Began the grow using one auto fem Caramelicious seed. This is my first grow of cannabis. I currently hydro Bell Peppers and Tomatoes, so I have some fundamentals down already. I added one drop of Root Farms base nutrient solution to the Rock wool then dampened with a tablespoon of water. This is three days post germination. The seed took three days to germinate.

Moved the seedling to a 7 gal fabric pot. Grow media is Coco and perlite in a 50/50 ratio. I treated the mix with a weak mix of cal-mag, Mycorrhizae, and bio marine. pH was tested at 6.79 using a pH tester, NIST calibrated. I set the plant in a 21/3 schedule and will watch for signs of soil moisture loss before I water and provide nutrients.

The plant has been growing very well under a 320 true watt LED panel. The model is Tolys 1000. Humidity at 57-60 and temps are 68-70. I'm keeping things on the cooler side.

Great color and very healthy looking. Nice strong stem. Its growing about 1/2 inch per day vertical and about the same horizontally. Providing cal-mag 1ml/gal right now.

I am watering with RO at 5.2 pH this week due to suffering from nutrient lockout. As evidence in the picture, she has a slight nitrogen and potassium defeciency.

She's growing like crazy under 20 hours of light per day. Just started flowering appx 7 days after showing sex. Started incorporating molasses and upped the bio Marine. Showing a very minor nitrogen issue. Looks like lockout. I'm not going to worry too much about it because I'll start flushing in two weeks. For now I'm keeping pH at 5.9

She has taken off vertically and stretching about an inch per day. Light had been raised up to 30 inches above canopy. I have tied off all the side blooms using LST techniques to allow more light penetration. I added bloom nutes to the list and re-watered with nutes added at pH 5.8. The plant is recovering from lockout. Discovered the pH of the coco was 7.2 using the slurry method and flushed with 5.5 until slurry tested 5.6 then re-upped the nutes. Going in for a heavy feeding for two weeks then going to start the RO flush until finish.

I did a heavy feeding after a heavy flush this week and she had been taking off like a rocket. She was definitely locked out and nutrient deficient. I think I got it corrected in time. Leaf tips and edges are almost all green again. Going to ramp up the light and put a red spectrum nearby.

I switched the lights over to far red bloom. Did one last heavy feeding before flush starts. She's gaining weight pretty quickly. Doubling twice a week. Trich production is getting ramped up.

The Coco EC is 1980 and my pH slurry is 6.25. Using NIST calibrated equipment (Certified metrologist here). She really seems to be loving life and is taking everything I can throw at her. Being an auto, should I start flushing soon or keep up the heavy nutrient regimen?

Plant looks great. If she looks that good keep it up until about 50% of the white pistils have dried and turned orange then start checking the trichome color with a 40x jewelers loupe. Most growers harvest when they see 5% to 30% amber trichomes on their buds. Just keep an eye out for yellow or brown tips appearing on your leaf tips if you see this back off on your nutrients a bit. Hope this helps.👍

What's really surprising me is how long the flowering cycle is going on with this auto. MSNL claims under eight weeks per their product page. With how healthy this plant is, I can see going to ten. Vertical growth had stopped and she's churning out new fan leaves all over the place. The buds are fattening up and trichomes production has increased significantly. I've flushed down to 1250uS and started Terpinator. I'll run this at high dose for two weeks then flush and chop. I think she should be finished by then.

I'm starting her on the terminal diet of a weak flushing solution and tap water. I've trimmed all of the undeveloped bud sites and am going to flush for two days, starve her for three, then it's time to chop. She's around 40% orange pistils and 5-10% amber trichomes. Leaves are still a lush green and don't show any signs of end of life. I'm afraid if I leave her in the tent I'll get Bud rot. It's been raining like crazy here and even with my 1000 sq ft humidifier it's sticking around 60% humidity.

Flushing this plant right now. She's getting chopped next Wednesday. After 13 whole weeks I'm really to take this auto out. I'm wondering if it's really a true auto. I've never had one stay in flower this long.

Overall I had issues with this plant being in lockout for too early, too long. It really preferred pH at 4.5-4.6, drifting above 5 gave me symptoms of lockout that I was unaware of until it was too late to correct.

This plant is easy to grow if you can keep her from locking out. I think it went on longer than average for an auto. Overall I'm pleased with the results. The harvest was slightly over an ounce but I ended up losing about 10 grams because one of my cats slipped in through one of the six-inch holes in my drying tent and destroyed a few of the buds. That's her in the picture

@Philindicus, thanks I appreciate the feedback! I've been handling her just as you said. I'm just going to keep feeding until the leaves started dying off. There's about 5% amber tips right now so she still has got some growing to do.
the end.
