pot from top to bottom and side to side πͺπ you know how when you water it disturbs the soil ontop? Well during flowering when I watered her it didnβt disturb shit because it was just a huge mass of roots π€£π makes me wonder how much more she would have yielded had I had an automated watering system whereby she could drink when she wanted to! π one day!! ILL BE BACK!
Some beautiful buds you got there. Gorilla glue is a lovely strain and cant go wrong with fast buds. But your doing an amazing job with these ladies. Some lovely color I dont usually see on GG. Keep doing what your doing and beat of luck the rest of the way.
@Denzul, thank you kindly Good Sirππ I appreciate the input! Is the colour from environment or maybe pheno?
Thank you, letβs see how it goes till the end, I appreciate the luck, holding thumbs βοΈπ¬π±
@Zollies_zn, the color could be either. But generally even if the color is in the genetics it takes certain environmental conditions to bring them to their fullest. For example purple's are expressed more vibrantly when grown in lower temps. But the genetics need to have a purple characteristic in them at first. If it's not a purple genetic no matter how cold it'll still be green. So long story short it's part the pheno and part your solid environmental conditions. Hope this helped a little
Looking good Zollies......and as you mentioned we're at a similar stage of life. Could be helpful! π
Mine are drinking plenty too - have upped the Bloom to 2.5 ml per l at day 48 with Grow at 1 ml - you make me question if I ought to be using more?!?
@mr_h_kovert,thank you very much man! And that we are!
Look, this is my first time using nutrients so yeah. But my philosophy is that if the plants donβt look like they need it then they probably donβt! Less is more. Although I am feeding bloom nutes this time to see how it affects yields - and itβs organic!
Iβm not sure how exactly this diary works out dosage of feed, but I only fed twice during the week at 10mls each - so 20mls for the week. Where as youβll be feeding 17.5ml a week of bloom with 7ml of grow! So weβre actually pretty similar π just different in how we feed - yours most likely is more efficient and less waste - who knows I am new to this!
Now I need to work out how to Input the data here properlyπ€£
@Zollies_zn, I am glad to see your GG is growing nice. my friend just grew 3 autos, all fast bud seeds I gave him out doors. All are tiny plants. maybe 18" tall. I am used to much bigger ones growing. I saw your post to me but could not see where to reply. You mentioned the more light for these. I have tried a 14/10 to a 18/6 my self. my plants need the dark time. The only time they seem to do better with the 18/6 for me is in late flower. tightens the buds up nice. Other than that. I run a 14/10
I am looking forward to watching this girl here finish. You are doing a great job π
@leitogrowARG,
Hi there! So Iβm going to answer this in parts;
1) generally during flowering one will remove any leaves blocking light from reaching the bud sites - you want direct light on them;
2) during vegetation I aim to remove leaves on the lowers as well as any bud sites which are unlikely to develop - this is to focus grown towards the main colas. I also remove fan leaves to increase airflow around the plant to reduce the risk of mold and pests.
If the plant responds well to minor defoliation during veg stage then I will defoliate as I tie branches down - here I pick off any fan leaves which cover future bud sites, this allows for a more even canopy. If you donβt, youβll see that some branches will grow more than others and shade out the lowers.
BUT on this grow, if you read back, I had a slight issue with PM - so I basically took off every fan leaf on the plant during the last stages of flowering - I donβt think it hurt my yield!
This girl was defoliate heavily throughout the grow and responded very well - so I went heavy.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions!
@illumenati, thanks growmie! I appreciate it π sheβs looking like a solid strain so far, I have been impressed! I appreciate you stopping by βοΈ
Those buds look amazing, well done dude! And great yield for your first plant, I would be super happy with that! My GG sprouted yesterday, hope it turns into something similar! Enjoy!!
@DoobieBrother01, shot brother! I was very pleased with the quantity and quality of this plantπ± what a pleasure she was to grow! I have no doubt you will enjoy growing her ππ thanks for stopping by!
@Shinsimilla, thanks very much! I myself am looking forward to shhhmoking this baby!π
Awesome stuff, with tender love and care (and sometimes some tough love, like tying her downπ π) Iβm sure youβll get lovey results!
Iβll definitely check your grows out!
@mr_h_kovert, thank you very much Good Sir π I must say I was very pleased with the results and the genetics - this wasnβt my first form start to finish indoor plant and this strain made it super easy ππ₯
mmm mmm mmm mmm mmmm. Looking very appetising indeed Z Man and the frost is increasing too! She's also developing some lovely colours - gotta be happy with that bro?! πππ
@mr_h_kovert, why thank you good Sir ππ
I must say I am very happy with her! Just chopped her down and am in trim jail π€£πββοΈπΌ
Thank you very much for stopping by βοΈ
